Love this monitor. I am using this monitor as a second screen and I think its about perfect size. Everyone I've talked to says they want a 32" screen, I think that is just way to big, this 23" is a great size. Only problem I have with it is that it does shake a bit when I am typing. I have a desk that has a raised area for the monitor and I have my laptop sitting on the desk. When I type the whole monitor shakes a little, quite annoying but I think I have gotten use to it. I blame this on the monitor stand, it should be spread out more so it is more supportive. The current design does not seem to be able to hold the monitor stable. It may also be because of the desk, the combination of the raised area for the monitor and the monitor itself not being real stable, may be creating the wobble. Star ratings are a bit odd this product so if your interested here is why I rated what I did: Overall: 4 of 5 - Good monitor but not because of shake, not good enough for 5 stars. Value for Price: 5 of 5 - Price was great! Wouldn't have bought if it wasn't. Features: 4 of 5 - It has some corky stuff were you can make it black and white, sepia, or gaussian blur. I really see no need for stuff like that, but it does have it none the less, so 4 starts. Image Quality: 5 of 5 - I'm not expert on screen quality, I probably don't even have this thing set up to the best settings, but I'm using a VGA cable and the picture looks great! Design: 2 of 5 - Again, I think the base (stand) needs to be a little more supportive, I was torn between 2 and 3 starts, but this shake is rather annoying.

Worked great right out of the box, picture is sharp and clear and can be viewed from pretty good angles before washing out, no dead pixels either. I am running this at max resolution and all it does is work great. The mounting base is a little too flimsy for my taste could be more solid, just make sure you don't put it where it will get bumped and you'll be fine Overall a great monitor for the price, I rated it 4.2 out of 5

The monitor works great. Controls are easy to use. Lives up to what is advertised. However, I bought this unit because it was one of a few that were a wall mount. I have a swing arm mount so I can move the monitor around over my desk. The neck for the stand cannot be removed. Not only is it ugly but in the way for a wall mount. I can no longer have anything stacked on my desk without knocking it over. I do not see how it could sit flush with the wall because of the way the neck curves back. Best Buy sales personel were not even aware of the problem and quickly told me to call LG. When I called LG to see how to remove it they were short with me and not interested in my comments. I may be taking a hacksaw to the neck because it is really bugging me. There are not many GOOD brands to choose from with the wall mount feature and none with 2ms which disappointed me greatly. So far the model works well ....just designed pooly.

This display is overall good, no dead pixels out of the box. The fact that it is VESA compatible is the reason i bought this monitor as i had the other 23 incher on this site from LG that did not have the VESA holes. NOTE this monitor does not have a hdmi connection but that is really not a problem because it has no speakers so there is no point to have digital video and audio. One downside to this monitor is the stand, in my opinion its kinda cheap and very limited adjustments. Once again this isnt a problem for me as I am ordering a VESA desk stand from ergotron to give it more ergonomics. Overall, I would recommend this monitor as it is one of the few LG monitors that offer good performance while being VESA compliant.

True colors, Im so happy I upgraded to the 23 in it makes all the difference. Hardly any glare, fingerprints dont show, crisp, clear, great picvtue. Love it!!

I bought this monitor and I loved it. I loved it so much I bought a second for my dual monitor card. Its true what the other reviews say about it shakes, but Its not that bad it can be lived with for the price, I however have my two set up on a separate bridge on my desk so Now I barely even notice it, If you want a good deal on a proper monitor. This is the one to get.

GOOD MONITOR. I RECOMMEND IT. BOUGHT IT FOR MY PARENTS IN AZ AND THEY LOVE IT. PIC IS CLEAR AND MONITOR IS BIG & EASY TO USE. VERY, VERY EASY TO SET UP - EVEN I COULD DO IT AND I'M TECHNICALLY "CHALLENGED"

Swap to this from the Acer H233H and what a HUGH difference in regards to image quality. Much brighter and crisper. Very little back light leak. Test the display image quality using some test patterns provided via web and things looks good. Although it lacks much of the other features (listed on "What's not so great") provided with the Acer, the image quality makes up for it. The menu is a bit akward to navigate but it's not too often one mess with it. There are no speakers but I have dedicated pc speakers. Luckily I had an extra DVI cable since it did not coe with one. The monitor stand is very basic with limited adjustment. Wish the price was a tad bit lower when I got it.

Easy to purchase and receive (bought online and picked up at store). Easy installation, great picture, aesthetically looks good sitting on my desk.

This monitor was a gift. My daughter is thrilled with it. The response time is great and the picture is very sharp. Large screen. The price was very reasonable for such a great monitor.

Good monitor at a good price. The image quality isn't top of the line, but it's decent.
