Have only had this product for a month. My last dehumidifier (not an LG) only lasted three years. I expect longer life out of this one. The only downside so far is that it has a smallish water storage tank. I would have liked for it to be a little larger. Does a good job keeping my 1,000 square foot basement comfortable, however. Runs quietly, too. Controls are straightforward and easy to use.

Some complain about container size, I disagree, but will note it's a little poorly designed and allows some spillage if removing when full. More directly, if you are paying for this, you are also paying for the built-in vertical pump which would empty the tank for you and negate this "issue". Much quieter than my old dehumidifier but certainly not silent, still, much improved and appreciated. Did arrive with a dented front (shipping), box was dented too, but I did not return... although for this price I should have. Dent does not affect function and isn't horrible; easier to just accept it than return and replace. Would buy again, even at same cost, but $50-75 less would be more reasonable for retail purchase price.

This is easy to use and i love the automatic shut off and light indigator letting u know the dehumidifier is full.

We had hessian worked for a 1 yr 6 months i thought it was quite and this GE is even less noisy i don't known when the pump pumps i never hear a difference i known it pumps because you can see the clear window slot on tank and it goes up a lot before it pumps and goes down a lot not all the way but a good amount. Very pleased. Hope it last longer than the H... we did buy extra warranty.

The water storage is too small although the product is efficient to use.

Good product, has all the features I wanted, BUT....only if you can get it to work!!! Turned on the wifi, the app cannot locate a product; in fact, the app does not even have "dehumidifier" on the product list! Tried to scan the QR code to register it, no luck! It did not recognize it! Tried to connect with someone on their website for support; the model number does not exist!!! Seems like LG is unaware they made this product!! Then I sent an email to LG support; someone responded the next day and asked for more info and screenshots; I sent them all they asked for. No response. I wrote back the next day. No response. I waited for 3days and wrote back again. No response!!! Today is the last day to return the product. I don't want to return it; just need it to work the way it is supposed to!! But I have no choice! Terrible customer service, terrible support from LG! They are all clueless!!! The app even has spelling errors!! I feel like I bought knock-off crap from you know where!!! Never again with LG!!!

We bought three of these to help keep our house in a humid climate at a healthy level of humidity. Two of the three have rusted and freeze up within an hour of turning them on. Poor product, outside of warranty so we can do nothing but buy replacements. Argh.

much easier to use than the last one i had excellent choice ! very easy to set up

lucky I came across this one quite and affordable. the wifi was a little tricky but not bad.

It does a great job lowering the humidity quickly. I like the option of the pump.

Works well. Nicely designed. But unbearably loud.
