I bought this system for the TV/PlayStation set up in the sun room. It is awesome! Great cinema sound and huge bass. Great for music, movies and gaming. I love that you can connect other devices via Bluetooth to jam out to your music library. Great sound and features for the price. I'm very impressed and happy with this purchase.

I purchased this item for my husband and did a lot of research prior to making the decision. For soundbars in this price range, you can't beat it. It was on sale when I bought it. Great deal! Set up was super easy. We paired it with a 60" Sony 3D TV and we're very happy with the sound quality, using the optical cable. We've also used bluetooth to connect a phone for music and the sound quality is incredible. Exactly what we were looking for.

When will TV manufacturers start including wireless subwoofers with their TVs. Soundbars will become obsolete! THAT is why. Yes, the quality of the tweeters are better, and the sound is much better, but getting those deep sounds to broaden the audible spectrum is so vital to a good experience, I had to buy something. Works flawlessly, looks great mounted, very happy. I think the concept is silly, but I AM happy I bought it.

This bar and woofer work good for tv/movies. The woofer can make conversation a little hard to hear as deeper sounds in the background drown them out a little when the volume is low. It also had a little echo effect when on similtaneously with my tv volume so I just leave my tv volume off. The system is great for music and the Bluetooth sync is seamless. Overall, this is a great system for the money.

Really easy to setup. Great sound. That small subwoofer kicks out like my 10" Polk on my other 5.1 system. The remote is not entirely intuitive. If you are wanting to experience a fuller sound from your TV without running wires all over the house, this is one kicking sound system.

I love this soundbar. The Sound quality is very good and the digital display is a very nice feature to have on a soundbar. The Wireless subwoofer is not overpowering but adds just the right amount of bass to music and movies. The USB port is a nice option for paying audio files from flash drives. The design of the soundbar is very solid and pleasing to the eye.

I got this LG for $179 while on sale a couple days ago and it is going to be the one I keep. I've tried both a Sony and a Samsung model that were both $399 each and the sound quality on the LG seems as good as the other two. And all three units were rated 320W. The other two were definitely not worth the extra $220 and felt like I was throwing money away, $400 for a sound bar seems kinda crazy price for what you get. And an added bonus, the LG works perfect with my BH cable remote whereas the Samsung would not at all. I feel very comfortable with the purchase of the LG, no second thoughts.

I was looking to boost my TV's sound output without having to make a huge investment. My TV speakers were just not cutting it. I did some research on my own and talked to a Best Buy sales rep. He was willing to spend time with me sampling a variety of sound bars--including the more expensive ones. In the end, I decided to go with the LG LAS551h model. I've had this sound bar for about a month and I'm still happy with my purchase. Setup was easy. This model will provide good quality sound in most mid-size rooms. The sound quality is crisp and the sub woofer add a lot of thumping. This model has two HDMI slots, one USB, and an optical connection. Bluetooth connection is good for about 60 feet provided there are no significant barrier between your device and the sound bar. I recommend giving it a try. If it's not a good fit you have up to 30 days to return. Just make sure you keep your receipt and the packaging.

This was not the most expensive sound bar. It does have blue tooth capability and has great sound. The sub-woofer will not disappoint you. This was a great buy without spending a small fortune that other sound systems charge.

Wife complains about it but I love it! Gives a great cinema sound and a nice subwoofer low bass feel. Blue tooth works great and easy to set up and go. Wanted the Samsung but glad I went with this for the same price (on sale) but additional wattage.

Yes there are better sound bars in the market but for this price you cannot beat it. Works with my existing lg remote for television and there is good distance for the Bluetooth subwoofer to work clearly away from television. Very clean and clear.

Overall price and sound quality is well worth the money. Item was a chrismas gift, had it installed and playing music as fast as the wrapping paper was removed. System syncs right to my vizio. Had the sound bar mounted beneath tv on wall. After watching movie with deep bass, noticed to hear a vibrating noise from the sub. Not too major of a problem, just not going to settle with a product if it has defaults. Returned to BB for a new system. Order on backorder, wasnt available in inventory. If you're seeking for a system budget friendly and good quality, this is a good choice to begin with.

It feels like you're sitting in the movie theater! There's different settings for movies, sports & music. Also, an app for your phone to blue tooth your music to the soundbar. Price is right and great sound!

If you're looking for a beginner sound bar with excellent quality and price- this is your baby! Its easy to set up, easy to sync bluetooth, and a great product.

I spent an hour in the store listening to all the different sound bars. I was convinced that I needed to spend $300 or more to get the sound that I wanted. In the store every sound bar under that price sounded terrible. My frugal side won over though and I took a gamble on this LG sound bar. Once I hooked it up at home I was shocked at how much better it sounded. I wish it had a diming option for the display because it is a little distracting while watching tv in the dark. I also wish it had two more speakers located in the center of the bar like the higher end units. Bottom line is that for $179 this system sounds great! I would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

I am very happy with the purchase of this lg sound bar. It was easy to set up and the sound quality is great. The bass sounds nice and loud and when I hook it up to my phone the music sounds great. Also about a week after I bought it the price went down and best buy refunded me the difference, for the two times the price went down. Very pleased with my purchase and best buy customer service.

This is my first sound bar. I was replacing a Blu-Ray surround sound system that had to be replaced because the player stopped playing blu-Ray. Due to financial concerns and being new to this type of product, I knew I did not want to get a higher end sound bar. I like this LG soundbar. It literally took less than five minutes from box to usability. While I am still getting used to not having the surround sound, I am p,eased with my purchase. The sound is crisp and even without too much bass or echo. I think I made a good purchase, and my research shows that LG is a quality brand.

Very surprised at how awsome this is. Great for movies, music, or game consoles and optical cable and remote are included. Easy phone pairing for bluetooth. No issues with the wireless subwooer either and for the price, why not.

Very easy setup...blue tooth pairing is good. If you have surround this isn't necessary but if you don't it's a big upgrade from the tv sound.
