I was so blown away when I received this monitor! It’s so worth it so GET IT NOW! I couldn’t stop staring when it first arrived. I’m a gamer and it took my graphics to another level. This monitor always works well with my Mac mini

I got this to work with my new Mac mini that I got for Christmas. Going to law school in August, I wanted something which was extremely clear and going to be seamlessly compatible with all my other apple technology and I got my wish with this machine. I love the look of it. It's just the right size, not too big, not too small. The metal frame at the bottom not only keeps it sturdy in place, but it also looks really clean and pairs beautifully with the Mac mini on my desk. It is fast and easy to set up, the quality is fantastic, and I absolutely love that it is able to even automatically adjust the brightness for the room conditions just like my MacBook Pro does, as well as harness the power of the True Tone feature. I went to Best Buy today and looking at the Apple retina displays on the iMacs present in the store, I would definitely say that this screen bests most of the iMacs in clarity and precision. Highly recommend for other Mac mini owners. However, it is expensive as heck lol--but I say worth it.

A bit pricey but great to use with a MacBook Pro. I use two for a dual setup. One cable into the laptop and your good to go. Also increases the amount of usb c ports available Picture is very nice, upgrading from a 1080p display. Onboard speakers aren’t bad either. Also works with my windows laptop.

We own quite a few Mac computers and have struggled to find a secondary display that will not flicker or cause restart issues on our Macs. If you are experiencing this, buy this monitor now! Once attaching this to our computers (we use both iMacs and Macbooks), we have not noticed a single glitch or delay. While it is a bit on the pricier side, I will say that we noticed right away that this monitor was not the normal, run-of-the-mill monitor. It has an incredible high-quality build, amazing picture quality and clarity, and more than just a monitor, it provides us with additional, much needed USB-C slots.

Great image and easy to use. Just plug and play. Immediately recognized by my Mac and settings were optimized automatically.

Great monitor to go with my MacBook Pro easy to use but it is a little pricey I wish they would have added an hdmi connection as well

best best monitor ever. the only monitor that works with MacBook pro's Retina display. easy to assemble - really just one plug. I love that the thunderbolt charges my MacBook/surface pro while im using it. the price is on the expensive side, but it very much worth it. the monitor can tilt up and down, and the stand can be lowered and raised. the quality is excellent and I bought for two reasons and these two reasons are fulfilled by this monitor. charges my MacBook/surface pro while I use it and the display is sharp!

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. display! I am a woman of a certain age and that age is where one needs reading glasses. I've been a Mac gal for a long time and just upgraded my MacBook Pro to the 16". I also had a Mac that had a larger display obviously but traded that in with the older MacBook to upgrade. The thought entered my mind to upgrade both computers but I saw this monitor and decided I didn't need to. Somebody was making a Thunderbolt display now and it is about time! Plug in the included Thunderbolt, open the display settings to have the screen order the way I wanted and that was it. It took longer to open the carton than it did to set up and I am the last person who would call themselves 'tech savvy'. The brightness, the resolution, everything is perfection. It is expensive for a monitor but as other people who have bought it say...it IS worth every penny.

Needed a monitor to use my Mac Book Air at home.Bought the $200 LG 24" Full HD, which lacked clearness and returned it. Then bought the $400 LG 24" IPS 4K UHD, which had better clarity but lacked brightness. Learned a lot about "nits" and it basically had half the brightness of the Mac Book Air so it was returned. Decided on this LG Ultrafine 24" IPS LED UHD. Excellent screen, perfect match for Mac products. Its basically a 24" retina display. The Thunderbolt ports are great. One cable from the back of the monitor provides both input to the screen and simultaneously charges the laptop. Keeps the second port on the laptop free to plug in printers and external drives. I know its expensive compared to others, but frankly its worth it.

The screen is perfect for my needs and has worked with no incidents for my Mac Mini M1 and and mac laptop. I wish there was a way to connect monitor to other sources other than USBc/ Thunderbolt 3 but I went in with knowing that. If you need something more flexible that can connect windows laptops or gaming systems this might not be the best option for you but there are some third party products that may work but are costly and not guaranteed so use at your own risk. The color and brightness has been perfect for my needs both work purposes and photo editing. You do need to buy separate webcam if needed so take that into consideration as well. Speakers are loud enough and sound good for my needs but will need speakers if you louder and better sounds.

I'm a designer so I needed a 4k monitor. This LG monitor was a great buy since it gives me the extra space I need but also charges up my MacBook pro 15. It frees up a USB c port for other things which is really nice. I also like the design. Utilitarian and simple. I don't need some weird stand or super slim bezels or shiny IPS.

This monitor is absolutely AMAZING!!! Just to clarify for anyone wondering, it has TWO Thunderbolt 3 Host ports, TWO of them!! That means you can hook up two computers to the monitor! I have my Mac Mini M1 and my Lenovo T495 both connected to it, and it works beautiful on both my Mac and my windows PC! No issues connecting at all! This is the only monitor that I have found with two thunderbolt host ports, do not pass up on this! It cuts down on cables, as with other computers you would need an HDMI, plus a USB, and a charging cable. With this monitor all you need is a thunderbolt or usb-c cable!!

Got this monitor as an open-box item, with a (excellent) condition description. And that it was! This monitor had to be made with the Mac mini in mind. It had everything I was looking for in a monitor for my Mac mini. I've never bought such a pricey open-box item. But this monitor was an exception. I couldn't find it anywhere else, but at an Apple store. Which I didn't want to pay full price for. Hence, the open-box option. Apple seems to have an exclusive deal with LG for this monitor. Maybe that's why it was sold out everywhere I searched, except at Apple. I guess everyone who may have bought the Mac mini, also decided to buy this monitor. Overall, I am satisfied with this excellent monitor purchase.

Very simple connection not having to use any adapters. Power cable and Thunderbolt and that's it. Integrates with my MacBook Pro without any issues. The screen resolution and color is superb.

Purchased to use with my MacBook Pro. Display and setup is simple. Picture quality is great. Also has speakers.

I had the 21.5” imac, bought the Mac studio and needed a monitor. An extra $1000 for the studio display was a hard pill to swallow given how much I spent on the Mac studio. This also worked right out of the box with no problems, so it’s good enough for me.

Excellent, crisp text and super resolution on images. I purchased this monitor because the thunderbolt ports power and charge my iPad Pro. Also performs great with the Mac m1 mini, again, connected via the thunderbolt port. Also has two usb-c 4 ports.

Love it! So minimalistic with my Mac mini. I love hope my desk looks so clean. I love the large crisp text. Using for online school and watching the occasional movie and it shines bright! So glad I went this route instead of iMac!

This appears to be the same Thunderbolt monitor sold by Apple. I like the seamless connectivity between the mac Mini M1 and LG monitor. As of now, the Mac Mini M1 and LG monitor appear to be the M1 alternative to the iMac. The monitor can be easily adjusted for height and tilt, which adds functionality for users preferring different physical setups. I had purchased a cheaper monitor for the Mac Mini M1, but after frustration maintaining HDMI connectivity I returned that monitor and purchased the LG Thunderbolt. Even though the LG was twice the price, the iMac alternative plug-and-play features were worth the cost difference. In fact, the monitor interfaces so seamlessly with the Mac Mini M1 I don’t think anymore about having separate units. I have been able to clear additional desk space by placing the Mac Mini M1 and external hard drives on a shelf below my desk. I was worried about the Thunderbolt and power cables being long enough for my setup, but no problem!
