Customers often highlight the large screen size and crisp image quality, with many praising the impressive resolution and clarity. The included remote and decent built-in speakers also receive positive feedback. However, some customers mention the monitor's weight as a potential drawback.

Super satisfied with this monitor. I wanted a really big 4K monitor so I could clearly display a large amount of historical chart data during the trading day (multiple days worth of small-time frame data), and this monitor more than fits the bill. I chose it over a curved screen monitor because it has a lot more rows of resolution for displaying charts and indicators, or viewing many lines of code without having to scroll while programming. It also allows me to sit at a comfortable distance from the screen and not have to lean in to see both the big picture and small detail. One trick to making everything look fantastic was to set the Scale of text, apps, etc. to 100% instead of the Windows default 150% for 4K monitors (this setting is under the Display tab in Windows Settings).
I've got the monitor hooked up to two computers and the remote makes switching easy. It's nice having built-in speakers and a head-phone jack. There are 4 HDMI inputs, a Display Port input, and a USB C input and 2 USB 3.0 outputs.
My older 27in 4K is to the right in the pictures, and definitely seems small after this upgrade.

Really great monitor and the presets for HDR and stuff really made it shine. I previously got some 27" 4k monitors because I wanted to maximize my workspace but at 4k the font was unreadable. the 43" is JUST enough to make everything readable. I purchased this LG and the Samsung to compare because of the pros and cons of the VA type of display the Samsung and the IPS type for this LG. After reading about both style I did see the lack of black in IPS and more faded viewing angles at the edges of the monitor. If I didn't need to see all the font this would be a great choice or even if you wanted to scale down the resolution. Would make a great monitor for most other things like gaming as it is very bright and vibrant or watching movies etc. I almost kept this one instead of the Samsung because the lack of brightness even with contrast and brightness all the way up. Last thing I did on the Samsung was turn "Game Mode" On and it was the perfect brightness, clarity and and Black color I wanted. In my pics the LG is on the right and Samsung on the left.

I bought this to replace 2 - 20" for a work-at-home setup. I have had this monitor for 2 years and have had no complaints. The 4k resolution is amazing when doing CAD. I put it on a Heavy Duty Monitor Arm Desk Mounts. This monitor has many features that I am not using since it is solely used for work. It comes standard with the LG split screen, my most used feature. I can have 4 screens on "one screen"

Image is fantastic for all, but the professional graphic accuracy work. Great anyone who wants a really large display. I use for prudctivity work and it offers tons of spce to work on. Works perfectly stable on my M1 Mac mini. There are 4 inputs, but only two offer 4k/60FPS unfortunately the other two are 4k/30fps. Kinda lame. Having a remote is a lofe saver as I need the monitor a bit furthar away due to its size. Now for my biggest complaint and that is the weight. It is seriously double the weight of LG's 40" ultrwide display. Maybe because of it's four direct inputs that allow for Split View of four separate computers. Yes, you can have unto four split screens directly from this display. Maybe those power inputs add weight, but either way this is one heavy display, 40lbs heavy. Wowza! I got it on sale for $450, regular price is even a grood price compared to other less featured displays.

I have only had the monitor for a couple of weeks but I am very happy with my purchase so far. I really like the PBP/PIP abilities and the numerous available inputs. Also, the included remote makes navigating all the functions a cinch. A must have for WFH or for those wishing to switch from using multiple monitors.

Excellent monitor to replace dual monitors, using with 2018 Mac mini. Setup was straightforward, love the remote and included speakers which are decent. BB price was better than a similar monitor from Dell.

I've had this monitor for a year and still love it. I work from home so this acts as my work monitor during the day and then TV at night. It's large enough that I can split it into 4 21-inch screens.

Bought this to replace 2 - 24" and 1 - 27" display setup that I had in my home office. Very happy with it so far. Hooked up a 4k fire stick and the pip option is pretty nice when multitasking. Perfect for my set up since wit will also double as a screen in our guest room. Color seems to be accurate. I use it for photo editing, data processing, CAD, and streaming video. Only flaw i have noticed is that the edges aren't viewable from all angles but not that big of a deal.

Monitor Flickering and Turning Off After a Year

It's been a year since I bought my LG UltraFine 43" 4K UHD 75Hz monitor from Best Buy. The issue isn’t with my PCs—I’ve tested multiple devices, and the problem persists. The monitor flickers, the image disappears and reappears, then it turns off and won't turn back on until the next day.

Awesome work monitor. Going 3 windows wide usually - Slack, browser, browser. Note, I have a relatively deep standing desk so it gives me reasonable distance from the screen.

Dead in less than 3 weeks

The LG 43" monitor I purchased lasted less than 3 weeks before suddenly dying completely while I was using my PC. (I appreciate Best Buy standing behind it and accepting my return, despite technically being slightly outside the return window.) Outside of that, there were about a half dozen pixels dead in the upper left of the screen, and the right edge of the screen was noticeably darker than the rest. I considered the flaws minor enough to overlook them, although the Dell 43" monitor I have replaced it with is definitely superior in many ways, albeit at a somewhat higher price.

This falls short of the reliability we aim to deliver with our products. We appreciate Best Buy's assistance in accepting your return, despite being slightly outside the return window.
We also take note of the concerns you raised about dead pixels in the upper left of the screen and the screen's noticeable darkness on the right edge. Your feedback is essential for us to make improvements and provide a better experience for our customers.

Love the size. More than enough to review two documents at once. So big I don't need my reading glasses.
Didn't realize at first that only HDMI ports 3 and 4 run at 60Hz, but 1 and 2 run at 30Hz. Much better at the higher rate. Nice that it also has DP and USB-C.
The remote is handy for on/off and changing between inputs on desktop and laptop dock. Speakers are pretty reasonable, not tinny.
The support base has a huge foot (13.5 x 10.5), and sticks out in back so far that the front face of the screen is actually 8.5 inches from the wall. Screen does tip forward and back, but not rotate side to side. Okay for my needs.
Makes my old 27-inch monitor look like a toy.

The monitor itself but don't assume it does what you think it does...it has a very good picture and the speakers that are built in are actually not bad at all. The stand is built very well and is sturdy and the remote was a nice addition to the monitor. The monitor has multiple inputs from multiple computers and the ability to split those separate computers.....BUT what it does not do well is easily allow the splitting up of 1 computer with 4 programs which is what it appears like your seeing in the photos but that's either 4 computers or it took a while to place those programs into position for the photo session. It's also not worth the price tag for this one.

Backlighting issues

The resolution and speakers keep it in competition with monitors, The 60mhs is at the low end, for monitors, but this is better than an UHD tv with gaming mode, 250.00 better is a maybe. A real weakness over other monitors is the stand. It's as heavy as crap and has no adjustment except a tilt. Finally, mine has backlighting issues on the left side new out of the box. The remote makes the setting adjustment and use a no-brainer. All that said, the additional vertical screen real estate is fantastic for coding and multi-tasking.

It's a great monitor. If you've never had a large one, you'll no doubt be amazed. It's actually good for gaming except for the 60hz refresh which does not bother me at all. Definitely superb for productivity and anyone with less than perfect eyesight. Try to get it on sale; I paid $450.
