My wife and I just purchased this case after have Otterbox defender cases on our previous phones... We thought we would try something different, however we found out different is not better.. 1. This case is much more expensive than the otter box. 2. much easier to text on the otter box due to a thicker and less resilient screen protector. 3. the covering over the thumb which allows for fingerprint recognition A. did not work very well and B. fell off after a week of use... My wife went back to Best Buy and picked up the Otterbox and could not be happier..

My biggest issue with this case is the sound. I couldn't hear anyone on the phone and their voice vibrated. I've been using an Otterbox Commuter and was looking for a more protective, lighter solution after the Commuter broke. The screen protector also was awful. It had so much air underneath I couldn't type. It's going back tomorrow.

The cover over my home button came off. Only had for 8 months.

With the encouragement of a Best Buy sales rep I spent $80 on a lifeproof case for my new iphone 5. Tested it as per instructions. Today it was dropped in the washing machine filled with water. Having grabbed it out quickly it was still filled with water. What I learned.. . LifeProof isn't life proof, in fact it's not even water proof AND after waiting 30 minutes on hold (with lifeproof) I found out from a customer service rep that the only thing they warranty is the case itself. Now a $15 case from walmart is warrantied if it breaks within 2 weeks! What did I spend $80 on? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The fine print is that you can buy an ADDITIONAL warranty for water but guess what that's only good on VERIZON they tell me. So again, what did I buy? What a piece of garbage. Don't waste your money.

i love my lifeproof iphone 5 fre case in black. do not buy the od green it is a loose fit for the screen and you get this bubble so sometimes when you tap the screen it is not responsive. you get this huge bump on the back of the case very annoying do not buy od green or yellow

I purchased this case today and am returning it because my charger is too big to fit in the port and I don't like that I have to use the headphone adapter to listen to music because my headphone jack is also too big to use.

I bought 3 of these through my verizon rep. 2 for the Iphone 5 and one for Iphone 5. You can not use the charger in the 4 with the case on. My case for the 5 broke within the first two.
