Was trying to fin my receipt to return product. Never had an issue with a life proof case until I got this one. Couldn’t even find a belt clip to go with this case either which is very disappointing. But, had to take case off phone bc I had to put a new SIMs card in it. Well, the rubber seal yeah that part came out and wouldn’t go back in, my Face ID wouldn’t work bc if it. Had a bunch of issues. And now it’s non refundable or returnable Great bc I wanted a full refund for a product that didn’t hold up to its standards like it had in the past. Not right paying that high of a price for something that craps out within the first few weeks of having it and won’t even let your front camera work properly. Also there’s these little dots all over the case that make like little squares. And didn’t keep out any dust or moisture. My screen was always fogging up, underneath the case that was sealed all the way around. I had had the case for a month yet. Didn’t get my new iPhone until January 6th 2021 and didn’t put the case on it until January 7th 2021. Here it is February 2nd 2021 and had the case on less then a month and had issues. And the return date is nothing past January 16 2021? Really? Don’t even get a 90 day warranty? That’s a lot of money for something that was junk and doesn’t work and you have very little time to return an item especially when you’ve been waiting on a new case to come in so you can protect your $1099 phone.

We bought the product yesterday and came with the torn box, open case, crushed rubber and missing accessory, we were very disappointed with service.

Inner gray rubber lining keeps coming off. Starting to believe that this item was opened and return to the shelf. That’s unsanitary as well. Probable won’t be buying much from Best Buy soon.

Someone who goes thru different cases. I consider myself and expert. Lifeproof cases have always been in my top 2. Love they changed the charge port from the flimsy closure. Have no issue with sound from speakers during phone calls or music. Of course it’s not going to be as loud as with no case buts that’s to be expected. Although they are pricey but for the protection that’s offered for a $1000+ phone. It’s well worth it to know what’s inside is protected. I would recommend. 4 stars in my opinion. Case is slippery and I wish it would come in more colors. But I’m overall satisfied.

Super easy to put on…. Didnt leak when i depth tested it… ive droped my 12pro max a few times and holding up well… only downside is i cant use my wireless charging station

Great case, very slim compared to others. I previously had an otter box. This case feels slimmer and easier to carry, compared to the other. The 2 cons of this case for me: 1. If you use Face ID, the case degrades the ability to utilize at a normal distance. 2. The case makes it hard for people on the other end to hear you. However I use Bluetooth most of the time. Overall, this has been a better case, and happy with the purchase. I would 100% buy again, and will stick with this case.

Like many others, I had issues with the Face ID right off the bat. Turns out there are two sticky circles on the inside of the case that disorient the camera just enough to throw it off. Just wipe/scratch the sticky circles off & Face ID started working perfectly. Also, the packing on the inside of the case was already detached from the back half of the case. This was rather annoying as this is the reason I’ve replaced FRe cases for subsequent phones in the past, as it can compromise the water proof aspect of the case. Not a huge fan of all the little dots across the screen, but if it prevent the “rainbow” effect from occurring (which I haven’t seen yet with this FRe) then so be it. Overall, I find it overpriced for the discrepancies that came with the case, but if properly manufactured/assembled, I wouldn’t want to use any other case. I’ll be returning this one in hopes of being sent a replacement with a properly secured packing.

Great case, life proof has always had great customer service. Only issues after a month of using is sometimes the screen gets smudged and the facial reading does not work. Wipe the top of the screen down and works just fine. Completely water proof.

Not worth the the price. Issues are the plastic screen gets scratched to easy from daily use almost gray color. Face recognition doesn’t always pick up. Dust and water does stay out but you have to clean in order to hear the person

It seems the quality of lifeproof goes down with each new case release. My last fre case was for the XS Max and I was fairly happy with it. For the 12 pro Max the case feels cheaper. Right out of the box I had to remove two dots on the screen to get Face ID to work. On top of that, the wireless charging is very degraded. I have three wireless chargers that always worked with my previous Fre cases. Now, one doesn’t work at all, the second works only if it’s positioned just right and the wireless charger in my car only works if I firmly press the phone into place a few times. The seams of the phone don’t seem to line up well either when the case is snapped together. I’d wait for another competitor if you’re looking for a waterproof or dust proof phone case.

Fits the 12 Pro Max perfectly. Please be aware, you cant have a screen protector on before putting this on because it doesnt sit well. It also doesnt take all your taps into account. Easy to install and has saved my phone several times from big falls.

Contrary to many other reviews here, this case fits perfectly and the Face ID works just fine. I will say I’m not a fan of the changes made to the mute switch and the lightning port cover on the iPhone 12 Pro Max version of this case. They both feel a little cheap. I also wish this case wasn’t so slippery. For the amount of money they are charging, would it be too much to ask for some type of grip feature on the edges and back of the case? That’s why I give this case only 3 out of 5 stars.

Love everything about this case, the only thing i wish would be better is the face recognition doesn't always work because of the protective screen. Still worth dealing with though because of how well it protects the phone!

Case provises excellent protection as advertised but is a bit pricey, but would rather spend the money on a good case than replace phone in case of an accident.

This is a great phone case despite any of the reviews you might read. We haven’t had a huge issue with the Face ID as much as others. Every now and then you may have to simply wipe the top of the phone with your finger just because of normal use build up like lint/dust etc and so with the camera being close to the top and close to the border of the case it has random trouble. Not a big deal to me though for the great full protection.

ok so I never really looked into expensive cases because seriously what can be so special about it. I LEARNED TODAY! My phone fell through 2 flights of steps onto concrete. The case has a lil knick on it....the phone....its spotless. No cracks no dents no ...it looks BRAND NEW!!!! (No I wasn't testing it out...my phones too expensive) BUT YES!!! Dropped it in the tub doing what I fuss at my kids about (Stop using the phone in the tub) Completely dry on the inside. :D PASSES WITH FLYING COLORS FOR MY APPROVAL!

The case really is nice the only reason I give it 4 stars is because it scratches easy on the screen protector and also it muffles the sound due to the built in screen.

Life proof is great! The protection given to your phone is amazing!

The Bad: Face ID didn’t work till I saw someone els had the same problem but he removed the plastic beads on the screen for it to work. The rubber seal Keeps on falling off when I have to remove my phone to Qi charge it because the case doesn’t let it do it. The mute switch on the case is to stiff can’t rotate it. The Good: no bubbles on the screen like the past.

Great fit. A little slippery. Face ID had issues. I had to remove the two “dots” by the front camera. That fixed the Face ID issues. So could be better.
