Works well. Easy to install iPhone in it. I water tested it first. No problem. Surprised how well the touch screen still works, even the fingerprint ID works as well as it did without the case. At least for my use, the sound level is fine. The case is always on my iPhone. Have yet to remove it. I've used it extensively in my kayak. It's been in my water shorts pocket while in water many times, and dropped it on concrete from my shirt pocket several times; all with no damage. Quality of photos is as good as the iPhone without the case. The only reason I gave it 4 stars: it needs a small loop, or something, so you can attach a laynard or spring cord to it to keep from losing it in the water.

Before I leaving for my Martha's Vinyard vacation with my 4 month old lab puppy I figured it be a good idea to put a good durable case on my iPhone 6. Well good thing I did! While we were in the boat crossing Chilmark Pond to get to the beach my phone fell into the water while trying to take a pic of my pup in his life preserver. I dove in after my phone. Could not find it. I took a chance and when looking again the next morning and there it was. Spent the night at the bottom of the pond and was dry as a bone. Love this case!

I love this case for many reasons. I don't have to worry when I take my phone to the beach / pool or when when I accidentally drop it. I know my phone is protected.

Bought my case in October 2015 and it's literally falling apart in March 2016. For $88 I had hoped it would last longer. The film that goes over the circle button came out so right there it's no longer safe from water or debris. The rubber around the charging port flaked off just from opening and closing the flap to charge my phone, plus there's a small piece of plastic in the same area that broke all together. So unhappy with the quality of my LifeProof Case.

Ok so finger print is hit or miss, taking screen shots no longer easy the case feels you just want to lock the screenwhen you press both buttons. Side button is harder to press as it has a thick layer over it, this means hit or miss on screenshots. Clip that closes and protects the charging port is very thin and with too many closes it chips away. Case always feels like it has not closed together firmly and seems to have a tiny yet fearful opening. For me you can see air pockets between the glass and screen cover. Can not win if you get Fre VS. NUUD with NUUD you glass gets scracthes with Fre air pockets. Its a 649.99 phone we are trying to protect and LifeProof needs to up the game each year with a better release then the previous. This is why we wait for new phones, cases the most important cover of our phone also needs yearly upgrading. This case feels like the beta model I got many years ago from LifeProof. Ending comment it is thin and elegant to look at.

IPhone 6 was bought last Sept. Only available case at that time, with sufficient protection was the Otter Box, which was not waterproof. Many months after IP6 rollout Lifeproof finally comes out with a compatible WATERPROOF case. Bought on sale, and I'm pleased with the build, screen protection, and the fact that it's fairly compact. Mostly though I needed a waterproof case, or I would not be rewarding mediocrity when buying from a company that takes 8-10 months after phones on shelves to provide compatible cases.

I've always heard great things about the LifeProof Case and it does do what it says, it does protect the phone and allows the phone to go under water; however, with the volume turned up as loud as it will go I still cannot hear the other person talking. I have very good hearing and I have to ask people to repeat things all the time so when I took it off, it solved the problem. This made me very upset when I spent so much money on an iPhone cover!

I always have my lifeproof on my iPhone. I also take it snorkeling with me. It's amazing when my nieces throw it across the room. This case is a game changer in so many levels.

Lifeproof is the best case out there. Attractive, light, slim, waterproof......except for the high price this item would be a 5!

Very good case a little pricy as you can imagine it's very easy to remove from one corner with a quarter per the instructions will not work with the tempered glass screen protector that is my only downfall of this case overall very good case 4 stars because I had to remove my tempered glass screen protector going to try it out for the 30 days after that I will decide whether I want to keep this case or maybe exchange it for one of the new colors that's coming out either way it's a very good case waterproof drop proof everything else. Very light case better than the Trident OtterBox or any of the other high-end protective case I would recommend this over all the other ones

I had an otter box which was amazing when it dropped , nothing happened to my iPhone 6 . Until my one year old grabed it and dropped in in the toilet . :-( phone died . Had to purchase a new one . Ugg. Purchased this life proof case. It had a a sleek design , better than the otter box, light weight , drop proof, has a screen protector (unlike one of the other models) and its water proof!!! I can wash my phone easily. I still get a little nervous it might get wet so I take precaution but it is secure. My one year old handles it and I don't have to worry about him putting his mouth on it and making my phone die from spit either lol. On drawback is the cover over the charging port is slightly loosing a seal. I haven't retested it to see if water escapes in but I think it's fine cuz it still clicks and locks tight. You can just see the little rubber around the edge when you open it is a little worn. It's a 4 star because of that and because they don't have a lot more color or design options. Only black white black red and blue. I have red. Wanted purple. Oh and it's 70$ on sale. But that's cheaper than buying a new phone after its damaged. Great purchase. Otters worked when I didn't have a child. Now this one is imperative.

This case is absolutely amazing. I was able to text in the snow the other day without being worried about my phone getting water damaged. The ottabox is usually bulky, but this phone case is very slim but very protective. I cook/bake for a living now I am able to answer my phone and clean it off with out worries while I'm working.

Total water proof. Performed test, and have other friends who have repeatedly dropped their Iphones in water, ice, mud, you name it, and this product NEVER fails! However, I have only given it four stars due to the fact that the built in screen protector makes the fingerprint feature difficult to use. I recently switched to the Nuud for this reason, and I am in love, as it is used without the protective plastic screen, allowing for the touch ID to be used much more perfectly, and I am not afraid of breaking my glass at all. The design of the case is such that there is more than adequate protection, and barring a very hard direct diagonal drop onto a corner of a table or such, I have every faith that my phone will be fully protected, in both cases.

This case is great if you know what you're getting into. The case protects the phone very well, and can handle just about everything. A family member ran over his iPhone 6 and the only damage was a small crack on the screen - pretty impressive for the car vs. iPhone 6 matchup. This case is a must have if you are around water often. It's submersible for an hour, which makes it perfect for a pool/beach day. Overall, I'm not sure that there is a more versatile case out there. That being said, be aware of the inconveniences. The required headphone adapter (included) can be a pain for daily use. Also, the headphone adapters aren't sold in stores. 3rd party adapters are available via Amazon or eBay, but if you contact Lifeproof, they will ship a replacement adapter for free. Other than that, the buttons take some getting used to, and the sound quality of the phone's external speaker isn't as great (which makes sense with a completely water-tight phone). I would recommend, but consider if the few inconveniences make the price worth it for your needs.

I bought this case because I ran into a little accident with my iPhone so I decided to place my replacement iPhone into a more protective case. I noticed this case was lots slimmer than Otterbox and decided to try it out. PERFECT! Slim and completely sealed all around. It protects it from the elements and I have dropped my phone twice with this baby and all it does is bounce like a rubber ball with no damage or effect to the phone. I would give it 5 star if it wasnt for the fact that having the phone completely sealed and waterproof makes speakerphone feature sound muffled and earphone is completely covered by the waterproof screen so I have to press phone harder to my ear to listen better. Overall, amazing phone case.

This is a really cool case. The peace of mind it gives me protecting my phone from dirt and water especially is worth the price. It's a fairly slim case as well. So it doesn't feel bulky in my pocket. One of the coolest things is that I can take video and photos underwater! Can't wait to use this at the pool this summer with my kids. On the downside, some speaker and phone mic sound quality is diminished to get the waterproofing. When the volume is turned up there is a rattle from the case. People I've talked to on the phone say that I sound a little distant. Overall, I like the case and am happy that I purchased it. I like that I can listen to music in the shower. Kind of cool.

Positives: pretty much waterproof, very thin, fits in pocket fairly easily, fits (if you position it right) in Otterbox belt clip Negatives: no belt clip, muffles sound, price is stupid expensive Haven't dunked the phone underwater so can't comment on whether it's really waterproof.

Initially bought a lifeproof case with my iPhone 5 which saved it from getting crushed after being ran over. That being said I knew the choice for my iPhone 6 would be this case as well. Did not even touch the phone the day that I got it, took it out of the packaging with the plastic attached and straight into the case and sealed without a worry in the world. Only thing was that it was a little tricky to completely seal the first time but after opening it to clean here and there isn't no longer an issue to reconnect two sides back together. Great investment for phones especially with the protection of weight (unknown amounts), cold temperatures, water, heat, and dropping accidents. Definitely the first choice for all my future phones and possibly any other appliances this company makes cases for.

Bought this item after reading the reviews on how great it protects your phone. Was a little hesitant on buying due to reviews stating the sound of the phone becomes muffled but had no problems whatsoever. Great buy especially if you drop your phone a lot. The only thing I dislike about this case is that if you want to use other chargers or headphones other then the original and that are a bit bigger you will have to take the case off in order for them to fit. The holes on the case are smaller and won't let them fit. Other then this minor issue the case is great!

the protection factor overall is superior / better than Otterbox in my opinion. However there are a few things that ultimately made me have to return it. The first is the headphone extension piece, the port is of alright size so connecting is was not the issue, but having to screw it in made my two way headphone cable become tangled / twisted up every time. It also gets annoying having to unscrew the cap over port then screw it back into place after done listening to music. I listen to music on my phone every time I am in my car so it was quite a bother to do that. The 2nd thing is the port for charging only allows for the original iPhone cable to fit, I bought / returned 3 others that were just a hair bigger than original but it was a no go. The 3rd issue is the built in screen protector would not stay flat against screen so I always had numerous pockets of air obscuring the view of my screen. Number 4 is it is not hard to put on but to get off had me feeling like I was going to bend my iPhone 6, and because of the aforementioned trapped air it was often that I was taking case off and on, very tough to open case in general. So if it's strictly protection / waterproofing you are after ( I did not test the waterproof feature as it clearly states if your device gets ruined they are not responsible but I have had a few friends use it underwater in a pool and their iPhones were not damaged ) then this case is perfect for you. But if you enjoy using headphones / listening to music via your phone and car stereo, have issues with disliking air pockets, no longer own an original iPhone lightning tip charger, have a fear of water, or will be taking phone case off frequently for any reason I would recommend getting something else...plus let's be realistic...$80.00 flippin dollars for a phone case...how about NO!
