This is a great LED light that has several different settings, including Alexa integration to my smart home. Download LIFX app, plug in the bulb and it quickly pairs with Alexa. I love being able to control my lights with my voice and these are no exception. Lots of different brightness settings and eco-friendly. LIFX app allows you to choose Flicker, random, Music Visualizer, Strobe, Random, or Spooky. For some reason strobe is not working for me. They are dimmable and color temp can be adjusted from 1500K (Candlelight) to 6500K(Bright Daylight). I think this would be best as a secondary/background light, not the primary light for a room. Works great for me with my new born, I can set different brightness by Alexa voice command depending on my baby's mood. That is kinda cool. P.S. I love the packaging Highly recommend!

I dont really have much use for the changing color hue, but in any setting this light gives off just the right amount of light.

I bought a few of these bulbs mostly so I wouldn't have to get out of bed to turn off the light, but they've been way more useful than that. Now, our light shifts in color temperature and brightness throughout the day (automatically) so we are more ready for sleep at the end of the day. It also makes it easy to match the color temperature of any other light in the room. These bulbs were affordable, easy to set up, and work great with the build in apps for both iOS and Android family members.

    Pick Your Poison

So the biggest issue with smarthome lights is finding which brand to buy. Once you start purchasing from a brand you are really trapped inside of their ecosystem. Unless you want to download like 4 or 5 different applications on your smartphone to be able to set each of them up. The two best brands in smarthome bulbs are LIFX and Phillips Hue, and that is just a fact. They have a wider range of products with a wider range of abilities and functions that are tied to them. In all honesty, you can't go wrong with either of those brands. I chose LIFX because I really enjoy their phone application and setup process. It is extremely easy to use and is easily tied in with apple home kit on iPhone. Furthermore, the LIFX bulbs provide great lighting with a variety of color settings to set any kind of mood or match any other lighting that you might have in that room currently. I also have my bulbs integrated with amazon Alexa which was a super simple process. Pick your poison buyer, because once you start purchasing these great bulbs, it will be hard to ever go back to the normal ones.

A Pretty Good Light, But Not Necessarily for Me

My purpose in buying this light was to get a sunrise alarm clock. My opinions have been mixed on LIFX as a whole, but this light has worked pretty well for what I need. I have unfortunately disabled the sunrise to sunset schedule because I found that my schedule never seemed to work out for it. At this point, it doesn’t have a lot of functionality for me, but it is still a pretty good smart light!

Excellent Smart Bulb w/o Need For A Hub

Good smart bulb with various color temperatures (very warm to very cool) available, but the best feature is its ability to be controlled wirelessly through Wi-Fi without the need for a wireless hub. You can control it directly through the Lifx app, or through Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant (although the Lifx app gives finer control over color temperature, along with the ability to group lights by location). Not sure how your Wi-Fi network would behave if you had a whole house of them on it, but I haven't noticed any network issues with the two I have.

First brand of smart bulbs I purchased. very nicely packaged and everything is pretty easy to set up. really liked the fact that you didn't need a hub to connect the bulbs like the philips hue bulbs. my only complaint is that I didn't seem to find a compatible dimmer switch and the Flic button seems to have horrible reviews. I like having a button or switch next to my bed so for that reason I will be trying out the hue bulbs in combination with the dimmer switch that they provide. nice bulbs just didn't meet all my criteria.

This bulb is incredible and at a fantastic price point. I have tried other smart bulbs around the same price but haven't ever got them to work. Google Assistant picked it up right away. I plan on getting more of these. We didn't want the crazy color lights that are very expensive but we did want versatility in color temperature and dimming. It gets plenty bright and also dims way down. The Candlelight mode in the app makes it flicker and my lantern-style lamps really do look like they have a candle in them.

Love the color variety available with this lights, the offer a wide range of color and dimming options. The connectivity app is not great but works well enough to get things just the way you want them. Connect them to Alexa and on and off are just a command away, even while your away!! Very happy with my purchase, and I expect to get more lights for my home.

The Lifx tunable bulbs are easy to set up and use. They work great with smartthings. The tunable feature is worth the extra money over the straight white lights, whereas I'm still not sure when the full color changing lights will really be necessary. The ability to change white spectrum though is really nice at different times of day.

Nice light bulb to pair with google home. However the android app crashes so it causes problems when setting up. Luckily it works well with apple. The light bulb turns on sometimes by itself it your wifi is not fast or connection is not strong enough.

This is a good product, I like the warm colors and the ease of control from my iPhone and integration with Alexa. I did think it had a wider range of colors rather than just white to warm orange. However being dimmable makes this a very nice product and provides comfort in an all white room.

I didn't think I'd use the color bulb but I have different color temperature lights in different rooms so I bought these day-dusk ones to match the adjacent rooms in different scenarios. The bulbs setup easily and stay connected. Haven't had any issues yet. The app is great. Integrated with Google Home.

I was looking to add to my Hue system and saw Lifx Day & Dust. Im glad I gave them a try. Connected Bulbs with amber, white, and blue tones. Works with Alexa, Google Home, and Home Kit all without a hub. The app is simple, easy to set up, with full customization. This is a major go!

I started with 2 of the LIFX 1100 lumen full color bulbs a few years ago and love them, so when these were available on sale I knew they would be a great addition. I rarely use the full color feature of the original bulbs so these fill a need in other areas of my home. I like that they integrate with HomeKit too. Some folks complain about WiFi disconnects and other issues with the LIFX bulbs and truthfully I've had occasional issues after a power outage but most of the time they reconnect seamlessly and if not it doesn't take much effort to reconnect. I like having the options of scheduling on/off times and scenes for various situations as well. All in all, very happy with the LIFX line of bulbs.

This lightbulb is so easy to install! You have so many options to choose from(color & temperature) and you can get different scenes with it too. Works great on my apple homekit. I really recommend it.
