Needed a wifi router for when I moved into my dorm room. This was the best bang for buck router I could find. It gives you the ability to switch frequencies from a shorter to wider range. This is useful if you want faster spends in a lower range or sacrifice speed for range. Once I got everything set up I was able to hit over 1 gigabit/sec download. Would buy again.

We purchased the AC1750 to provide better coverage and signal strength for our two story home. It fulfilled our expectations, and we now stream successfully on three widely separated smart TVs, as well as having no problems with internet access on several devices, all (so far) without the need for any signal boosters. We simultaneously contracted with a new fixed wireless service provider. We attempted to use an existing router with poor results, hence the AC1750, which installed and set up quite easily.

I originally purchased the Netgear 5G for almost $229! That one was great for the first 3 months...after that it use to drop me off the net! Even being connected with Cat6 cable. So, I had no choice but to buy another router. Decided on this Linksys. Decent money and so far...it works great! I have Comcast's xFi 1GB internet and this thing flies! I make my money being a programmer and all of my work is online. Great buy!

I purchased this router at Best Buy while on sale to replace my old router. The set-up was quick and easy. Because of the way my cable system is set-up, the router has to be placed on one end of my 1200 sq. ft. townhouse rather than a central location. This router has no problem reaching the other end of my house and out onto my patio. I'm very pleased with this router's performance and consider it to be an excellent value.

I purchased this to replace a Netgear router that died after a couple year's use. The Linksys has a stronger signal. It doesn't need a repeater in my home, like the older one did. It also switches automatically between bands, which is handy. Maybe because of that, it is a bit faster.

Bought to replace another router that died. Definitely an improvement in speed and a slight one in range. Been using it for a year and is holding up very well. Does appear to run a bit warmer than previous routers I've owned in the past. Not sure what the issue is though.

This router is very easy to set up there’s a login and a password if you pick manually set up this router in the settings. There are so many routers now that are being sold that force you to have an app on your phone before you can even set them up they don’t allow you to login via the default IP address. This router has the standard router IP default address and once you’re logged in the username and password is on a decal on the bottom and it’s super easy to set up. The overall performance for a small 1400 square-foot home it works just fine. Good price for a simple home router a little bit of knowledge in the technical side is necessary

If you have spectrum as your internet provider you might want to invest on this product! It made my speeds twice as fast no lags in multiple devices or and ps4 smart tv. I'm now able to play my games and watch videos with no lag. Before I puechased the new router I was always getting kicked out the internet. And yes the signal reaches blocks away. So if you have a big property this unit would be perfect for you.
Is not the cheapest or the most expensive but it does a great job. Would buy again and highly recommend!

This lLinksys Router was easy to setup and worked very well in a small apartment. The price was excellent for what it does. Seems to be an upgrade from the router that you get from Spectrum. Upload and download speeds exceeded the nominal speeds.
5 and 2.4 GHz channels. Also provides functionality for guest network.

Great router, it works as it supposed to work. Unfortunately i have Spectrum and their service is awful... so from time to time i will have to "reset" the system but it has nothing to do with the router... it is purely Spectrum.
App is very easy to use, and you are able to reset it remotely from everywhere, so that works great when you are not home.
Range is really good as well. 2000+ sq ft home.

My old router just was not fast enough to handle my needs anymore. But at 76, I did not feel the need to spend the money for an over the top router that my cable couldn't supply the signal for anyway, so I asked the clerk for his assistance. This was the router that he recommended and it certainly did the trick. Over the years I have had numerous Linksys products, with great satisfaction, so the purchase was a no-brainer.

Linksys is known for quality products and this dual band router is no exception. If you're using a lot of wireless devices at home then this is a must own. Using the 5 gigahertz channel offers a stronger signal for better connection and less interference. The app included with this makes setup a breeze plus this model allows you to program priorities for your wireless spectrum.
