Setup was easy range is great goes through walls as advertised had a small problem with connections dropping to my cell but I got that resolved. Just prioritize devices based on their bandwith demands and proximity with the dual channels and you'll be good to go.

My parents wanted a router that had a signal strong enough to reach there home office. It’s a separate building and cell coverage is poor. This router was easy too setup and allows them more coverage and is faster than the previous one they had.

I replaced an older Linksys that finally died. This one is great! I get about 70 mbps over wifi! Setup was easy for me, especially since it uses the same UI as the last one.

Continues high speed connection with a nice big hotspot range that is not found among its rival. Perfect for those people planning to purchase the RED from GCI, you will surely see the 1Gig download speed you are asking for, given that all specifications are met. Viewing websites will be instantaneous! Playing online games eliminates slow loading times. Downloading hours worth of movies will turn into minutes, sometimes even seconds! Streaming different shows eliminates buffering. Definitely a huge plus to your gadgetry!

I've had this router for a couple months and wifi has been perfect. This replaced a 10 year old Linksys router I kept having to reboot because I kept losing wifi on my work laptop and tablet. Wifi was going out 5 times a day. This new router is awesome. You can set up a 5 GHz connection and 2.4 GHz connection separatelyor together. I have my laptop, tv, and phone on 5 GHz band and everything else on 2.4 band. Its the same password to connect, but you can select either. You also have an option to set them up as one, together, and it will provide the strongest signal to your devices. My upload and download speeds are much faster. I was hoping this would be a great router and it is. I have an 1800 sq ft house with 160p sq foot basement and my 3 security cameras, tablets, phones , tvs, computers all work perfectly at the same time. Well worth the money for me! And, I LOVE the phone app where I can see whats connected, I can set up a guest password, and I can lock peolle out if needes. Pretty awesome.

I've always used Linksys routers ever since I created my home network years ago. When I signed up for my cable company's higher internet package it was my router that needed an upgrade as well. I stayed within the Linksys family and chose the LINKSYS MAX-STREAM AC1750 MU-MIMO Gigabit Wi-Fi Router. I now experience the speeds that my internet plan said I could. It was so very easy to setup and I can easily keep an eye on my router with the phone app, as well.

Good upgrade from EA3500

I received this router in exchange for my honest review.
Set up is super easy and simple. Took me less than 5 minutes to switch out my older ea3500 and get this online. Tested the speeds at varying distance from the router, and it is pretty decent, test download speed of 116 Mbps close to the router and 114 Mbps about 20 ft from the router. I live in an apartment that is about 1200 Sq. ft. My home network includes two mac book pro's and iPad 3, 2 iPhone6, Apple tv, Xbox, Chromecast and AirPrint enabled printer. It maintains seamless connectivity with all devices, and the router supports remote app control. It's a big size router, but definitely worth the upgrade.

I have another router like this one that has proven itself to be fast with no problems handling numerous devices. I had a problem setting the first one up connected via Ethernet cable to my laptop. Took a call to support and about an hour of fooling around. The second router I setup by first installing the app and then using the app for setup. Turned a three star router into a five star router. I recommend this to anyone who uses the app to do setup.

Knew very little about wifi routers and was concerned this unit might have issues with my cable modem. I've only had to restart the router once in several months and that was due to my cable service, which is extremely fast, having gone down temporarily.
Super fast Wi-Fi access - almost no loss when compared to ethernet. More than adequate for the five devices I have logged on.

Our devices were losing connection to WiFi on our 6 year old WiFi. This router was suggested by a friend who works in IT. The speed we are receiving on WiFi is better then what i was getting on desktop connected with an Ethernet cable to the old router. The range is also awesome on this router. We have 14 devices connected to it and don't have a problem.

My New Favorite Router

This router just replaced my Linksys/Cisco EA4500 that I was using and I have to say that I am more than pleased with this router. There are several factors that push me to give it a high rating:
∙ Excellent packaging: The way the unit was packed in the box with the power supply kept it protected and safe.
∙ Quick Start: The connection and setup were quite simple. Having a preset SSID and Password really simplify the connection and setup.
∙ The Unit: This router was larger than I expected and looks and feels well built. It has much better ventilation than my EA Series and it stays cool. As you can see in the picture, I have it on a small laptop cooler, as the EA would get quite warm and this one running for 5 days straight still is cold to the touch.
∙ Coverage: The Wi-Fi coverage is nothing short of excellent, especially with the unit in the basement office. Prior to this unit, I had to use a repeater to get good coverage on the second floor, specifically with 5Ghz. With this it covers pretty well as I have not reconnected the repeater. With the 2.4GHz, I can reach reach all the way outside to the end of the property which is about 100fft away without losing much signal.
∙ Configuration: Although very similar to the older unit, the functionality is much better. Having a second "free" DDNS option is very welcomed. It supports DynDNS and No-IP. Although I like DynDNS, it is nice to have an alternate option. The Port forward options also seem to work better than the EA as I was having a problem with a certain function and it worked perfect on this unit.
∙ Speed: I was very surprised at how my faster and more stable the Wi-Fi is with unit. I have a PC on the first floor with a 5GHz wireless adapter and it had a mediocre signal and speed. With only changing to the new router, the signal and speed went from 100-120mbps to a solid 350mbps, My son plays Minecraft on this and it operates much better now.
As for the operation and reliability so far, this has been an excellent router. In the five days it has been running, there has not been a single issue and I also have not had to reset my iPhone to stay connected. I received this router a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback.. If I had bought this router, the feedback would be the same. I can honestly say that it is my new favorite router. If you are thinking about getting a new one, this might become your new favorite one also.

I had an n-class router and reasonably fast internet speed via cable. With 2 TVs watching the Thunder games, one of them was almost unwatchable with the buffering and actual blank-outs. I could watch streamed movies with only one TV involved with pretty good success. This new Linksys ac router seems to have eliminated those problems completely.

I was tired of terrible speeds from my ISP's router, I was getting ready to call them and see what's going on with my service but before I did, I checked the speed via ethernet & wifi. Turns out my ethernet speed is actually what I'm paying for, while the wifi was less than a third of that.
I did some research on different wifi routers and ended up on this one. Immediately after setting up I was reaching near ethernet speeds. Setup was simple, and I love being able to use the dual band functionality to avoid wifi traffic jams while the kids are playing on their wireless devices and I'm trying to stream a 4k movie on the TV.
For us this has been a fantastic addition to the home network.

This router has a very long range 5GHz compare to the older model. I ran a speedtest and I get 119.58Mbps Download and 6.41Mbps Upload on my iPhone (Internet Provider Comcast). Also this router is very easy to setup. You can change the password to whatever you like. It also have a guess option for outsider to use.

Had it for close to 2 years now, works great. Easy set up, good speeds. I game and stream shows a lot as well as work from home, so I'm always using my internet. It's held up very well IMO. There are 4 ethernet ports. If you need more, this is not the router for you. Also, the ports are extremely close to each other, so depending on the type of cable you're using, they may not all fit. It's annoying, but not enough for me to remove any stars. The AmazonBasics CAT5E Ethernet Cables will not allow you to have all 4 ports used at once. Found that out the hard way.

Bought this router to replace an outdated and slow Linksys router.
Setup was super fast and the new app is very helpful to configure and see traffic.
The antennas and infrastructure make this router very fast and it has a lot of reach.
Setup in my living room (middle of the house 1 floor) and I get the exact same speed and thruput on extremes of second floor and extremes of basement.
I can still get network by the end of my driveway.
The app also allows me to setup priority for up to 5 devices, so the fastest speed will go to this five top devices.
Proven that the new hardware was worth to the last penny, will see for how long.

I received this product as a sample in other to give my honest feedback. The product is awesome and the WiFi range was beyond my expectation. I thought my Netgear N900 was better but this was faster and was able to carry a lot of my devices. I do recommend it because I just replaced my router with Linksys!

I've only been using AC 1750 wi-fi router for about a week now but so far so good.My old router was not able to handle the 8-10 devices usually running in my house so I spent a lot of time buffering. So far this one works perfectly with no delays or freezing. Set up consisted of plugging in two plugs, ridiculously simple, took about three minutes.
