Simply works!
Ok, well this was a replacement for an older Linksys router which still worked but just wanted an upgrade to my WiFi and BOY was this the one to buy!
Last router I needed a WiFi extender for while home WiFi at my home but not needed for this one.
Reaches my whole home and love that it has the dual MHz so I can connect my more bandwidth wand speed needing devices to the 5 and other ones on the old 2 standard. Love the smart app that runs all of it and can control all the little ins & outs of the settings.
A guest mode, password protected as well! Also device prioritizing up to 3 devices. That’s it. No complaints.

The Linksys Max-Stream 1750 is a great router. I have owned it for almost a year now and I have had zero issues with it. It has been fast and reliable. It offers separate networks for 2G and 5G which is great for device compatibility. You can also give specific devices priority on their network via the Linksys App, which is awesome. It has tons of features, you definitely want to download it.
I was paying my cable internet provider every month to rent their router. I got sick of it and bought this Linksys. No regrets, it has already paid for itself. If you are paying your internet provider to rent their router, buy this router and stop.

Working from home because of the pandemic, I needed my home office signal to be as strong as the living room signal, where my modem is at. This device did the trick and allows me to work wirelessly in another room with no fear of dropped signal strength.

My old netscape router was difficult to install and program. Terrible customer service. The Linksys - Max-Stream™ AC1750 Wi-Fi Router - Black was simple. Called their customer service and they walked through it in about 10 minutes. No problems since...

One month in keeps disconnecting. Disappointed with this purchase. Was supposed to be a Linksys but I am just so disappointed to have the same problem before I purchased the product. Thing is the item can no longer be replaced. Not a happy camper. Changed the channel, zero interruption on 5g network but still same old issue.

Best Router for a tech family!

The Linksys - Wireless-AC1750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router is so far the best router I have had yet. I have only had the wireless router from Verizon. It has one antenna. With this router, it has 3!. I live in a 4 bedroom apartment and I tested the range of the WIFI. I was able to get plenty of internet access throughout the entire house even when I went downstairs. I have 3 kids under 10 and including my husband and myself, we are constantly connecting to all our electronic devices. We have 4 flat tvs, 2 computers, 2 tablets, 3 smartphones, and a lot of game systems. With the old router, the WiFi was super slow when connected to all these items. The Linksys - Wireless-AC1750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router makes staying connected to all these items a breeze without any interruptions at all and with full super speed on all downloads. The instructions was extremely easy to set up. I set it up in less that 20 minutes. Since I was able to download the application on my phone, I can control all the parental controls on where they can go during their time to do homework. Sometimes the girls can tend to stray and try to play games. With these controls that will not be happening any longer. I hope my new router lasts for a long time because I love to see those full 4 bar signals all the time! I do not think this router is bulky at all because I have a huge computer desk so its no bother at all!
I received a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback.

I have only had this router four days, my review is mainly on setup and parental controls, that was what I needed. I read 100's of reviews on all types of routers and then looked at their apps to see what reviews were there. This router had hands down the most positive info. It's parental control screen shots looked like something I wanted. Well it was as good as I had hoped. It was very easy to set up. I am not a computer genius or tech guru, but I had no problem straight out of the box setting this up, simple instructions. Plug it into the electric outlet and a cable to your internet router then I went on my desktop and pretty much set the entire thing up in about 5-10 minutes. We then took each electronic and connected to the network one by one and as we did we could label them in the Linksys online application. Now I can look and see all 15 devices (TV, phones, Firestick, echo, pads, etc ) I can set controls on any or all of the items, you can limit certain sites, set times, it was wonderful. I have a guest network and home and I can shut anyone off of the system I want at anytime with the swipe of a button. This is a great tool if you have teenage kids, I can tell you from the look on their face they were not happy. I then Downloaded the app on my phone and my husbands and we now have control where ever we are, shopping, work, etc. I can shut it down , leave my kids with a list of items I need done, and then when they send proof the task is complete, they get their internet. Happy days are here again! I also noticed that some of the Ipads ran better and downloads were faster, I can't say for gaming yet as my daughter has not played anything to test it out. Too busy doing her choreI guess. Truly I was impressed and very happy with my choice.

Replaced an old failed D-Link router with this one. Very easy to set up, and easy intuitive software to interact with the router. I like being able to set up device priority and other options. No drop outs, and very happy with the speeds for both bands. The only downside is it does have a larger footprint on my desk than my previous one, but this is very minor, but perhaps something to keep in mind if your space limited.

I received this router as a sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback. The instructions for setup are simple, straightforward and easy to follow. I love that I can use the Linksys app to configure all settings, including the name & password for my wifi network. The range is also great. A awesome feature is having dual bands: 2.4 & 5.0. This is an excellent option for users who are not tech savvy.

This was purchased to replace a Belkin router which had been in use for a number of years and was no longer being supported. We did experience some streaming issues, likely due to the limitations of the bandwidth of the old device and wanted to upgrade to something that also took advantage of the additional bandwidth offerings (5Ghz). This device definitely fit the bill. Since installing it there have been no streaming issues and connectivity has been a breeze. I love the graphical interface it offers to better picture (and control) the devices which have been connecting to it. Having two bands (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) has also allowed us to better control access by non-family members (e.g. Foster kids who come into our home temporarily) allowing them to enjoy some free time on the internet while controlling what they access, and when. We don't have any devices yet that utilize the beamform technology but we're ready for those in the future.
On a side note, this device caused our cable modem to reconfigure itself to take advantage of the newer technology, likely contributing to the improved speed throughput. It averages over 60MB per second.

I received this as a free sample from Linksys.
I just received this the router today. Within 30 minutes I had it connected to my Fios modem router as a second available SSID, encyption was set up with guest access, and I instituted parental controls for some gaming sites that interfere with the kids homework.
I have never set up a router this easy. It also comes with an available smart phone app which I downloaded from the Google Play store. Many settings and parental controls are controllable from your smart phone in any location. You set up an account with linksys and you can then remotely control your router.
As far as performance, my previous router did not have MIMO antennas and I was forced to set up an extender in our living room to get decent access there. With this router there is no such problem. Network speeds close to the router recorded from speedtest.net were at 20 Mbps (limited by FIOS). At the furthest reaches of my house (upstairs and at the furthest distance away of a 5 bedroom home) I recorded ~10Mbps. Previously I would have no access at the far location.
If I had one complaint it would be that its pretty large unit. Quite a bit bigger than my previous router.

Super Easy Setup, Great Range

This was the simplest router I've ever setup. After you hook up the router, connect to it using the temp password on the getting started paper, set a router password and either use the default random wireless name/password or set your own. That's it, it's up and running.
As for the range, this is the first router that I haven't needed a range extender to reach the farthest point in my house. The TV in that room is now streaming video at full resolution.
Linksys provided the router in exchange for my review.
