Bought this router as a replacement for a rental one through company I use for Internet service. It's unbelievable how much faster this one is. Before with a new HP laptop computer purchased last year. My kids were constantly complaining about how slow the new computer was yet to load things while doing homework. Actually took computer in to have it checked out. This new router has cured those issues. The signal is incredible also. One of my kids whom their bedroom is in the basement didn't have great coverage before. Couldn't watch a Utube video without it buffering the whole time. Now you can watch a video a block away. Very Happy I went with this router. Great Purchase!

This router could not have been easier to set up with all the devices in my network. I was very impressed at the thought that went into making this an easy, seemless process. I enjoy having the guest network, which allows my visitors to have access and simultaneously protects my main network. The range of my network has increased, but I haven't found a substantial improvement in the speed of the network. Overall, I'm glad I purchased this router.

Easy to setup and works great. Would have given it 5 stars if it was less expensive.

No problem when both my daughters game simultaneously. It will automatically put both of their laptops on different bandwidths. No more glitching. Range covers a very large house and a separate garage. Setting it up did not involve any invective. It just sits there and does what it is supposed to do.

Bought a the top model net gear router at frys electronics and the range on the router was horrible so I returned it and went to Best Buy and paid considerably less than the net gear and the range is great we have 2 laptops 1 ps4 and 3 desktop computers with no problems at all super fast and it never has disconnected excellent router

As with any mobile actuve family, my old wireless quickly became saturated and gave unbearable performance. I bought this wireless router a month ago and my family are all happy campers now. An example of this is that my new wireless speedtest is now faster than my hardwired lan. There is obiviously some component on the lan that is causing this degradation, but without this new wireless router I would never have discovered this. Signal strength is nearly twice that of my old unit (which had a separate hi-gain tri-antenna add-on). Also our previous video streaming pausing problem is now gone. This was an expensive wireless router, but it was worth every penny...

I have gigabit internet so I upgraded to an ac router. It's not realistic to expect 1G speeds because of so many variables that are out of your control however at times I do get speeds of over 300mb which is really fast. The range is great too. I can listen to Pandora while I mow and I live on an acre.

This router has unbelievable speeds at serious distances. Really did like. I ultimately needed to use it not as a router but as an access point, and the way it did that was not what I needed. But for a home or small office where this is the only router, fantastic. Set up was easy and intuitive.

After having issues with pretty much everything else I've used, I finally ponied up for this beast. Far better range & reliabiity! Also, take my advice: use a separate router rather than built in with modem. they each do their own thing, and easier to update.

Awesome product -- great performance, incredible features, and even easier to use -- however, there is a known issue where it disconnects daily for some unknown reason -- slightly annoying for now, but enjoying the overall benefits while waiting/hoping this issue is addressed soon

For what is on the market right now. I would say this was the best choice for us. It isn't unnecessarily adding a band that is no faster than the others and it has great range and our average speeds rose significantly after we upgraded.

I can't really say anything bad about this router. I have a large backyard, and it reaches every part of it. No problems reaching the basement or all the rooms in the house. It's fast and stable, and I haven't had 1 issue with it.

I bought this to replace old Linksys wrt54g. There were several features that I wanted : ability to set up guest network, wireless a/b/g/n and wall mountable. This had all 3. The router was also easy to configure.

By being a Friends and Family member i did receive a free router to try... This router has the easiest set-up i have seen. With the Smart Wi-Fi feature you can access this router from anywhere you have an Internet connection. It is fast and secure with a very wide range. I now can receive a signal even in my garage.It's Smart Wi-Fi app. allows full control over a wide spectrum of useful features. Security is a breeze to manage.I give it a grade of "Awesome". Even the wife enjoys her Internet experience better now. I love the new control i have over my Internet. Thanks Linksys!

I had been using an older Linksys router for about 5 years. my home is 2 story and I was able to place my router in the center of the top floor so coverage was no problem. After reading reviews I decided to try the Linksys WRT 1900 AC to see if I could get faster wireless speeds since I had purchased new notebook computers. My speed while sitting downstairs went from about 144 with the older router to about 710 on the 1900AC. Easy to set up (I have set up maybe 20 routers throughout the years) and seems to work very well. I have never tried any external hard drives or storage devices on any of my routers so cannot testify to the effectiveness of that feature. But do have 2 computers hard wired that work well.

The product was extremely simply to install and set-up. My only caution is that the Router was, in my opinion, a bit overpriced because it was simply an upgrade of an older issue of the same model.

Works well for home internet needs. Pretty fast speeds. Only thing I can complain about is the Smart Wifi online software. I have problems with the Parental Controls settings. They don't always save.

Easy setup. Settings interface software does not seem to have as many setting options but is much more user friendly including a visual map of all the devices being used. My son who uses XBOX does not think it’s as good as the last router but I have not customized any of the settings or turned on the priority function on this new one and I have been having inconsistent speed with my ISP provider lately. My other son who uses Play Station has not complained… yet. I am betting that when I address the speed issue with my ISP provider and start to customize the router settings that I will be as happy with this new router as I was my old Linksys router and bump my rating to 5 stars.

I replaced my netgear 3900 with this model. have 2 xbox one, 2 I pads, cellphones, computer all connected with no drops or range issues. I highly recommend this router
