It is both mac & windows compatible compared to other devices I had checked out. Easy set-up and worry-free :) Only negative is that it is a bigger usb adapter compared to what you can get for windows compatible :(

Fast speed and Easy installation

Plugged it in my USB port and windows 10 automatically saw it and was working right away. Connected to my wireless ac connection and was working without a hitch. This is installed in my desktop which is upstairs and on the other side of the house where my router is. It’s plugged into a usb 2.0 port and I get my fios 75mb down and upload speed. I get about 240mb speed to my NAS which is hooked to my router. Much better improvement over my old wireless n dongle. Would recommend.

The Linksys WUSB6400M should be easy to set up on a Mac computer using the Setup Utility. You may try to set up the adapter on a different Mac computer for isolation or download the latest Setup Utility to see if it will work with your MacBook Pro.
