Needed to expand my wifi network for the bedrooms and downstairs. This worked perfectly and easy to set up.

I got one in the living room. One in the back bedroom, and one in a RV outside in the backyard. The triangler reception is awesome = no drops in signal.

I returned this one and bought the AC4200 set instead. Works great with awesome coverage. Easy to setup and use and covers a 3 story house perfectly. Note that if you're a first time Linksys user, create your account first on the Mobile app or through the website first. Apparently there was a bug where setup would get stuck for new users. Found this out as I was walking my dad through the setup process. I just wish these mesh networks cost less money.

I’ve tried google wifi with their three pucks. Those were so limited in what they could do but were reliable (all hardwired). You couldn’t turn off dhcp, disable the firewall, put them all on bridge mode, etc. Next I went to Orbi. Got orbi all setup and switched it to AP mode. As soon as I switched it, I noticed clients dropping their connections at least once a day which was annoying me as everything in my house is a smart device. Orbi did have the ability to disable the firewall, put them in bridge mode (ap mode), disable dhcp, etc. AP mode also messed up the Orbi app with it saying a satellite was offline. Finally I went to Linksys Velop. Love these things so far! Was simple to put them in. Super reliable, speeds are 300mbps+ on wireless. Bridge mode was simple to configure. App works flawless. Love them!

Purchased the two node system for just under $100 and it works great. Setup was extremely easy using their iOS app with ATT home internet service. Wi-Fi range and speed are both FAR superior to what I had been getting with the standard ATT gateway.

Definitely improved the range and speed of our WiFi signal. Really easy to set up and after about a week we have no problems.

This purchase was an upgrade to my existing linksys router which served me well. Going to the Velop 2 pack improved coverage within my house with a unit in the basement family room and the other in my upstairs office. Speeds are consistent and connections easy. Setup is simple and quick to complete for both units. However, once the install is complete the Linksys app notifies you of an update. I applied the update and lost all connectivity. By reverting the units back to out of the box configuration and running the initial setup again, all was well and has been trouble free since. I particularly like the Linksys app for management of the Velop system. I can run speed tests, check devices, add and remove devices, and effortlessly manage my wireless environment. Good product!

Set up took about 25 minutes for all 3 nodes. It was easy through the Lynksys app, and was very easy. The app itself allows for prioritization of 3 devices which is awesome. My modem and router needs to be in the basement, and with my old AC3100 router from ASUS I would average 50-75Mbps on my upper level. Now will one Velop node connected to my modem and 2 nodes upstairs, I average 200Mbps which is much closer to what I pay for. Overall this mesh system is very price competitive and a great option for those not looking to spend over $250 for a WiFi solution. My only complaint is the specs list 3 Ethernet cables included and there is only one 3ft cable in the box. Other than that, no complaints, awesome mesh network!

We purchased this kit and installed it rather easily in about 30 minutes. It stated it covers a 4000 sq. ft home and is dual band (2.4 & 5GHz). We are at about 2500 and one portion/room could not keep coverage. I researched and realized the kit for 6000 square feet has a trim-band (a 2.4 & (2) 5GHZ) so carried this back and installed the tri-band and all is working very well. Solved all my internet connectivity issues, including 3 TV's using streaming.

I was paying for 300 mbps and was getting in the 20’s with my old modem and router. I was looking at the all in one modem/router but heard performance can be spotty. I went with a new modem that was rated in the 600’s and the Linksys Velop to insure my whole house had coverage. House is a standard 2400 sq ft. home and so far so good. We have multiple smart flat screens that are used for streaming, ps4 and personal devices for a family of 5. I also work from home using my work laptop. Setup was simple and I’m very satisfied. I’m getting 250 to 350 speed consistently and have not experienced any lagging. Just for reference it took hours to update Fornite and after installing it took about 20-25 minutes.

This setup was purchased to replace an older first-gen N router in my parent's 2 story house with attached apartment. I'm used to configuring the old fashioned way, and I'm sure that for most the app-based setup will be a breeze. When configured, the network provided excellent even coverage, which is important in their poor-cellphone reception area. Able to use phone wi-fi all through the house and outside near the house with no dropouts. OOKLA reports a significant speed increase over the old setup. It is not used for gaming, so I can't speak to that. Only 4 stars due to the Linksys app and the related website. The app is designed for phone (at least the iOS version). It does not rotate for my iPad pro with keyboard. I prefer a larger screen. While the system provides both security on the main net, it also provides guest access. The guest access limits guests to connecting to the internet, they can't transfer files on the home net, access storage, or see other devices. Ideally, I would like to configure guest access as completely open in this case. There are no security concerns on this particular installation, except when relatives visit and connect with their own hardware which may have private files. The app will allow you to configure an open network, but it will NOT permit a secure main net and an open Guest net. Both have to be either secure or both open. Other than those specific nits, I'd give the Linksys-Velop excellent marks. This was purchased for elderly seniors, who require minimal connectivity, and their children who visit and are much heavier Internet users. More important for the owners were aesthetics, lack of distracting lights, and small footprint.

Fast and easy: The mesh concept was so easy to set up and it effectively reaches the far corners of our house. Previous routers could not do the job but the Velop router with three nodes and mesh network are simply amazing.

This wifi was very easy to set up and I was worried i would need to have it installed for me. Not so! You download the app and the app guides you through every step. It took me maybe 20-30 minutes... tops...to set it up. I have a 2 story home and my office was upstairs at the opposite end of the house from the router. I set up this mesh wifi and now from wifi signal has gone from 1-1.5 bars to the fullest signal. I am very impressed with and happy with my purchase!

Replaced a Netgear AC2400 due to the system starting to drop connection sporadically with this Linksys AC1300 Mesh system and so far it's been great. Setup was easy but requires downloading an app and registering. From there you add each node individually, it takes 5-10 minutes each. The Linksys system has been great no dropped connections and the WiFi is fast. Pinging the router ranges from 4ms - 10ms, mostly on the low end with one of the nodes in the same room. On a 40mb connection and Google speedtest puts me at 35-45mb on WIFI only. Have not tested LAN. The app is nothing special, simple enough to get you up and running. Adding Nodes take about 5-10 min each. I'm still new to the system and am mostly happy with how it works but I have not found a way to set certain devices to 5ghz only, the system determines how to connect your device. One thing I really like and this may not be something new to others but the App identifies devices really well. Most systems that I have experience with list devices as unknown but this system has identified each and every one of my connected devices. Gaming has been great, low ping rates and downloads are fast. Using Steam Link has been mostly positive but there are a few hiccups here and there. I plan on connecting the gaming PC directly to one of the nodes as well as the Steam Link and see if we can get rid of most of those hiccups. As an example we're having fun playing BroForce, BattleBlock Theatre, OverCooked, Street Fighter 5 and Lego Marvel Super Heroes on Steam link with no problems.

This product was installed by a Geek Squad tech. He was very helpful and polite. After it was installed I noticed that my printer was in the off-line status. The next day I called the 800 433-5778, explained the problem and they solved the problem. Very courteous and effective work from the Help desk. Our house is two floors with 5 tv's 2 up 3 down. This product enables Excellent signal on all 5 units, something we did not get on our old router network. The internet response is much quicker on our two computers and iPads too. It's an attractive product, not too obvious in appearance.

This mesh system is definitely a great value for the price. Easy install and easy set up. This product definitely gives you more control over your home network. The reason I am setting the overall rating to "Good" is because the mesh network seems to be crazy fast and then over time will become slow and then the system will correct itself. Other than experiencing this issue the product overall is great!

Perhaps my title is a bit dramatic, however it did eliminate one source of frustration and arguments. After getting married and finding our dream country home, we Like most newlyweds, we were over joyed and super eager to start building our home network. There was only a couple options for internet provider but we got started and set up with our provider supplied gateway. There were comparability issues with our equipment and several phone calls and troubleshooting we finally found someone willing to listen to our symptoms and provide us with the right equipment. Things went smoother but not great until the day we added the printer. I’ll never forget the look of horror on my wife’s face when the initial complications arose. The WiFi was spotty, the internet dropped and the printer had to be turned off and back on. Our printer would sleep like a baby, but couldn’t wake up!! Experts insisted it was firmware issue, the internet providers blamed the equipment, fingers were pointed and it finally took its toll on our marriage. I would stay up late troubleshooting why my phone couldn’t print when my wife’s could only to then have her unable to print and irritated at me. Things were falling apart. Then I discovered this Linksys mesh. Coincidentally the internet provider was at our home troubleshooting yet another new router that had even worse range when I showed up with my new router. I could see the look of shame in his eyes as he realized what was about to happen. I immediately downloaded the app and began installing the first node. He wanted to stay to offer his expertise but when he saw how simple the installation was, he left. I think it was too painful to see a civilian setting up a better network then his company could provide. Since the upgrade my wife and I have seen life in a new way. We have WiFi not only all through the house (full signal strength) but even out in our yard. All our smart equipment works. We stream movies and no matter what time of the day or night, if we want to print. We print! No setting changes, no arguments. Just enjoying our home network like two people in love should.

My husband and I are not very tech savvy! This system was user friendly. Download the app, follow the prompts, and you’re ready to go. We purchased this particular system after talking to the Best Buy staff. We needed more range but not a system that was complicated since we only needed it for our phones and iPad. I tested the range and was able to use my iPad out in the back yard. Success!!!

How much needed boost of wifi throughout the house

I had been hesitant about using the mesh system. My house is a house inside a house. Meaning it is a house with cedar planks and then it was bricked in. Not to mention it’s 4000 sq ft and it has an attached garage with a man cave above it that’s a couple hundred feet away. That being said, this system is working great. I’m not getting 5g out in the garage but I am getting a solid 50mbps download were before I was getting squat. They do really well piggy backing off each other. Very happy so far with my purchase. Very simple to set up. Takes about 6-8 minutes per pod. Super easy.
