It's a good tracker for auto use, can help track car parking location and many more GPS related features tracking location of the car, alos has 5 years cellular service included, good value

This is a very good car tracking device. I've done lots of research on this kind of device and finally ended up on this one. This is easy to install and use. You can use this to live track when the car start, stop, the driving routs and where it park. There's no monthly fees to use this compared to other similar device. I am very glad I bought this and am planning to buy another one.

good OBD device. it will tell your car's vicinity location but not the exact place just like other equipment in the market right now thru it's mobile app.

I had the original Automatic and it finally died on me. This new one is better because it connects wirelessly using 3G so the location services is way better and you’ll never lose the connection with the Automatic app. The interface is also better. While it’s designed to interpret engine errors for you, all it really doesn’t es is log in your drive and location. The emergency feature s good too. It does give you a monthly report of your driving habits compared to other drivers using the Automatic. For parents this is a way to keep track of kids locations.

Pros: Does everything it says it does. Some great features in there for parents (tracking, accident notification) Cons: Not sure why but I expected more for the trouble code description. If you are purchasing Automatic primarily for the code tool and you know how to get your trouble codes manually, you save yourself a lot of money just by looking up the codes online. Phone app sends a LOT of notifications (each time the vehicle is started, stopped, drive time...). Notification settings are Always/Never with little customization

Great for tracking trips, mileage, driving style, etc. Product is easy to setup. it tells me where my car is at all times, it tracks all the trips very accurately. I love that I can track the vehicle now when someone else is driving or if it was ever stolen. I am very satisfied. Highly recommend. Excellent, Great reliability, Well worth the money you’ll save.

It is very compact. Instructions was easy to read and installation was simple. Report are pretty accurate.

Very easy to install; I have multiple units in multiple vehicles, no issues with the app. There are no monthly/recurring fees, very good coverage, and the trip tracking integration with IFTTT automates the data collection - easy peasy! There is also tracking for fill-ups, which can add value to the data reported. The unit has very low power draw so the only obvious drawback is if you have charging and/or battery issues in your vehicle, though this should not be an issue on most vehicles. However, if you have had to jump your vehicle lately fix that before installing this, or remove the Automatic when the vehicle is not in use. Outside of that scenario I can't see any reason not to recommend this product.

Purchased this after In-law got lost. Now I immediately know when they are driving. I am able to follow them as they drive. Gives a little peace of mind.

If I could rate it a 10, I would! I purchase this for my daughters car, as she is a new driver and now I am at ease that I know where she is at every moument with this device! Plus I also know how her car is running, all at live time! I can’t say anything but wow and thanks! Anyone with a new driver in their household should have one!!!!

GREAT product for the price, No recurring charges No data fee's does great for tracking vehicle. I put this unit in my 16 year old daughters car. It gives me a little piece of mind. Took 1 star off because I wish it would alert of speeding as some of the others due but for the price this is a great value

This product does the best it can do. My engine started shaking. The notification on my phone showed Cylinder 1 Misfire. Would've been nice to know exactly what caused it, but thankfully it was only a bad ignition coil. I like that I can track my vehicle even when I'm not in it. I can tell when the car is turned on to be serviced via notification on my phone that it's being driven. I can show you where you parked your car in case you forgot where you parked in a stadium or at a mall! If you keep up with your gas expenses in the app, it'll tell you how well you're using the fuel. It also gives you weekly reports on your driving as well as a monthly report how you compare to other Automatic user. I definitely will be using this product for all my vehicles going forward. Oh! Did I mention that it has a Crash Alert that works like OnStar? :)

I was thrilled to get this, finally decided I would get it for my new Mercedes. I wanted to track my mpg cause it’s a diesel. My reported mpg was 10mpg off. Odd... car says I’m getting 37mpg, automatic says I’m getting 27. So I emailed the company asking “what’s up with the incorrect data?” They said my vehicle does not provide the raw data needed to establish accurate figures. What the heck, their website said it was fully compatible. The offered me a refund if I bought it directly from them, otherwise tough luck. Not a happy customer. I even tried asking if it could be calibrated from an update, to no avail. Now I won’t trust what they say for any other vehicles. It’s a shame cause it’s a nice product, if it was accurate. I figured I’d keep it at this point just for the crash alert (don’t know if that is compatible with my car either), because Mbrace crash alert is $280/yr.

Great integration to smartphone. Easy to set up and provides lots of data

I’m able to see detailed trips I take throughout the day with information such as mileage and my average mpg efficiency. Occasionally, it loses connection to the 3g but not often enough to consider it a problem.

I bought this for the insurance discount and it also has some pretty neat features. It can locate your car using your phone even if someone else drives it, it uses secure 3G. It also has bluetooth functionality for the other apps you can use with it. I use it to track business miles which is also very handy for tax season.

Unboxed, plugged in to vehicle and downloaded app. Very easy setup and works great. Would highly recommend.

Excellent product for keeping track of new driving kids. Tells you exactly where car/kids is located.

This tracker gave me more than I expected. The system is easy to install. It keeps track of mileage, gas expenses, and more. I recommend it for anyone who travels for business or has a teenager.
