Too complicated. Not intuitive still uses codes instead of simple words. I would never recommend these locks. Had professional installation and still took too long.
At Lockly we stand by our Pin Genie technology that allows for our "peak-proof" access codes, a feature that would not be possible with a "simple words" password solution.

Cant use the finger print because its on the same side as the latch which means u cant stick your finger between the door and the frame of the door
We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble accessing the fingerprint scanner on your Lockly Secure Pro, we do offer locks with both left and right-side fingerprint scanners, and it is possible to have it on whichever side is opposite your doorframe.

The Lockly - Secure Pro Bluetooth Deadbolt is a remarkable invention that is truly revolutionizing the door lock industry. With everything becoming more and more connected wirelessly, it makes sense that door locks would soon follow.
What is especially great about the Lockly Secure Pro Bluetooth Deadbolt are all of the features it comes with which are designed to address and solve the various issues that could arise from using a wirelessly controllable lock or a lock with access code capabilities. The “PIN Genie Technology” is very unique and does a great job of addressing the issue other static code screens have by mixing up the characters on the keypad display every time the door is approached. This makes it much more difficult for anyone to try and guess a valid access code by looking at the screen to see which characters are typically pressed since the correct characters are always in different spots on the keypad.
The built-in fingerprint scanner is also a wonderful feature which really comes in handy for my children. I much prefer them being able to simply use their fingerprints to come in on their own rather than them having keys which can be lost or numerical codes which can be forgotten or shared with others who should not be given such a code. The fingerprint scanner seems to work very well as I have not experienced any issues with it yet and although I have not attempted to use a lifted print, I have no reason to believe the claims made by Lockly are not true when they claim the advanced 3D fingerprint scanner only scans physical fingers which prevents lifted prints from being used.
Installation was pretty straightforward and not all that difficult or complicated. Another really cool feature is the Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility. It really is awesome being able to simply tell Alexa to unlock the front door for me when I am expecting someone, especially since my home is three stories and it is a pain having to go all the way down to the first floor just to unlock the door for someone when I know they have arrived.
Overall, the Lockly Secure Pro Bluetooth Deadbolt lock is a truly remarkable piece of technology and I highly recommend it!

The lock was easy to install and the software makes managing the device very easy. It integrates very well with the google assistant and pairing of the included door sensor and wifi hub was very easy. The quality of the design is great but I wish the interior part of the lock was the same metal and finish as the exterior lock. The app allows full control and versatility when changing any settings on the device. It fully integrated with the google assistant which makes unlocking my door a breeze. The fingerprint reader works well, the placement of the finger needs to be precise so that the reader will work. The security features seem to be very nice and the fact that the google requires a pin to unlock your door and the keypad keeps changing the position of the numbers allows for added security. I highly recommend it! The future will meet you at your door as soon as you get home!

Great Smart Lock With Limitations

I have used another brand smart lock on my home for about a year so I was curious to see how the Lockly Secure Plus deadbolt edition would compare. Unboxing revealed the Lockly which immediately seemed substantial and well constructed. This is the Venetian bronze edition and it looks nice. I would point out that the exterior parts are all metal while the interior parts are mostly plastic. I found this disappointing. Within the box are the hardware and installation and setup manuals. I quickly found myself somewhat intimidated as I started looking through the manuals. I somehow expected this to be complicated. As I was about to begin installation I noticed that the outside of the manual suggests installing the Bilt app for step by step instructions. I setup Bilt and searched for my Lockly model. Bilt started the process by telling you that installation and setup will take 1 hour and 45 minutes for one person and that it will take 60 installation steps. Again I got a bit anxious. Bilt told me the tools I would need. Really all you need is a philips head and flat head screwdriver. If you want to you can opt to use some extra securing screws which would require a drill. I really wanted to see if I liked the Lockly before I committed to screwing into my door.
As I jumped in and started installation Bilt walked me through each step with ease. What I expected to be a complicated installation suddenly seemed quite easy. In what seemed like no time I had the Lockly hardware installed. Bilt then continues to walk you through the setup of connecting it to your phone via WiFi, and Bluetooth. Here you also are prompted to setup an account and an access code for the pin pad. Included with the Lockly is the Secure Link WiFi Hub which permits you to access the Lockly via WiFi. Keep in mind that they suggest you plug this in within 10 feet of the Lockly. I next setup the fingerprint reader. This step was a bit complicated but love the idea and ease of use.
As I start using the Lockly I quickly appreciate the options by which you can operate the deadbolt. Unlocking your door couldn’t be easier by using either your phone, the pin pad, your fingerprint, or of course a key. Love it. The pin pad is pretty high tech in that it includes their Pin Genie solution to move the pin pad numbers around so an intruder is not able to decipher your pin pad by smudges or wear left on the pin pad. This is a great security feature.
As I continue using the Lockly I do start to notice some flaws. First off while the Lockly opens my door easily using my phone it doesn’t lock the door in my case because the deadbolt on my door doesn’t align to the hole due to weather stripping on my door. You know how you have to apply pressure while closing a door to compress the weather strip while locking the door. It seems these smart lock developers fail to address this issue. My prior smart lock failed here as well. Next I note that there is no Apple HomeKit integration. Very disappointing. The Lockly website does state that HomeKit support is coming. Hopefully sooner than later. No IFTTT support here either. I’m additionally baffled by the fact that the Lockly includes a door sensor that you need to install in order to get notifications whether your door has been opened or closed but it doesn’t notify you if it’s been locked or unlocked. Huh? Why doesn’t the Lockly itself provide this functionality? You can check a log in the settings to see this but you don’t get a notification. Bizarre.
Ultimately I found myself conflicted by the Lockly. My compliments to Lockly for offering the Bilt installation option. It’s step by step instructions made setup far easier than expected. The build quality, design, and unlocking options are quite nice but I find the clumsy and flawed notification options disappointing. I would recommend the Lockly just be aware of its limitations.

So far this lock set is fantastic. Installation was simple. Instructions are clear and straightforward. I was able to use my old deadbolt holes and everything matched up perfectly without any trimming needed. This color also matches close enough to the existing door knob below so that I really can't tell it's a different brand.
I love all of the options for unlocking the door. So far I have used the app on my phone, the fingerprint sensor, and the touchscreen code. I love that my family can unlock the door without the need for a key or a code with their fingerprint. It has already come in handy to have my daughter unlock and open the door when my hands are full.
I have not, however, been able to use this lock with Google Home. I have connected the device but none of the commands work. The Google Home just says "this has not been set up yet" or something to that effect. I have contacted Lockly customer support via the webpage, but after a week have not heard anything from them. It's a bit disappointing.
All in all it's a great lock and I would recommend it!

Looks great - love the bronze. Easy to setup and connect to my existing network since this is the Secure Pro. Installed app and able to set up all my settings without fail. Alexa can now unlock the door anytime I need her to unlock the door. Took about an hour to remove my old deadlock and install this one. Had to make the latch area inside the door frame a bit larger. Still a breeze, fingerprint capability is a plus. Great quality and love the random code where the numbers switch position on the lock - really impressive.

Lockly - Secure Pro Bluetooth Deadbolt is a fantastic lock with smart home integration capabilities. It has a great look and installation was a snap. I have young children, and being able to use a fingerprint to unlock the house versus carrying around a key or remembering a passcode is a fantastic feature. This unit allows you to save up to 99 fingerprints, which is way more than you will ever need. The finger print reader works great. The pass code option is also brilliant. Each time you attempt to enter a pass code, the digits rotate through four three digit circles making it much more secure from someone trying to look at previous imprints. To make it even more secure, you can opt to have the digits rotate after each press, however that option will disable some other functionality such as creating offline access codes. Personally, I think the shuffling of digits for each access attempt is sufficient. Another cool feature I have never seen before, which can be helpful as a last resort if your lock battery happens to run out. Yiu can touch a 9v battery on the bottom of the unit to enable you to enter your passcode or use the fingerprint option to unlock your door. There is also a key option that is hidden behind a rotating key door. So these are your options on the deadbolt lock itself. But there are additional ways of entry with the Lockly mobile app, which is also compatible with Alexa. For additional security, for those time you know you don't want passcode or fingerprint access, from inside the house you can set the deadbolt on on and off with a switch. If I had to name any flaws, only two things come to mind. There is an audio option in the app settings, however when turning it off, the unit still beeps when unlocking the unit with passcode and fingerprint. The other issue is that even though the fingerprint reader works great, I would say that holds true to an adult size or older kids fingers. With smaller fingers such as with my 8 yr old, the reader can be hit or miss. Overall, I think Lockly has done a great job with features and design of this deadbolt and would highly recommend.

First off, I have to say I have been wanting something like this for awhile! I looked into the Amazon options originally but the reviews just weren’t there and the features seemed limited and the products didn’t look very good. Lockly provided everything I looked for in a keyless lock.
This deadbolt is not only secure but super convenient. Its always been a pain having to shuffle my keys out of my pocket at night and try to use what little light I had available to figure which one to use, especially while carrying my work items and gym bag. Now this convenience is priceless! So onto the good stuff, this deadbolt has a nice responsive touch screen. Install was fairly straight forward especially since they include an optional visual tutorial (through the Bilt app) that provides a step by step for installing along with standard instruction manual. The total install time was around 2 hours. This was a relaxed easy pace install I did and included the phone and entry code setup.
So lets look at the different ways you can open this lock. First off, you have a traditional key option. You are provided with 2 physical keys. Great to have as an emergency, even though I’m sure you’ll never need them. Next you have the Lockly app which allows you to unlock the door. Then you have the nice keypad you can enter your personal access code. This is great because you can have a permanent trusted user, you can have a guest code that has a limited time access, and you have a one time code option you can generate for someone. Then on top of that you have a fingerprint reader! This is my favorite as I don’t have to open my phone or push a bunch of buttons. I just walk up to my door and place my finger on the side and boom it opens! Its nice to have options though. Oh, and you can use Alexa or Google Home to open it as well. The door comes with an optional door sensor that will know if the door is open or closed and you will need to add it to use these devices. “Hey google, unlock the front door!” You will need to provide google a passcode to do this, but not to lock it. This way someone on the other side of the door doesn’t yell in commands to open the door without knowing the code. Very nice feature if you don’t have your phone on the couch and want to unlock the door.
The deadbolt connects through wifi and through Bluetooth. The deadbolt its is pretty sturdy and quality made. Packaging is nice and modern. Having roommates and regular friends visit makes this amazing to use. You don’t even need a house key anymore. The app has setting options to do things like set an auto-lock after the door has been unlocked, receive notifications when the door sensor has been tripped (opened), and allows for firmware updates so possible new features may be released in the future.
My only con/issue I had with the deadbolt is the auto-lock feature. For some reason there is no setting for it to check if the door is closed before locking (assuming you have the door sensor installed). So if the door is left open for whatever reason it’ll just extend the deadbolt. Not a big deal but in my case I was going in and out of the house one day bringing in groceries and I would partially close the door as I was coming in and out and the auto-lock kicked on while it was halfway closed and the bolt got jammed against the wood frame. Can’t imagine that’s good for the motor, it had a weird clicking noise that wouldn’t go away by manually opening and closing the lock but I had to motor close it and open it to fix it. Just seems like it would be an easy fix to do with an update, definitely not enough to take away a star.
Overall we love this thing. You have many ways to get into your house. It provides a nice modern look to whatever door you add it to and I can’t imagine ever going back to a traditional deadbolt after this. If you’re on the fence, get this! You won’t be disappointed.

Smart homes need smart locks, and I think the smart move is getting this lock. If you want something simple, smart, and easy to use, then look no further. First off, the style of this lock is sleek and simple, and it fits the overall styling within my house. It’s not the smallest smart lock out there, but definitely not the biggest. Initially, pictures of the lock reminded me of a bulky office-style lock with a keypad. But once I got my hands on it, I realized it’s absolutely not as big and not even near as ugly. Installation was actually a breeze, and took less than 10 minutes......at least for the lock itself. Once installed, programming access codes and finger prints was even easier.
Now for my issues with the lock.....well, actually I have no issues with the lock at all! However, I do have an issue with the wireless hub. Remember I said it took less than 10 minutes to install the lock? Well, i burned through about an hour of trying to set up the wireless hub for the lock. Yes, yes, yes, I completely know and understand that the hub works on 2.4ghz. The WiFi in my house has both 2.4ghz and 5ghz, and I currently have multiple devices using the 2.4ghz. But, this wireless hub is not one of them. I reset my router, opened up my guest Wi-Fi, took off other devices using 2.4, but nothing worked. I even moved the hub to the closest outlet to my router, and still.l no connection. I got to the point where I simply gave up.
All in all, I think this is a really good addition to anyone upgrading the “smarts” in their house. As long as you are fully capable of taming your Wi-Fi signal on the 2.4ghz side, this lock will be great for you.

Buy something else. This lock took four visits by two professional installers to get working (read the reviews: all note that installation is a nightmare). Had to order extra sensors (they keep falling off the door). The absolute worst, though, is the UNRELIABLE the WiFi connect. It just drops off randomly, requiring an in-house reset. And, no, it is NOT the quality of my network or proximity to the lock. The Lockley app is just poorly designed. When I did a software upgrade, all my saved codes were deleted -- well, not quite true, the codes were saved, but the names associated with the codes were deleted (and unrecoverable). Several times I've tried to open the door remotely for a visitor and found the WiFi connection would not connect. When it works, it's great (especially the fingerprint access). It just doesn't work all the time. Not what I need from a security system. Oh, and I had to order a special keypad cover, because you aren't supposed to expose the lock to direct sun (!!???!!). Can't recommend.
We're sorry to hear that you had a less-than-stellar experience with your Lockly Secure Pro. We do stand by the quality of our product and it seems that you have unfortunately encountered just about every possible hurdle out there and that all being wrapped up into one experience may seem bad but is definitely not the standard experience with a Lockly.

I actually got this deadbolt to replace one that I already had. This seemed more fully featured, and the bronze finish matched the new hardware we installed on our front door. To be honest I figured that most smart deadbolts were basically the same and I wasn't expecting much of a difference in the overall experience. Boy was I wrong. This deadbolt is incredible in it's combination of security features, and ease of use.
When I first saw a picture of the Lockly Secure Pro Bluetooth Deadbolt I thought it was odd that the numbers on the touchscreen were configured in the little circles, and not in a standard keypad layout. It turns out this is a great security feature! Every time you input your entry code it changes the numbers to a new location so nobody will be able to see the pattern you use, and repeat it to gain entry.
The fingerprint reader is easy to set up, and very accurate. It is my favorite feature of this deadbolt as it makes entry into your home even easier than entering a pin. Coming home with a few armloads of groceries? No need to set everything down and enter your pin. Just stick your finger on the sensor, and your immediately have access.
You can also set the door to lock itself after a certain interval of time. It really makes entry, and security a seamless experience.
I would definitely recommend this smart deadbolt to anyone in the market. You will not regret your decision to go with Lockly.

There are many smart locks out there but so far this is the only one I could find with a fingerprint, code access, and a key as well for backup.
My fingerprint is my main source of unlocking and it takes less than a second to unlock once it recognizes your print. If we choose to unlock with the code, the code numbers on the pad are randomized between four buttons so, prying eyes will not be able memorize the unlock "pattern."
The difference between the secure plus and secure pro is; the secure pro version comes with the wifi hub. This allows you to monitor your door anywhere you have an internet connection on your phone. Without the wifi hub, these locks are restricted to bluetooth connection only.
The wifi hub can connect to more than one lock, but all locks would have to be within bluetooth distance of the wifi hub.

If you want to spend this type of money every couple of years when the electronics mysteriously drains your batteries to the point where you don't even get notified, then go ahead and buy. This is outside the warranty and the only thing they can offer is a 35% off discount to buy another one. Batteries last 3 days tops with little usage and no low battery warning. You've been warned. Find a better smart lock because Lockly will not stand behind it once warranty expires for electronics. Lockly, you should stand behind this for 5 years not 2 years.
We're very sorry you're having battery draining issues with your lock. Our locks are entitled to a 5-year limited mechanical and finish warranty and a limited 2-year electronics warranty. Lockly also offers lifetime customer service and technical support. You may also purchase an extended warranty from our authorized retailers and on our website, www.lockly.com if you would like a longer warranty period.
