We use these locks for all our vacation rentals. They are fantastic, secure user friendly and provide a great service for new codes for every new tenant.

What this advertises for a rekey - no, not really. Have to get a locksmith to do it. And this is 6 pins in the lock and the other Lockly handle is 5 pin. So the key had to be modified. Also, if you have a kwikset key - wont work to rekey.
Environmentally friendly with solar panel recharge

The most advanced model of the Lockly family of smart locks is the Vision Elite Deadbolt Edition. Lockly refined earlier versions of their Wi-Fi smart locks and designed the most feature rich smart lock in their lineup. Installation instructions are intuitive with step-by-step videos available and can be followed by DIYers of any skill level, using basic household tools - it only took me about 25min. The built-in lithium batteries are recharged by the built-in solar panel, but there is also a microUSB port you can use to directly charge them. Highlighting the features I liked and some I did not as much:
Likes:
Multiple ways to lock/unlock: 3D Fingerprint, PIN, iPhone or Android phone App that works via both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, physical key, Alexa or Google Assistant
Full HD video with night vision up to 15feet
Intelligent motion sensor that can trigger and send alerts to your phone
2-way communication for door bell functionality
Solar panel built-in to minimize or eliminate the need to recharge batteries - very cool!
Weather/moisture detection that disables some touchpad functionality to protect from elements
Built-in Wi-Fi, so you don’t need any additional “bridge” hardware
Internal video storage on memory card
Minor dislikes:
Replaces your dead-bolt and keys, so you must use their proprietary key; in my case, that will be an extra key on the key-chain, as I had matching keys for front door, back door
Only 2 keys included (other smartlock brands included 4 or 5 keys)
Though it’s nice to have the doorbell integrated within the same app/ecosystem and not need additional hardware, most people are still used to ringing a doorbell mounted on the wall/outside of the door frame, so this integration may not catch on.

After having taken the time to install doorbell cameras previously on my home and some of my extended family members, I felt silly when I discovered that this existed. In a move of genius, Lockly has combined a deadbolt, doorbell, and camera into one slick unit. While I had not heard of Lockly prior to installing this unit, it did feel well made and as solid as other units I've dealt with from longer standing lock company brands (who will remain unnamed here) There are a couple of ways that Lockly has gone out of their way here to make their product smarter and more convenient than others. First there are almost TOO many ways you can lock and unlock this deadbolt - Fingerprints! Keys! Codes! e-keys/bluetooth! all the options!. I really thought that the feature that randomizes the numbers onto the keypad in combinations to keep someone from observing your code, is a master feature that I can't believe no one else has used before. Instead of standard AA batteries, they've included a usb rechargeable battery to power this lock, and a mini solar panel to help keep it charged. I enjoyed that the solar panel is also the hidey panel for the key slot. Also not something I've observed in other locks, but included here, is a sensor telling you what position the door is in, so no more worrying if the door is swinging in the wind or not. Installation instructions were straightforward and the install video that Lockly has provided is well thought out and thorough, as well as the instructions in the BILT app are very worthwhile. The inclusion of a camera and the doorbell brings this lock to an entirely new level. I was a little disappointed that this is only an HD camera and not 2k or higher. The Ai on the camera has some of the same caveats as other battery powered security cameras, and perhaps not quite as good at alerts/false alarms as some of the more established brands. The good news is that this is purely software driven and fixable in app updates, but for now it's not as quite as reliable. I wasn't necessarily excited about having ANOTHER adapter to plug into my switch to get internet, but overall I understand that having their own secure communications between the deadbolt and the internet makes it more secure to use. Just a caveat to be aware of. The ability to access my lock via the web in their access portal is also very handy for those times my phone might be dead or not handy. This lock is well thought out and putting some of the existing time tested brands to shame. I would have liked to see a few less plastic parts in the lock itself to feel just a touch more secure out it physically, but overall it seems well made. Minor comments, but the doorbell itself is kind of buried in what feels like a sea of buttons, some of my family members were uncertain if they should be pushing it or not. Also, one thing this doesn't take into account is if you have a screen door with any substance to it it's likely to block the view of the camera. Also with a camera mounted to the door, the camera swings WITH the door when it's opened and closed.

I've had mine a year and now it's having problems connecting to my wifi rendering it almost useless. The Lockly customer/technical service is really bad. You can't call them and the chat option is an hour long waste of time that doesn't fix anything. I will never buy another Lockly product.
