I own both an iPad Pro 12.9 and and recently purchased the 9.7 model. Comparing the Apple Smart Keyboard The Apple Smart Keyboard works great on the 12.9 due to the width of the keyboard, key size, and spacing of the keys. I was not able to maintain the same WPM on the same keyboard for the 9.7 model. The keys were smaller and felt cramped, as a result, was constantly mistyping. Logitech Create for iPad Pro 9.7 I read the reviews on this keyboard and thought I would give it a try. The keys on this are well spaced, has a good travel, and the mechanics of the keyboard feel really good. I was even able to achieve faster typing speeds with this keyboard than then Apple Smart Keyboard for the 12.9 model. Also, this keyboard does not click as loud with each key press, is backlit, which allows me to work at night without disturbing others. I own multiple other Bluetooth keyboards and multiple MacBooks which are known for their keyboards. This keyboard feels similar to the MacBook, is solid. responsive, and well designed. Cons: Adds a little bulk due to shell that covers front and back but provides protection More difficult to remove if you don't always require a keyboard to be attached such as viewing in Protrait mode, playing games, passing around the iPad to others.

I really liked the keyboard and cover, but my iPad kept falling out. Sent it back and got a Urban Armor Gear case for 1/2 the price without the keyboard. Fits iPad Pro, not 9.7" 5th generation iPad

This is a great product. The keyboard is very comfortable to use (and has a much better feel than the Apple keyboard) and the case provides great protection for my iPad Pro. The only problem I experienced is that after a month the iPad Pro stopped responding to the key entry of the keyboard. I checked the website for support. The easiest suggestion to implement was to simply reboot the iPad. I did that and everything reverted to working perfectly.

The create keyboard is much better than the apple key board. 1. The keyboard are back lit. 2. The keys are less cramp so it feel more like a computer. 3. The convenient toolbar makes iPad a computer. 4. Three point connector makes it easy to connect and although people complain about it, it is way easy to remove from the case. 5. It protects the back of beautiful iPad. 6. You won't lose your Apple Pencil because it has a place to place it on the case.

This case is great for iPad functions. It makes typing so much easier when using the ipad, and connects easily. I love this case, and will never use my ipad without it again.

My daughter needed a case for school IPAD. This is the envy of her classmates. It’s instant Bluetooth connectivity and charging off the iPad is sooooo nice. The backlit keyboard is a must!

This is 2nd key board I’ve purchased. This key pad will hold an iPen which is confident. What I don’t like about it is that my iPad doesn’t fit as snug as my previous case on an older iPad

OMG love this keyboard. So easy to use, buttons are great, spacing between keys is perfect, and a keyboard that lights up when typing, YES!!!! A definite recommended buy.

I love it. Without the case, using my new iPad was awkward. This Logitech case is just what I needed. I have had no problems with it at all and the set up was very easy.

This is hands down the best keyboard case for the Pro. Real feeling keys, durable, no keystroke lag. Perfect. The loop for Apple Pencil/stylus is an awesome touch too.

Got this case for only 49.99 when it was 129.99 got a great deal on it. Its like having a laptop good protection too. No bluetooth or charging needed. using your smart connector.

So, we bought the iPad Pro, and we knew we wanted a keyboard because we were partially getting this to replace our laptop. Of course, the Apple one would be what the Apple guys suggest, but in our Best Buy, our guy actually said to check this one out because he preferred it. For one, it's backlit, which was his main reason in addition to it being cheaper than the Apple one. So, he told us to look at both and decide for ourselves. Well, as soon as I saw this one, I knew I needed this one. Yes, it's backlit which is GREAT- it's just like the keyboard on my laptop in that way (I have the MacBook Air which I'm passing onto my husband as his toy). Also, this keyboard actually felt like my MacBook keyboard, more so than the Apple keypad that they mad for the Pro. I found that so odd that the Logitech one would feel more like my MacBook than the Apple one, but it did. The keys pushed down so much the same that within a few hours of having it at home, I was adjusted to typing on it like I was with my laptop. That's pretty amazing because adjusting from keyboard to keyboard can be a pain sometimes when the keys are off within millimeters of others. I highly recommend this one. The Pro locks onto it nicely and when using it, it's really so much like using my laptop that I don't miss it at all. If you go in and compare this one to the Apple version, I just don't see how you could ever turn this one down. The backlit keyboard and the comfort and familiarity of the keys in comparison to an actual laptop keyboard make it so worth it!

I love how sleek this case is. Not flashy, the backlight is awesome. I love the cord free charging too. The size is perfect and the material is nice and wipeable.

Better protection than the Apple keyboard as it covers the back as well. Less chance of damaging the connector between the pro and the keyboard. Very nice product!

I tested the apple keyboard, but for less money I found that the Logitech keyboard was the best choice for the following reasons. Better protection for the iPad and storage for the apple pencil. After using it I've found the feeling of the keys come close to a laptop, plus the keyboard illuminates the keys during use. Honestly I have no negatives for this product, it's the best keyboard folio for the iPad pro.

This product turns your IPad into another laptop. It’s easy to use and no charging the keyboard like so many other products. That was a huge selling point to me.

Keyboard is very good, but the case does not fold completely flat. It would be nice if there was more then 1 screen position but I guess the smart connector limits that.

This keyboard has a great feel and I love the backlit feature. It is fast and easy to use; pairing is not required, and charging isn't necessary. Just open the case, click the iPad in place, and away you go! However, if you don't want to use the keyboard, there's no way to tuck it away or fold it that protects the keys. The only option is too remove the iPad from the keyboard/case, and that's clumsy and leaves the iPad unprotected.

The case has remained sturdy with frequent use. Occasionally a device update message appears. I never can tell if the update happens, but it still works without problem.

When I bought my iPad Pro and was ready to buy a keyboard I looked at several options, Apple's keyboard and Logitech's Create. The Apple keyboard was excellent, however it did not have backlit keys or a row of keys for special keys. It was thinner than the Logitech but did not have a place to store the Pencil. Furthermore it didn't add the layer of protection to the iPad that the Logitech has.
