Its a good device, ergonomics and battery life are excellent. The screen is beautiful but when streaming it can get blurry. It all depends on your internet speed and the type of game you are streaming. Fast paced games like Forza are somewhat a let down but Im having a blast playing Starfield or even Cyberpunk.

The G Cloud is the best portable gaming device on the market. The ergonomics are great, the screen is 1080p, sharp and vibrant, the speakers are loud and clear, and you can add storage via SD Card. Playing is a joy. You can stream flawlessly from an Xbox, PC, PlayStation, or Xbox cloud, and you can play Android games. Emulation runs brilliantly, too. If you want to game on the go and have a steady and fast at-home network, this is the device to get.

I have a good gaming PC and really wanted a gaming handheld like a steam deck or the ally, but it felt like a waste or a downgrade to go to a mobile processor when I have a desktop with a 4090. I also didnt like the 2-3 hour battery life I heard about. This was a great option to get long battery life(at least ten hours between charges for me), a good display, and a comfortable controller. Worked perfectly with steam link. Also worked with Moonlight to stream non steam games from my Desktop like diablo 4. I haven’t tried cloud gaming much but game pass ultimate was fine during a quick test. Make sure you have good wifi and coverage where you plan to use this.

Purchased this the same day the nintendo switch 2 released. This came out in 2022 you may think its old tech so why spend so much money on it. I recommend buying it if your use case would be similar to mine. Now at home I own a gaming PC and xbox series s and was always bummed that I couldn't take them both on the go. Now with the G Cloud I have access to all my devices I own with cloud streaming. If this will be your one and only/all in one device then maybe look into a handheld gaming pc but if you already own devices similar to mine and just want access to them, then this is made for you. Also consider that this battery does last 12 hours and the 1080p screen 60hz is perfect and all you need when your out and about.

We're thrilled that its 12-hour battery life and 1080p 60Hz screen are perfect for your portable gaming needs, proving that sometimes, the right tech isn't always the newest, but the one that perfectly fits your lifestyle. Enjoy taking your entire gaming library with you! Logitech

When Logitech launched this thing, a lot of people scoffed at them and mocked the device. There were all kinds of complaints that it was underpowered, couldn’t play triple A titles, and it was overpriced. Let me tell you, I’ve had the G Cloud, the Ally Z1 Extreme that launched around the same time as this, and I have even tried the backbone with my iPhone 15 pro max. Yeah there are some awkward things about this and untethered performance has its drawbacks, but is it really worse than the competition? Cons * poorly optimized WiFi by default (turn off throttling) * Speakers on the bottom of the device (easy to block) * firmware updates take days to to finally show up * Several of the apps do not work until firmware updates * Some apps had to be searched to find updates * Lack of cellular is a missed opportunity * Only 60 Hz screen with no VRR * Too many buttons on the face of the device Pros * When update the Device is nearly perfect * Remote play means no compromise on visuals * Insanely long battery life * Good quality screen * 16x10 Aspect Ratio * Xbox, PC, PS, and Emulation from one device * Very lightweight * Excellent build quality * Storage expandable with SD card * Comfortable grip * Highly Undervalued Device So, let’s stop pretending most Z1 Extreme devices are truly a portable gaming system, as the battery life is severely limited in them. Also, they lack cellular radios as well. If you remove the main reason for owning most of the Z1 models, due to their own limitations, the G Cloud becomes a much more attractive system to own. I can sit out back by the pool, in the living room with the wife, in my office, in the restroom (yeah you know you would too) and experience excellent FPS (for a mobile device) without sacrificing visual effects. The best part is that I can game for about 10 hours, from anywhere in my house, before needing to recharge the battery. With my Ally Z1E, many of these games would be an hour or less, with compromised visual effects. If your use case is to have simple games and emulation when you’re away from home, and to untether yourself from a computer desk or somewhere else within your house, then this device makes far more sense than any of the other handhelds on the market. Overall, this is a fantastic gaming device for what it is and in my opinion the price is in line for where I would want it to be, If Logitech moves a few buttons around and maybe puts the speakers on the front, plus they add cellular, they will dominate this market. One final note, I sold my OG Z1E and purchased an Ally X, but in the end I returned the Ally X, in favor of the Logitech GCloud, because I would rather remote game than wait for my device to charge. Buy this while you still can.

I absolutely love this thing. Ive have it for about 3 weeks. Battery life is amazing. Audio is decent. Zero lag streaming games from my PC or my xbox on my network. Only gripe is the location of the right joystick vs buttons, but some remapping of the buttons makes it way more tolerable. Diablo 4 on this is exactly the experience that I was looking for.

I will start by saying I hope Logitech continues this handheld line. The design is excellent, very comfortable to hold. I love the screen, vibrant colors and bright enough for gaming while in the car. Besides cloud gaming, which all runs very well, I love that I can easily install my Android games on here. So if I am not cloud gaming, I am playing Diablo Immortal or Minecraft. Seriously, fantastic piece of hardware and glad I got it!

The concept of having a handheld do the heavyweight lifting of a PC has limitations. One is you will be compensating battery for performance. With the G cloud, as long as you have a strong Wi-Fi and a good internet connection, performances decent and battery life is amazing. I got this for my nephew, he connects to his Xbox and he absolutely loves it.p

Great handheld for its intended use of cloud gaming as well as native android games. Also does well with emulation, but there’s definitely some Logitech tax attached to this thing. If it was fifty less than the sale price i think its about where it should be, but Sony’s new handheld might make this look like a great value depending on where that lands on pricing.

I think this product unfairly tends to get bad press and reviews. Obviously, it needs to be understood this is for cloud gaming so isn't a Steam Deck, ROG Ally, or Nintendo Switch. The biggest negative I read is why not just buy a cheap controller and use phone. That is the competition for this device; however, typically your phone doesn't have an 7" screen with 16:9 aspect ratio (so phone screen will be smaller with black bars). Your phone also may have a camera on screen obstructing view. With this device I'm able to sit living room with family and full access to any game on my PS5, XBox series X, or PC through the various apps and dont have to mess around with phone. I'm pleased with purchase. Negatives: 1) It probably should be lower priced for what it does. 2) Cloud gaming does have some lag (even on my 1gig fiber). Moonlight app for PC is least laggy 3) Rog Ally has same screen size and resolution and can play PC games locally while also allowing streaming. ROG ally also has 120 refresh rate and Wifi 6E. But is also 2X the price. Overall, I've beem pleased with GCloud. It does what I was looking for (playing games away from game room but with full access to all my games on PS5, XBox Series X, PC).

So many people saying "who is this marketed for" "lacks power..." remember its a cloud console. I have almost all of the consoles in my posession, and saw this and decided to try it out. First off the battery on this is very impressive. This thing lasts for hours upon hours, with some games, it lasts for a day plus with moderate use. I have the google game pass and downloaded lots of games with the expandable sd card slot. Some games are on average graphic intensive and it has no problem running games on high or very high graphics. The weight of the unit is light and I prefer this over the weight (the weight, just the weight) of the steam deck if im going to be playing for a while. You dont get tired as much when your playing. I use it now for my xbox game pass going forward due to how light it is. The handles and ergonomics of the device is very well done, very comfortable. The speakers are very loud, with no distorted sounds coming from them at higher volumes. Controls are very well places, and again its very comfortable to use. It doesnt grt hot like other small consoles, and does not have a vent opening so the unit can cool down. It does run on android, and often android devices dont get supported well and leave them to rot....so keep that in mind, unless logitec will keep supporting this in the future, who knows. But i went along for the ride and i love it. Lets see how long ill have this in my possession.

I want to say first this is not meant to have power, this device is based of cloud play so you do need good internet at all times I suggest you make sure your net has not data cap either. I really do like this thing though, I almost forgot I was playing a cloud system so it does really well. No p.s remote play yet for the controls but I'm sure it's coming soon. In this current time cloud games will not have the same response time as a native game but like I said it was super close and you could hardly tell. Good first try Logitech! If you want native games I suggest spending extra money on a steam deck for that.... Works really well too!

If you know what you’re getting this thing is legit. It’s a cloud gaming console. I play both my Xbox and ps5 on it. I’m a father who very rarely gets to play my games. This allows me to let my family use the tv and I can still game. I could always move my consoles but I like them in the living room.
