Customers are saying

Customers praise the G633 Artemis Spectrum Gaming Headset's exceptional sound quality and comfortable design. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple devices and the convenient microphone features. However, some users find the headset's fit and weight to be less than ideal, and there are some concerns about the software and USB cable. Overall, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs the negative comments regarding fit, weight, and software issues.

Great headset, likely great for pc gaming. I bought it to use with my xbox one as well. My issue is that when used with the xbox the boom mic is disabled. The mic that pics up your voice is in the line cable on the volume control. The mic works fine for as far as audio quality to those you are chatting with. But it doesn't pic up your voice well enough to mic monitor yourself (hear yourself). Because the cans are pretty well sealed you can't tell how loud you are talking. I ended up with one ear off then took them back.

Got this after my old ones broke (cm storm). Has great surround in game. Sound quality for music is great also. Gets tight on your ears. Dampens outside noise.

Cons Would receive 5 stars but I do have 6 complaints, 1. all the instructions are pictures 2. Since there are no words I am having to contact logitech support to find the setting that repeats my mic in my own headset 3. Some might consider the rainbow techno equalizer on your head cool, but it feels silly at my age 4. The box does not direct you to the Logitech website to download the software for the product, but it is there, many features 5. The software is actually javas script and pictures as well, so you just click the picture and it brings up those options (no words) 6. The Braided usb connector/cord is actually sold separately on the logitech site and did not come with the headset, braided is reinforced Pros 1. 7.1 surround sound, sounds like a dream, as did the g35 2. Better fit, no need for interchangeable head pads, as it auto fits like a dream and is comfortable 3. The usb cable actually detaches, less chance for cable kinks Once I have time to figure out all the ioptions, by hunting them down, I am certain I would recommend it as it is the upgrade to the now discontinued version of the g35, by any means do not buy the g930 or any other wireless model if you plan on using it for djing, the wireless mechanism makes voice horrible, go wired

G633's are a great headset for any level of gamer. Fit very comfy on my head and I love the mute buttons on the back of the headset. The lights look nice! SOUND IS GREAT! My only complaint is they are a little more heavy and unfortunately for me I still have a soft spot on the top of my head and long gaming hours it can hurt. The mic is also a little more sensitive to noise but nothing you cant fix in settings.

I thought surround sound was just some gimmick but wow do these things sound great, it's especially noticeable in multiplayer games. They are pretty comfy on your head and I like that you can use them with a regular 3.5mm jack. The RGB lighting is nice but I don't care too much for it. The ear cups are comfy and your ears won't get sweaty. They do have some weight to them, and That takes a bit to get used to. The software that comes with them is easy to use and has an equalizer. Love that. Over all very happy with them.

First, the good: Great sound and mic quality Comfortable (I wear this headset for hours and it doesn't bother me) Ear cup buttons are a huge step up from inline controls in my opinion They're Logitech. I like Logitech's gaming suite, and their products are of good quality. Now the not so good: Size, these things are large. This isn't a problem if you're just using them at home for gaming sessions, but they certainly would make a fashion statement in public. The price isn't great, but in the end I think it was worth it. The neutral: Corded vs. Wireless, I went with these over the wireless option for two main reasons; price (way cheaper for corded) and batteries. I personally don't mind having a corded headset as I'm sitting right next to my computer, but if you want to be able to move around and have the extra cash, I would spring for the wireless version of these. About the customization: Being able to go into the gaming suite and change around your equalizer settings to get them just right is a cool (but novel) thing. And in the end, the only time you're going to see lights on this set is when you aren't using them. So take those features as you wish. TL;DR Great headset, good sound, good mic, big design. A great pickup for someone who wants good quality but something a little more fancy than a basic headset.

The headset is very nice and the color change is fun to mess with. I have found the sound quality very good and the headset comfy. I have also found that when I use it with my xbox my friends will complain of an echo in my mic. I have also had an intermittent problem with losing the sound for slight movement in the usb cable.

Hello, if you want an amazing true 7.1 surround sound headset that provides bass and all around everything you could ever ask for. LOOK NO FARTHER! Logitech has actually out done themselves this time around. The looks are actually backed up by quality with these. It has led lighting on the headset with customization for colors. These are extremely light weight. Not a single thing feels cheap. The side panels on the headset are magnetic (so are astro A40 and A50 headsets). You get some amazing software off logitechs website for these that test the surround sound and allows you to change lighting. The mic is a hideaway mic that mutes when you lift it up and it even extends outward about ~2-3 inches. I bought these yesterday (10/8/2016) and I wore them for 4 hours straight out of the box to make sure i wasn't taking them back. I will not be taking them back lol. Best headset I have ever owned 10/10 would buy every time. I'm looking to buy the G933 model now. So, you've gotten this far. Let me convince you a bit as to why this is the headset for you. Do you own an Xbox one/PC/PS4? This works with all three. No adapter required. You have a dedicated switch on the headset for PC/USB and Xbone/PS4/3.5mm. Not sold? I tired my friends Astro A40s. I will pick this headset over that every time. The Artemis Spectrum is a tie in the Comfort area. Sound is relatively the same but new technology gives the logitech the edge. The G633 has better bass response over the A40. Better price for the headset. Personally, better looks as well. Hope this helps you decide. Please don't listen to what any negative BS there are on these. You will not regret your choice here.

I will start off by saying, outright, that compared to the Corsair Void and the Razer Kraken, the Artemis is the undisputed best of the three. I will go into this more later. I generally don't buy dedicated headsets; i much prefer the sound quality of high end headphones and generally switch between various headphones for listening to music. Bearing that in mind, I didn't like the clutter of using a clip-on mic ( Zalman ) with my headphones, and game sound and music monitoring are completely different beasts, so I decided to go the route of the single USB cable for convenience's sake. I generally avoid large purchases that I will likely regret, but this is not one of those cases. The G633 ( and by extension the 933) is one of the best headsets you can buy. It looks great, is easy to setup, and sounds fantastic. I would say even objectively, it has the best use of RGB lighting on a headset. Whereas the Void and the Kraken simply illuminate the company logo on a small area, the G633 lights up the logo on the side and a catchy strip on the side which, admittedly, gives it a sort of futuristic, "techy" look. While YOU won't see it very often, it's much nicer than the alternatives. As far as build quality goes, just about every piece is plastic, but everything is thick with a nice weight to it. The memory foam cushions are nice and soft, but take some time to break in ( about a week or so) before they become really comfortable. Oddly enough, one of the minute features I like on this headset is the inclusion of adjustment level markets on the headband so that you can match up the ear cups easily. As far as sound quality goes, I would compare these easily to about any entry level audiophile headphone; somewhere between the Brainwavz HM5 and the Audio-Technica M50X. One of the saving features is the built in equalizer, which you can use to make the sound as flat as bassy as needed. The "flat" setting is a little underwhelming, but the "bass" setting works for just about everything and is pretty much perfect for gaming. While I don't normally use the virtual surround sound, it does seem to work fairly well in most games and offers an acceptable surround sound immersion that you wouldn't normally get from a headset of this price. The mic quality, from what I'm told, is about what you'd expect from a higher end microphone. It seems to be somewhat clearer than the Zalman clip-on mic, but is MUCH MUCH higher quality than the Void ( I'd say the mic quality is the weakest feature of the Void ). There are only two problems I have with this headset and one isn't entirely the fault of the headset itself; rather Logitech and their software. The G633/G933 feature four buttons on the back of the left cup. The lower most is the mic toggle, the other three can be used for additional features or whatever macro you'd like to use them for. Logically, you can use these for the surround sound toggle, equalizer switch, and headphone mute. The problem is, all of the buttons feel very similar, so you have to remember which is what, and the mic is more easily muted by simply raising it back up. The Logitech Gaming software, while once lightweight and response, has become weighed down and laggy. I have a high end computer with an adequately OCed CPU and RAM to spare; but the software really likes to lag and crash unexpectedly. An update or two since I've gotten the headset has mostly fixed the crashes, but has not fixed the access time. Generally not important, but if you need to pull it up on the fly to fix or edit something, hope you don't have a split second emergency in whatever game you're playing.

I abandoned my wireless G930 set for this wired pair. They are comfortable for *any* extended period of time, and it has a cable that allows you to mix-in audio from a phone as well as take calls (using either selectable the boom mic, or a traditional handsfree condenser mic) Of particular note, the 7.1 DTS:X surround sound is *strikingly* good. Putting every other surround sound implementation I've heard to date, to shame. I actually prefer it to my discrete 7.1 setup in my office. Oh, and RGB LEDs. I've had one friend purchase on my recommendation, who is pleased as well, but did recently have an issue w/the braided usb cable not working properly. So there's that. But, for PC gaming - you can't really go wrong w/this set of cans.

Very good headsets. The surround sound provided with the Logitech Gaming Software is pristine. You can customize all the RGB and sound settings with any .exe file/application that runs. If you have a Logitech Gaming Mouse/Keyboard you can synchronize those as well. My only qualm was how flimsy the USB cable to the ear cup was. After months of use, it would wiggle out whenever I shrugged my shoulders (I do lift a lot). If you can spare the extra cash, dish it out for the wireless headset instead and save yourself that trouble.

Got these to replace my long, longtime Logitech G35s after the earpads finally gave out after ~10 years of use. My first reaction taking them out of the box was they felt VERY lightweight (and assumed cheaper made) compared to the G35s, however I've been pleasantly surprised by how sturdy they have been. The sound quality is actually much better than the G35s, and as an additional bonus, when waking the computer up from sleep mode, you do not have to reset the 7.1 surround on the headset like I used to with the G35s. The 7.1 surround is great in games, you can actually hear things moving behind you, and on which side to be able to turn and defend yourself. As I first stated, this headset is VERY lightweight, and combined with the generous width of the ear cups are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They also have 5 very easily reachable, programmable buttons, as well as a volume wheel on the back of the left earcup, can set those button to do whatever you desire!. As added eye-candy (using as USB), they also glow, and the colors can be set as a solid color, or set to cycle through the color spectrum as well. Definitely a cool feature. I'm very happy I chose these, and they feel like they should last just as long as my last headset, which was also made by Logitech.

When i saw this headset on sale for 98.00 i figured i would give it a try since i had been looking for one for a while, and I'm glad i did. the 7.1 surround sound really makes a difference when gaming. I fired up skyrim again (been a few years since i last played) and from all the new sounds i was hearing it felt like a new game! I tried them on my ps4 and was happy to see that the surround sound works perfectly. If only microsoft would update the xbox one to work with them that would be nice. The headset feels a little tight at first, but as you wear it down it starts to fit better. over all happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

I read mostly positive reviews on these before purchasing and was not let down. The sound quality is incredible and the comfort is top notch!! The plastic has held up to my many accidental flingings from the desk when the cable gets caught on my desk chair as I rotate in my normal fashion (I am half human, half squirrel). I would buy another set or recommend this set in an ear drum beat!

I bought this needing a good wired headset. I have owned many headsets in the past and this is the best wired, if not best overall headset. The sound quality is amazing. Game changing sound. Comparing to my PS gold or any turtle beach headset (I have owned many dolby versions), this blows them out of the water. Fit and feel is great. They are comfortable, but slightly tight on a bigger head. The mic boom has a light on it that goes red when you mute. Its a nice visual. It also looks cool with the lighting on the ears. The mic is ok, not the best or worst. But Im not listening to it so Im basing it on my teammates feedback. I would buy it again over any other option given the choice again. Its a great headset for the price.

This headset is a little tight, so beware if you have a big head, it will require some breaking in. Otherwise, the sound quality is great, they're super comfy, the mic is nice and people on the other end of skype, discord, and other voice programs all say they can hear me fine, even without the mic boom extended. A host of nice, convenient features make this a really solid buy and if you can get it on sale, like I did, don't hesitate to pick them up. Flipping the mic boom up mutes it and hides it in a really attractive channel so it basically disappears. The Logitech software is really easy to use, especially if you already have other Logitech gaming peripherals. It's flat, responsive, and very intuitive.
