Customers recognize the high quality, responsive keys and customizable RGB backlighting as significant strengths of the G815 LIGHTSYNC keyboard. Many appreciate the ease of use and the inclusion of convenient features like volume control. However, some find the price to be a drawback, and others mention challenges with the software and the lack of a wrist rest. The need for two USB ports is also noted as a potential inconvenience.

I replaced a very loud mechanical keyboard with this one to reduce the annoying noise when I typing. My wife is now much happier. The keyboard is very snappy and I like the responsiveness and feel of the mechanical keys when I'm working. I haven't gamed with this keyboard but for everyday use it is fantastic. The colors are also nice, and the light movements can be changed on the keyboard or with the optional software.

I was looking for a new keyboard that allowed customizable RGB set ups. I have always been a fan of Logitech so I might be biased. The keys feel great and the construction is solid, metal face and plastic back. The keyboard feet don't feel flimsy. The software was easy to figure out after watching a youtube video and playing around with it. Paired with a Logitech mouse my setup switches shortcuts and color scheme automatically depending which application I am working in or game playing.

The keyboard is sturdy and has a quality feel to it, no flex to speak of. The housing seems to be anodized aluminum and is fairly thin and compact for a full-size keyboard. The media keys are a nice touch without taking up too much space. The low profile keys take a little getting used to but they have a good feel and are quite comfortable to type on. I'd say the switches have a lighter actuation than Cherry blues but still have a satisfying click. I'm not usually a fan of clicky switches but these aren't overly loud. The space bar seems sturdy enough and actuates correctly if pressed on the corners.

I have been using Razer keyboards for over a decade but loved the look and feel of the Logitech G815. I originally wanted the G915 which was more expensive, but I am using it for a desktop PC so I did not need something wireless or something I had to remember to charge. The RGB lighting is easy to set up using the Logitech software.

The current market of keyboards has a lot of variation. The Logitech - G815 is a great example of a low-profile keyboard with excellent RGB lighting. The response is great and using this keyboard for school as well as gaming is terrific. Typing long papers on this keyboard is easy and comfortable and gaming with it is amazing as well. I enjoy that it is not a compact keyboard and instead has the number pad and additional programmable macro keys off to the side. If you are willing to dish out the price, it is a must buy,

This is an awesome keyboard, super sleek looking and compact. The clicking is just the right amount of noise. Pairing this up with Logitechs g502 mouse looks super good in my setup and can be paired up to sync for that sweet rgb lighting. I would definitely recommend purchasing. I didn’t go for the wireless version just because i didn’t want to keep plugging it in for charging every so often because i know i want to keep my keyboard lights on always

Was skeptical at first, came from a Corsair K70 that I loved, but it was time to replace it. I tried the G910 but it wasn’t for me. I was comfortable with this keyboard immediately and the switches feel/sound amazing. Build quality is also a strong point, this thing is solid. The only flaw I’ve found is that the secondary characters aren’t illuminated and are near impossible to see in a dim room along side the illuminated characters.

The keyboard is great. The low profile switches are clicky, the media control buttons are responsive and offer no delay, and the whole thing feels solid and high quality. However, G Hub loses connection with the keyboard every other time the computer awakes, and my profiles stop working. I'm on a Mac, so maybe the experience is better on Windows, but I have no way of testing it. If you don't care a lot about your macros working properly every time or if you have other software like Keyboard Maestro or Better Touch Tool that handles macros for you (like I do), this is a great buy.

This has to be the best gaming keyboard out yet. And for anyone who plays games and tend to hit unintended keys, this keyboard will take getting used to but the low profile keys and all around feel of the keyboard is as satisfying as it looks. And has helped me be more accurate with my intended keys. And compared to all low profile keyboards none are as satisfying as this that I have tried and used.

I normally don't love clicky keyboards because they're too loud, but this one is about on-par with tactile in terms of loudness. The keys don't echo too much, they are lighter quicker clicks.
I tested all the keyboards at Best Buy and liked this one the most. I'm really glad I went with it. It is absolutely my favorite gaming keyboard I've ever owned, and it's my 5th keyboard (my other 4 were a Razer, 2 Corsairs, and a Steelseries).
Can't comment on longevity until I'd had it a few years, but everything else is amazing. The look and feel is very high quality. The keyboard is thin, hefty, and beautiful. The lighting is AWESOME. You do not need any software for basic lighting configuration, unlike other gaming keyboards you can use a button combination on the keyboard to cycle between lighting configurations.
The scroll wheel is smooth, the keys feel great, and the legs are REALLY nice. My old Razer and Corsair legs would always collapse randomly, but these legs pull out smoothly and lock into place. You can tell the quality is there. No slippage, no collapsing.
My only complaint is no braided cable!

Hey! Hey there, thanks for the fantastic review of the G815! We're thrilled to hear you're enjoying it and that it stands out from your other keyboards. The quieter clicky GL Click switches are definitely a favorite among some gamers, and we pride ourselves on making a quality product that feels good to use.

love this product. Actually bought it to reduce the noise I produce at home but still maintain the clicky feel I like and it still maintains great sound at each keystroke. In terms of performance, I couldn't complain at all. The response time when I use this to game seems just as good as any other competing keyboard. Would definitely recommend if your looking for something a bit quieter but still want your clicks.

You can't get a better keyboard for gaming in my opinion. Yes it cost a bit, but you get what you pay for and then some. Keys feel great, there's 3 models with different levels of clickey feedback. It's responsive, and comfortable to use. Customizable macro too

This keyboard has been so awesome since I got it. You can change the colors of the keyboard and design it yourself or you can use presets made by other people! Of course there’s also the default RGB settings as well which aren’t bad at all. The clicks version is good as well. Lastly, it seems to actually be quite easier And quicker to clean then other keyboards.

Fantastic keyboard. The click is perfect and the buttons are nice and low unlike other gaming board with huge buttons and spaces between them. The lighting effects are very good and the G1-G5 buttons are in the perfect place for Macros. It's expensive but sooooo good. My only gripe with this keyboard is price....but I bought it anyway.
