Customers are delighted by the G910 Orion Spark Mechanical Gaming Keyboard's high-quality keys, amazing key travel, and vibrant RGB backlighting. Many appreciate the keyboard's ease of use, extensive customization options, and fast response time. However, some customers find the price to be a significant drawback. The lack of USB ports is another frequently cited area for improvement.

First keyboard had a few stuck keys. I tried to fix it myself, however, just too many keys stuck. I returned it for a replacement. My second keyboard seems to work fine, no stuck keys on this one. It is a mechanical keyboard, but feels different from other models I've owned (Razer, Cherry). The primary difference in feel relates to the individual keys. Each key almost has a "valley" built in. I like it, but it is different, just have to get used to it. The lighting effects are interesting, but basically an added "nice" but not necessary. Reason for not giving it 5 stars = Haven't been able to completely get the feel for the keys yet. I'm hoping to, and really want to love this keyboard, just haven't got there yet....
The arx app for my phone....completely not worth it. Looks like it was an attempt to lure in consumers, but it serves no purpose for me whatsoever.

The Romer-G switch is actually good.

I will begin by saying that I originally avoided this keyboard for two reasons: criticism of the new Romer-G microswitch that Logitech created for this keyboard and the design of the keycaps, again, which Logitech decided was probably a good idea.
So let's talk about the Romer-G switches. First off, I like mechanical switches and am used to the feel of red and blue Cherry MX switches. I am also familiar with the feel of Razer's in-house switches and am not a fan. You will not get the click of a Cherry MX Blue and you will not get the tactile feedback of the Cherry MX red switch. Early reviews I read claimed the Romer-G switches felt "mushy," a point I disagree with wholeheartedly. They still have a very responsive and clicky feel, it's just... different.
The Romer-G switches also have two other redeeming factors. The first being that they have the best lighting of any RGB mechanical key currently on the market. The light is directly centered and unobstructed--and quite bright. Aside from this, while I'm not entirely sure of the specifics of engagement weight and all that, I can say it takes a feather touch to activate a key, so double tapping ( for games that require that sort of thing ) is done with ease and swift typing is a breeze.
While the keycaps aren't as bad as most reviews claimed they were, they're not exactly for everyone and I would not use them for normal everyday typing; in fact, they kinda hurt the fingers for that purpose. Thankfully, Logitech offers a steeply priced replacement set, but the price is worth it. I still use some of the original inward curved keys for certain keys just for the tactile difference, but for the most part the original keycaps were a REALLY BAD design idea, much like the palm rest. There is really no saving the palmrest on this thing regardless of which one you put on it ( it comes with one with a big ol' surface area for the left hand, but both are pretty awkward and the molding prevents you from using any standard straight rest).
The inclusion of dedicated media keys puts the G910 above a lot of other keyboards, but the loss of the headphone/mic jack from the G510 is sort of disappointing since that allowed a cheap upgrade over poor onboard audio sound.
The only other gripe I have with this keyboard is, much like with the Artemis, the Logitech Gaming software. Back when the G600 and the G510 were my de facto Logitech products, the software was light and easy on the system; it loaded instantly. That is not so anymore and the drivers for the keyboard itself seems to have well known issues. The most of which being random lag when typing which appears to be isolated to the "key press" lighting effect, but never seems to happen while playing a game; only when typing elsewhere.
All in all, the G910 is an adequate replacement for the G510 and a very good choice for anyone looking to step up into the world of mechanical keyboards. It has its downsides, just like about any other product and most people won't want to pay this price for flashy lights, but you get what you pay for ( and a little more when you have to buy the replacement caps ). Definitely wouldn't buy for full MSRP, but it's a very good option when on sale.

Logitech made their own switches, a mix between MX Cherry Reds, but with less needed finger precision and a lower travel time. The dips in the keycaps are perfect for hitting the right keys and comfortable to type with. I'm an average ~100 wpm typer on a regular dome keyboard and my touch typing has only improved. They keys register immediately and accurately every time. The new Logitech mechanical switch is comfortable and more forgivable than typing on MX Cherry keyboards. I believe the Japanese have made a much better switch than the Germans here. The RGB lighting is less important to me, but an awesome addition with much simpler software to set it up than the Corsair keyboards. The large wrist rest for my left wrist when gaming is comfortable and I was able to replace the cloth one I was currently using. If you're worried about the keycaps, you can always replace them as Logitech has come out with normal keycaps that you can buy separately. They pop out just like any normal mechanical keyboard when you want to switch out keycaps. You may find that you like these a lot more than you ever expected once you get to type on the originals, though. That was my biggest worry until I got the keyboard and realized I was worrying about nothing. Very forgiving on mis-hits

I've tried numerous keyboards, but this one takes the cake. I tried it at my local bestbuy and the feel and options was perfect for gaming/typing. cherry mx keys were the norm, but logitech's new design definitely surpassed it. once you download logitech's software, you can customize the key lights to do different patterns. i like how the volume isn't a button, but a wheel. it puts laziness to another level. it does take some time to get used to typing on it like everyone else has said, but trust me, im a typist and i got thru it.

Love the customizing of the keyboard LED lighting. You do have to get used to the mechanical keys if you had been using a membrane keyboard. Key response is great, rollover is fine. Only downside is the price, just a tad expensive.

Watched plenty of reviews online about this keyboard and the blackwidow chroma and decided on the g910 and couldn't be happier.
Some positives that the reviews didn't quite cover:
+Quiet- I live with my gf and the computer is in our room so I couldn't go with a standard mechanical keyboard. When I say quiet I mean that I can't tell the difference between this and a membrane keyboard.
+Keycaps- This is what I was initially worried about. The reviews talk about how the keys are an abomination and make standard typing difficult. This made me nervous to buy the keyboard online so I went in store to try it first and what I found was that I hardly noticed the different shape. The reviews seemed really exaggerated. Not only could I barely notice them, but what I little difference I did notice has seemed to make typing easier. I don't know if the people that complain about the shape of the keys use the proper typing technique, but it has definitely made my keystrokes more accurate by preventing me from hitting two keys at once.
As far as things you can easily find on reviews let me re-emphasize how good the color quality is on this keyboard. There is 0 light bleed, unlike the blackwidow chroma (where assigning one key to red and the neighboring key to blue would make a purple in between them) and the keys themselves are so evenly lit that it almost appears that the color is just a decal over the key when it's in direct light.
I can't find any real negatives for this keyboard, but if you're on the fence just go into a bestbuy and type on a display model yourself to see if you like the unique keycaps.

I've owned, worked with and built literally hundreds of PCs and in all that time since 1990 I can honestly say this is the nicest overall keyboard I have encountered. I've owned other gaming keyboards by Logitech and Razer and this is the best by far. Nice quiet short throw keys and the durability of a mechanical. If you should ever need to replace anything Logitech sells reasonably priced spare parts for it too. I don't expect buying another keyboard for a very long time.

it's a bit on the pricey side but is definitely worth it. I like the feel of the keys when I rest my fingers on them and press them, and I like that it's a lot more quiet than the cherry mx red keyboards I tried. Macros and individual key lighting are easy to setup with Logitech's software. The only thing I thought was my smartphone plugs into the keyboard but it does not, it's just a holder for it. The smartphone software doesn't do much as of yet, at least not that I have seen.

Only problem I've had with this keyboard was when I first got it, the space bar would stick. After pulling the key off the keyboard and resetting it stopped rubbing against the chassis of the keyboard. Overall it was a good purchase. Logitech makes quality products, I previously was a Razor product fan but have since replaced my razor keyboard, headset, and mouse with the Logitech G910, G600, and G930, and I couldn't be happier with the performance they provide.
On a side note if there were any keyboard I would be more interested in would be the corsair k95 seeing how its made completely out of light weight aluminum instead of plastic, and has a all around high quality feel.

I have to say that love this keyboard, so it does have the clacking sound people crave. It is mechanical but not unnecessarily loud like most. The ability to pair the keyboard with your phone to view computer stats is a good concept but not too convenient to use. The back lighting looks great. The nine macro keys can be used for more than gaming. I have mine set to copy, past, save, undo, and other Windows shortcuts. They have proven to be handy.
