I was literally able to consolidate all 4 of my remote controls into one device. Once you read & understand the instructions, the setup becomes easy. Don't be intimidated by the negative reviews. The Harmony Smart Control lives up to its name. This device will be around for many years. It will do many other things than just control your media equipment. It is a steal for what it is capable of.

Once you get this set up the way you want...keys and functions, etc...then it works like a charm. Trying to set it up was quite the challenge as doing so through computer software would not work properly...had to use phone software in order to program buttons correctly or even at all. Love it now that all is working way I want it though!!

This remote is comfortable to hold and is overall easy to set up. My only issue is the size and shapes of the buttons as I am constantly having to turn on a nearby light to see what I need to push.
When setting up the "Activities" I ran into an issue with "Recall" function on my Dish receiver. Ann from Harmony was very helpful and over the course of a few days and e-mail conversations was able to solve the issue.
The integration with my Alexa Echo Dot and Dish works pretty well. Can tell Alexa to "tell harmony" to increase volume, turn connected items on or off or perform multifunction activities like Play BluRay Movie.
Not perfect but accurate enough that it's a time saver and much easier than using 4 remotes. I would give 5 stars if it was a backlit remote.

This is my second logitech remote and my main reason for buying was the Alexa integration. I am slowly assembling voice activated electronics as I find them for reasonable prices.
The home hub functions to turn my entertainment center on and off but overall that is about it. It works well but I am hoping that things like voice activated volume control will be coming in future updates. I find it is limited in what it can do but for the price I paid I can live with that. I just ordered a generic RGB light strip with IR remote and I am hoping I can program the remote to work with the home hub. If I can do that and have Alexa change colors and turn the strip on and off I will be one happy camper. This will alleviate the need for paying an arm and a leg for hue light strips.

Absolutely LOVE this remote. New tv, sound, dvd and old dvr all had at least one remote. This one was recommended by the install tech over another model as our sound bar sits in front of our tv and we had some stretching issues with other remotes. This one allows for easy placement of the RF receivers (no stretching) and easy walk through programming. I guess it might also control some lighting, etc? So, no there yet. And now my table only has one remote instead of 5 or 6 so there is plenty of room for popcorn.

It does what is supposed to. And is smaller and has fewer button for ease and simplicity. Works good most of the time. Sometimes it gets hung up and doesn't work as well. Prob would make sense to spend a little more and get the touch screen version instead of this. I have to use my phone a lot to adjust things. But all in all, good value for the cost.

I have installed a number of Logitech Harmony remotes for myself and friends over the last 12+ years. I had originally loved them, and found them very dependable (my original lasted 10 years). But over recent years, found their functionality getting confused and their quality dropping. Well, they're back. I love how they made the remote itself simple, and put the brains in the receiver. Remote no longer has to be regularly recharged, and it simply works.

This remote was a breeze to set up once all of my device models were catalogued which was easier than it sounds. Setting up via the app created 3 unique power on sequences... One for the DirecTV DVR, one for the Blue Ray player for movies, and one for the Apple TV. And best of all the volume control works on the same remote! It works perfectly and all the other device remotes (5) are now in a drawer. You can also use the app to control the devices. This remote is small and sleek. LOVE IT!!!

This really simplifies things. Set up was easy, and although I was able to link the interface to Google Home, I have not fully adapted to using it on the regular. Same goes for the app on my phone. It will hopefully come with time. The included remote has nice lines. I only wish the remote had page up/down buttons that work with the guide on the cable box. I think you can reprogram the buttons to work, but out of the box it is channel up/down only.

It's a very simple remote and a simple configuration process. I have these "Events" configured where it will turn on my DirecTV, actual TV, and Vizio SB2821 soundbar all at once, the remote in this mode acts like my DirecTV remote controlling the box but also the volume on my Vizio Soundbar that doesn't support ARC.
Then I have another "Event" configured where I control the Roku OS in my TV and the Vizio soundbar together. The remote now natively controls my TV.
I can easily switch between the "Events" with the push of a button on the remote, super easy. The IR blaster seems excellent, zero issues. The app/setup was amazingly simple, nice piece of software.
This remote really saved me in my maste bedroom where the Vizio Soundbar just wouldn't play nice with the other two devices. The feeling of the remote in your hand is absolutely high quality, even my 8 year old was impressed.

This is a wonderful remote for someone who is very picky. If you don't like the way a button works, select a different function and it's done. I wanted the channel up/down to function as page up/down. Took me 2 minutes to fix it. When you add a component to your system, just add it to your list & you're done. The remote is a piece of art and since it is RF, you don't have to point it at the device. I don't use an iOS or Android device feature, as the remote is much more ergonomic.

Really like the remote. I had a Harmony One and it worked great for me but the remote was very susceptible to static shock. I went through 2 expensive remotes that way (charger one time and the hard buttons on the remote the second time). This Smart control remote will not have issues with the static because it does not plug in. Even if it does go out you still have your phone or iPad to control it with. One thing I noticed is that I will sometimes try to use the remote or phone and ill see the light flashing on the hub when I press a button but my receiver won't do anything. I've noticed I need to sometimes wait about a minute and then it will start working. Not something I had to worry about with the Harmony One. Maybe there will be a fix for this. Overall, very happy with this remote.

I've been out of the Harmony remote game for a while. I've decided to get back in the waters with this basic combo package for my master bedroom media setup. It has everything I could need in that setting! The ability to set scenes such as turning on the Xbox one, TV, Sound bar, lowering the house AC and turning off the lights all with a push of a single button is amazing! My only complaint is that the remote is very basic and not backlit. So sometimes it becomes a little tricky feeling your way around the remote in the dark. Would recommend this product to anyone if you can grab it on the sale price of 70.00. The full retail price isn't quite worth it in my honest opinion!

I've been looking at this remote for some time now and went ahead and purchased it when it was a deal of the day. I've owned several Logitech remotes over the years with the majority of them being the type to have a screen. Much to my surprise, I absolutely love this remote more than any of the others I've owned with screens. It's very responsive, easy to setup, fits nicely in your hand and is easy to operate. Highly recommend.
