Easy to use and handle. Great track pad. The size is perfect.

SO, this is my second unit, in a 5 year span, love the integration of a track pad and the back lit keys; comes in handy when watching a movie on my favorite websites. Battery last a long time with average use, even on HIgh usage (working from home) i was only charging every 3-4 weeks out of time. Overall a great contender out there, yes its big, yes its heavy, but it feels like a quality product, surprised a updated version (dont like the newer ones) doesn't have all the feautures this one has, button on left top for clicker.mute and volume buttons right above the trackpad.. and much more! Long live logitech!@

This keyboard has full size keys and works great. I use it from my couch with the computer connected to my TV. The lighted keys are very visible in a dark room. The battery last a long time. The touch pad is very responsive.

The backlight keyboard is so nice in darker 'theatre' room. Keys seem to have a much better feel than the K400 also. Get what you pay for it seems here. Not even sure what to say about rechargeable battery, I forget to charge it so lasts way longer than a week before I accidently leave it plugged in charge.

Yes, I know, giving a pair of these to my kids for their bedrooms was tech indulgence at it's best, but they have a good charge time (my son tells me his has lasted a month on one charge), they are kid tested durable, and easy to use. They are little small for my big hands, but I'm not using them.

I have a laptop I use for media. It is connected to flat screen TV to watch videos on. It is a pain to go back and forth though. I was going to get a wireless mouse when I saw this. Just what I needed. It is nice and compact and feels like a laptop keyboard and it has a large mousepad with buttons. I don't like tapping and turned it off. The instructions didn't work. It connects but is not shown as device name but as other. You download the software to change options like turning off tapping. To me tapping is annoying, any time you put down your finger too hard it counts as a tap.

I use this with my PC connected to my TV. I love the built in battery that you just charge when needed. And the built in touch pad is nice having everything all in one, but personally I miss my number pad. The back lighting is very nice and the keyboard feels very nice and well made!

Great keyboard, very rigid and long range. Backlight is great when using it on a dark room. Sad part is that I can’t find any other products like it

This is a really great keyboard to use with a home theater TV. The size is perfect and having a back light is great. I'm not sure why Logitech went with a rechargeable battery, I think if they stuck with AA batteries, it would make this keyboard a little less expensive.

The good: looks good and functions great. Its rechargeable, lights up and is a pleasure to type on during htpc sessions. It includes multiple connection options so many devices are compatible. Nice software to keep track of battery life and edit key functions. The bad: A very nice keyboard but its overpriced compared other excellent logitech offerings like the k400 plus @29.99. Bottom line: if you're looking for a great all in one keybord that lights up, had rechargeable batteries, and multiple connection types, then the k830 is a good purchace however when compared to cheaper solutions with equal performance and more thought out design decisions the cost of the k830 may leave you feeling like you paid too much.

My faithful MS All in one Media Keyboard bit the dust and unfortunately BBY did not offer a replacement. I went for this keyboard hoping it would actually be an upgrade considering it was nearly 4x the price. I feel it's an adequate replacement if not necessarily superior. The placement of the left hand mouse button is not ideal, and the touch pad in general is not as solid feeling as the Microsoft unit that died on me. I do like the idea of the rechargeable battery but I only replaced the AAAs once or twice in 2 years with the MS model. I am concerned that the battery may die on me while using the board and have to actually plug it in to charge. This would be very inconvenient in my living room (it's being used for my HTPC). The backlit key feature is nice, and I do like Logitech's app for customizing some of the features.

Nice size and weight. Was able to connect to my laptop no issues, however, getting it to work with my Samsung smart TV took a bit of getting setup. Overall nice addition if you browse a fair amount on your TV

I use this with my HTPC/Gaming setup in the living room and couldn't be happier. The size is ideal, and having a track pad built in is a luxury. It supports gestures like pinch zoom, two finger scrolling and more. The backlight is a plus and the construction is fantastic. Battery life is pretty stellar to the point you'll often forget it even needs to be charged in the first place.

The battery life seems to be quite good, and the back light is very helpful but not over powering or distracting. The range for me is irrelevant, and have not tested it, so I cannot speak to that. I just wanted something that doesn't have a 10 key. Charging seems to be about standard, and practically 0 lag time on startup to usage (great for getting into diagnostics or BIOS). The arrow keys are a little small, but, it's a compact keyboard, so, just a matter of muscle memory. I don't use the touchpad for the mouse, and sometimes accidentally touch it, but, otherwise it is a great keyboard. I would like the option to disable the mouse without disabling the hardware in Device Manager, but, it may be there and I just can't find it. Otherwise, it's a great little keyboard.

The keyboard is very responsive when typing and has a nice feel about it. Very crisp key taps. It's well lit, however it would be nice if the keyboard would stay lit for a longer period of time after the last key stroke. It stays on for about 6 seconds before going dark, and will light up again when another key is struck. Having it stay lit longer allows the user to look away or look at the screen to make any adjustments. From what I can tell, there is no way to change the duration. Battery life is super long, and the brightness of the keyboard is adjustable. Would highly recommend. Nothing better than a Logitech, and the K830 is a nice addition to any home computer or home theater.

Battery charges quickly and lasts a long time. Easy and strong connection. Keys have good tactile feel and are responsive. Light and small for travel but good size feel. Worth the purchase

This was easy to setup with my Samsung Smart TV. A keyboard is much easier than using the remote to type. The keyboard is a nice size and lightweight. I like the backlit feature.

This wireless keyboard fits my needs perfectly and was on sale for a great price. It's a good size. Not too big, not too small. I particularly like the touch pad mouse feature.

Great keyboard. Bought this to use on one of my android TV devices and it works great and having the keys light up is a plus. I've had this for a least 2 weeks and haven't charged it yet

Excellent keyboard. I love that it can work with my tablet, computer or TV. The mouspad works great. Just have to get used to no num pad but that is a user issue. Would definitely recommend.
