i wanted a keyboard for my ipad and i didn't like the keyboard and cover all in one so i found this which could be used anywhere. i like the variety of angle you could set the ipad and the keyboard is small but easy to type on. the price was right as well i found it on sale for $30 dollars compared to $100 for others. It was a little awkward to carry at first but found a nice small case for ipad that this fit in so everything is great. used together with the case and smart case my ipad i fully protected.

I bought the Logitech Tablet keyboard to go with my iPad 2. What I love about this keyboard is that it is protected by a hard plastic case that you can also use to prop up the iPad while typing. Since both the keyboard and the iPad are slim, I can easily place both in my backpack.

I got this for my son's IPAD 3 which he uses primarily for a communication device because he is nonverbal. It gives him a normal key depression when pointing out each key. It allows me to type at a normal rate and do all the normal things a keyboard allows that the IPAD keyboard leaves out; ie., backspacing. It is light and portable. Great little keyboard.

I use my ipad for work, school, blogging and fun. So I use the keyboard all the time. There were things I didn't think I would like SUV as it runs on batteries and that it's an extra piece to carry around but I haven't had to change the batteries, and I now like the convenience of it.

It needs an internal, rechargable battery. Otherwise it is the best of the Bluetooth keyboards in the price range

I was skeptical about purchasing this wireless keyboard. I didn't think the price was worth the benefit, when a keypad can be used right on the iPad screen. However, after using for over a month, I am so glad I purchased this particular wireless keyboard.
Pros:
- Full size keyboard (many wireless keyboards for tablets are not)
- Free standing keyboard provides flexibility/comfortability - Allows keyboard to be used anywhere.
- Many helpful buttons on keyboard that enhance iPad use (music controls, unlock feature)
- Stand proves to be very helpful when using iPad for Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentations, or just general viewing (movies, photos, etc.)
- Stand works nicely as a case for when not in use.
- No need to remove iPad from a protective case to use stand.
- Easy set-up/take down.
- Works great for education setting (I use in class).
- Battery life seems great.
Cons:
- Keyboard does not lock into case for storage. Could potentially fall out.
- Easy to forget to turn keyboard power off (mostly operator error).

Good Blue Tooth Key Board for iPad

I went into the store today to look for a keyboard for my iPad. I was wanting a bluetooth board that was easy to type on. I am a pilot and use my ipad for just about everything I do when I am traveling as it is light and I has great aviation programs I use when I fly. But since I use it all the time I was getting tired of typing function on the actual pad. Not saying that it does not work well, but I bet we can all agree a keyboard is easier to type on. Anyways, I was going to go for Apples bluetooth board when I saw this one, there are about the exact same size, except this one has a strong sturdy that for both horizontal and vertical placement of the iPad. It also works with out me having to remove the cover I have for my iPad either (thin black one for iPad 1's)... As I am writing this review I find it very easy to type and a lot faster. The keyboard also has function buttons specifically made for the iPad, such as volume, play, pause.. the usual. And the stand also double as a protective cover for the keyboard when not in use... my only complaints are, that it is just a little heavy, but feels strong. and the fact it uses batteries instead of being rechargeable. But compared to everything else I have seen I am quite happy with it.

Just what I needed

My biggest concern about purchasing an iPad in the first place was whether or not I would be able to use it for writing. I am a teacher and an author, and I do a lot of writing at all different times and locations. I was very pleased with Apple's Pages, but the tablet keyboard took a bit of getting used to. I am a reasonably fast touch-typist. Ultimately, I found orienting the pad to landscape worked best, but was still not great. I already had cover for my iPad that I loved, so did not need a cover/keyboard combo. That's when the salesperson introduced me to this Logitech keyboard. Can we say, "perfect?" I love it! I can type as fast as I want, plus there is the pleasing click of actual keys. It actually makes me want to write even more! Great price, and works like a charm.

Hey, this keyboard is amazing. If you want a cheap bluetooth keyboard for your ipad, this is the one. I was at Best Buy and this happened to be the cheapest one I saw. I'm using it right now to write this review. This is just as good as all those expensive keyboards and it comes with a stand for your ipad. The function keys work great. The only problem is when you try to hit the up arrow key you have a good chance of hitting the shift key because they're practically connected. I hope this review helps.

I find the keyboards incorporated into the design of iPad cases to be too small, but this very lightweight and extremely portable keyboard is the perfect size, and the fact that you can position it anywhere within bluetooth range provides greater flexibility. The keyboard carrying case that doubles as a stand for the iPad is also extremely useful. I like this product so much, and the price is so reasonable that I bought a second one; I keep one at home and one at the office so it is always available. HIghly recommended.

I was extremely skeptical about this keyboard in the store, holding this and another Logitech keyboard in my hand debating. To be honest, the carrying case was the winning factor in the store though I was second guessing myself the whole time. Until I got it out of the box that is.
I use my iPad 2 for school and personal writing so a keyboard was a must. And this one is a winner. It has keys that are beneficial to iPads that you wouldn't have from cheaper, more common keyboards. The home key is especially useful when switching between apps quickly. The case helps protect it in a bag full of textbooks and supplies; it then becomes a stand to securely hold the iPad either in portrait or landscape views without having to take off your current case/cover.
Setup was extremely simply, a major bonus for being a relatively new iPad user and not a big user of Bluetooth products. The only downfall I can think of is that it runs off batteries and isn't rechargable. A simple fix was to purchase rechargable AAA batteries to save money. I would recommend this to other iPad users in a second.

This Bluetooth keyboard is absolutely amazing! It works with my iPad, iPhone, Mac, and PC flawlessly and connects in seconds. The sleek design makes it look nice with all my other electronics and I never feel embarrassed taking it out. Typing feels comfortable and it's easy to transport since the stand folds up to store the keyboard when not it use.

I love my new ipad and I love it even more now that I have the Logitech Tablet keyboard. Typing with my fingers took so long, but with the Logitech Tablet Keyboard, it is just like having a mini computer. It doesn't weigh anything so putting it in my travel bag when I go somewhere is great.. I like how the keyboard fits inside the stand too. It protects the keyboard when I'm not using it and makes an upright stand for the ipad while I am typing. I would certainly recommend this product.

Great keyboard if you type a lot

This is a sleek, well designed bluetooth keyboard. Very easy to set up and works great if you're using an iPad and need to type a lot (e-mails, documents, etc). The stand is also great as you can put your iPad landscape or portrait to watch TV, Skype, or to just watch anything. The stand also serves as a carrying case for the keyboard. Great value/price; you really can't go wrong.

Excellent quality and feel

First off, I LOVE this keyboard! It has a great feel and connects very easily to the Ipad via Bluetooth. I have used it to write visit reports for my sales position and it performs beautifully. This is a detached keyboard, but for me - perfect. I use the Targus 360 case, so I can easily set the Ipad either horizontally or vertically. I set the keyboard right in front and type away. The keyboard has non-skid rubber on the bottom which is great in a restaurant like McDonalds, etc. The unit weighs almost as much as the IPad and case, so it is not for carrying everywhere, but use it for extended typing work at your desk, in a restaurant or hotel....just what I wanted. The keyboard comes with a nice case that actually folds around into a stand. but frankly the stand itself is not that great. The case is nice for travel.

It's Almost Gooder, But Just Better...

Than the virtual keyboard on the Apple Ipad.
I bought the keyboard yesterday and I'm still trying to get used to it. The keys are a bit smaller than a normal keyboard, probably the same size keys as on a netbook. I am writing this review on the Logitech keyboard. The keyboard alone is light and nice looking.
Design and ergonomics are good. Yes it's a bit heavier than the Apple bluetooth keyboard, but the difference in weight is because it comes with a case that transforms to a stand. Add both the keyboard and case and it is heavier. I did notice that an optional case for the Apple keyboard is available for an extra $30 on top of the $72 price for the Apple wireless keyboard. Since I've not had a chance to compare the weights, I would think that the apple keyboard and optional case would weigh the same as the Logitech wireless keyboard.
One thing I wish that can be updated to the Ipad and optional keyboard is a mouse pad, like on the Asus Transformer tablet optional keyboard dock. I find it a bit annoying and frustrating going back and forth from the Ipad to the keyboard to do certain moves or commands. That's the "almost gooder" part of this review.
I also wish it had a couple legs on the bottom upper portion of the keyboard to raise it "just" a bit more than the stock height that it is set at.
I'm still getting used to the Ipad keys that allow you to command to do things. It's fairly easy but again, wish that the arrow keys were able to be used in conjunction with the Ipad. I could be happy with that than a mouse pad like on the Asus Transformer keyboard dock. As I'm typing this, I am listening to music through the Ipod on my Ipad 1. I like that the fn keys for ff/rew/play/stop work great. Also the volume and mute buttons work great. There's also a key on the top left with a "square" on the key, this allows you to go back to the desktop on the Ipad screen...nice touch! The keys I don't understand on the keyboard and I guess it's an Apple thing are the alt/option and cmd(command?) keys. If anyone knows how to use these keys or what they are meant for please leave a message because there is no manual included or found in regards to the keyboard on the Logitech site.
I can write a longer review and easier to fix and/or adjust mistakes on this keyboard.
I had no problem syncing the keyboard with my Ipad 1. I will have to try and see if it'll also work with my cell phone that has bluetooth. Whether I use it with my cell phone, I don't know; but I guess it could be useful sometimes.
I can easily type on Notes and other programs/apps that require long typing. Now I am wanting to get the Pages app that now I can type with ease.
I was about to get a thumb keyboard on ebay but this seems to just do the job.
Also this is the least expensive bluetooth keyboard with a case available for the Ipad 1 and Ipad 2. I really didn't want a case with a built-in keyboard, I tried one out and found the keys were way too small to be a useful tool.
