The clicks are soft and gentle, even for nearly 10 hours of clicking with graphic design and other tasks. I recently upgraded from an older Logitech with a loud and hard click that was hurting my hand after years of computer work. I highly recommend this and even bought one as a holiday gift for a work friend! The only thing is that it takes up my one USB port, so I can't use a desk lamp, or charge non USB-C devices, of which I have 2 ports.

I had to replace an old one because the buttons were going out. It is silent for sure, the only complaint is that it doesn't have a forward and back button. But I also cannot take away a star for that reason because I ordered it. If you need a good mouse for the price this one is it.
