Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the ease of use, comfortable size, and long battery life of the M510 Wireless Optical Ambidextrous Mouse. Many appreciate its wireless functionality, ergonomic design, and the responsiveness of its buttons. Positive feedback also mentions the price and lightweight design. While some users noted minor issues with the scroll wheel and tracking, these concerns were less frequent than positive comments.

Very sleek and comfortable mouse, have had it for years and never had to change the battery. It’s a heavier mouse which I actually like so If you like light mouse’s you might not like it but overall I’d say it’s pretty solid.

I have been carrying this thing around with me in my backpack for over a year now. I'm almost always careful to turn it off before stowing it next to my laptop power supply. I have yet to change the batteries yet. I use it occasionally throughout the week as a university student. It's comfortable, has great battery life, has back and forward buttons. It has a spot inside the battery compartment to store the USB dongle, but I just leave mine connected to my laptop. The only thing I don't like about this mouse is the orange marking on the dongle makes it stick out and is not very professional. I wish this marking was not there or it was a subdued gray or something. It's amazing for the price. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or purchase it again.

I purchased this Logitech Mouse because it had a very long battery life and offers a four directional control wheel for scrolling in all directions. I like the shut off switch on the bottom with green/red indicator for on/off. I also appreciate the space that exists under the bottom cover which houses the usb connectivity dongle. The mouse is wireless and comfortable to use for long periods of time.

I purchased the M510 to replace an M705 that the left button stopped working after 1 year of use. (I can hear it click but the left click would not do anything and Logitech is sending me a replacement. After 2 emails with the Logitech tech support performing some troubleshooting steps, Logitech will stand behind its warranty). I owned the M510 before and I was happy until after 4 years of use the left click button literally broke off and while it would still work, it left a sharp edge that made it uncomfortable for prolonged use, so now I use it with a laptop which I do not use very much. I prefer the M510 over the M705 as it is a bit heavier and feels sturdier. It feels very comfortable in my hand and I use it with my desktop for work and for some light gaming. The mouse is very responsive and you can use the Logitech Options software to manage the settings. You can also create custom settings for specific applications. I knocked off a star for quality, because of the broken left click button. The attached pictures will give you an idea of the size of the mouse and you will see the broken button. You will notice a slight difference in the look of the 2 mice as the logo on the older one is not there because it was a bit different and it has been worn out. Despite the broken button, I recommend this mouse

My Dog Loves This Mouse Too

This is a decent mouse, although it pales in comparison to the Triathalon and Marathon versions. While I technically returned this mouse, it was not because I didn't like it --- it is because my dog Banjo ate it --- along with about 15 other mice over the course of the past two years. You know how it is - you're working late at night, and suddenly you get 'a hankerin'. Pretty soon there is a big bag of corn chips next to your desk, followed by various other snacks that your cardiologist has warned you about, and probably some liquor, too. Needless to say, the flavor makes its way from your hand to your mouse, and from your mouse to the dog. Of course I try to put the mouse away before I go to bed, but you only have to forget one time and then... well, you wake up in the morning walking through a debris field of gnarled plastic and little circuit boards. Remember, always get the extended protection plan.

I love how comfy the grip is! I have the smaller cheaper one as well but it’s almost too small. This size is perfect to relax your hand on! I’ve had it well over a year for work and it had been wonderful! It never lags unlike the old one i had!

I wanted a mouse to work faster and something really precise especially because I often work on Photoshop. I'm not disappointed. This mouse is the best mouse I've ever had in my entire life. Really fast and the 2 buttons on the left help you while surfing on the internet. I can work hours without feeling any pain in the hand or the arm like I had with my previous mouse. I bought the red one to work for my company and the grey for my own project. I recommend this product!

I wanted a wireless mouse with effective range from the USB "dongle", and I dislike the tiny "meece" available. The Logitech M510 has a good feel and the 2-year battery life is a big plus.

Wireless mouse works well, even with KVM switch

Was tired of mouse cord being tight because of routing over pull-out tray and through back of desk. Wanted to try a wirelss mouse but was concerned with my use of a KVM switch. Was involved in beta testing of AmigaOS 4.2 - yes AmigaOS is still in use and development - and so hooked my dual boot Linux/Windows 8.1 computer to my AmigaOne X 1000 via a KVM switch. To my delight worked right from that start. It is smooth in use - love my 3M microfiber mouse pad - and is sensitive to small movements. Only problem is that occasionally it seems to not quite align the signal and momentarily does not move the cursor. Happens very infrequently and quickly recovers. Also could be a little larger to better fit my grip. Highly recommended as good value for the money. Don't know yet about battery life.

Logitech - M510 Wireless Laser Mouse - Review: It is adjustable via the 'ELAN' Pointing Device software on my laptop. The battery has been in use for MONTHS ... even though I often forget to turn the mouse off - my bad. I have a long cpu bench and the mouse is often 2-3 feet away from the receiver without any 'signal' problem. VERY Satisfied with this product.

This is actually my favorite mouse to use for my everyday use. I first got this mouse in 2018, and It was okay for the first year and a half, and then it played out on me. So I ended up getting something least expensive in which I wasn't stratified with it. Moving forward to March of 2021 I decided to purchase again. It was okay for the first two months, and then the left clicker started to play out. I'll be trying to work or navigate the screens, and the left clicker would double click things. My previous m510 did the same thing so hopefully Logitech will work out the kinks with that left clicker. It's under the manufacturer's 1 year limited warranty so I was able to contact them via email, and request for a replacement which was approved. I appreciate Logitech for giving me a replacement on this. Hopefully the replacement will last longer.

I now own three of these. This is the perfect mouse for me both functionally and ergonomically. I use computers (laptops and desktops) at work and at home. I travel with my laptop and use it at multiple locations at work with and without docking stations. I hate having to make my mouse mobile as well. I keep a mouse at each location and with this model I can associate multiple mice using only one mini unifying USB receiver. Also, I used to get what I call severe mouse hand pain. With this mouse and a good wrist support mouse pad there is no more pain.

It works, but that's it's only redeeming quality. Not worth the premium in price over a $7.99 cordless mouse. Using it is a real chore. I'm surprised at how clunky and unenjoyable this is to use considering this is a Logitech product. It's heavy, difficult to move (sticky) get's stuck then shoots forward. I've cleaned both bottom of house and tabletop, and it makes little difference. I much prefer trackball mice because they stay in one place and don't need to be moved too much. On the package, there is a great whoop de doo about what it can do. Setting it is impossible. I gave up. The instructions are horrible and only serve to muddy an already incomprehensible design. Why did I buy it? I didn't. I was in the hospital, and my wonderful wife who knows nothing about things like this, volunteered to pick up a mouse up for me as my trackpad was hard to use. Ironically, the trackpad worked better than this mouse. If I weren't over the two week return period because I'm in the hospital, I would return it. Not worth the money.
