My wrist huts using normal mice and I have been using these thumb trackballs for around 15 years. Logitech makes the most comfortable trackballs. That said. The only reason I went with this option over the cheaper one with the dongle is that this one has bluetooth. Current generation laptops don't have full sized USB ports so the M575 is no longer viable in 2025. Frankly I do not like the new design compared to the M575. This one is much heavier and has a heavy metal plate with a magnetic tilting thing that I suppose makes it possible to be more ergonomic for some people but unfortunately makes it much heavier. The buttons also seem to wear out in about 1.5 years guaranteeing you will need to buy a new one. The old ones with the USB cables still work fine so at some point they must have started getting lower quality switches. The M575 was much lighter and easier to carry around in laptop bad. This model is very heavy and the magnetic solid steel plate on the bottom makes it rather painful if you drop the mouse on your bare foot. The price is also verry high compared to the M575. You can commonly fine the M575 for $40 while this model is going to cost you a minimum of $80 depending on if you catch a sale. The button next to the mouse wheel is also a bit annoying activating a slowmo mode.

Really good mouse, responsive, maybe a little too easybto gonibto precision mode if you have a wild thumb, but overall worth the updrage from the lower model imo. My hand like the higher angle, my brain likes the multiple angle options

I would give this 5 stars, however, after using this mouse for a while now, I've noticed that left click button doesn't work always. This is especially true when trying to highlight a word by double clicking. Instead I need to scroll over the whole word using the track ball. It's a nuisance. Still, I do enjoy many aspects of this mouse: the way it feels in my hand, the long-lasting battery, and the fact that it is rechargeable. These are all great features. It's also very comfortable. If you have pain in your wrist from using more conventional mice, I would recommend this mouse. That being said, if proper ergonomics is your main goal, I'm sure there are cheaper ones available that will have a similar effect.

Fantastic for someone who has any wrist pain from using a normal mouse. The different levels of angles lets you adjust to your most comfortable fit. Extra keys can be configured for custom actions

Nice features and is easy to use. It's accurate as well. A little expensive but worth it imo.

I love this large mouse that fits my large hand. The programable buttons are convenient and easy to set up.

Pros: classy , soundless clicks , detachable anugular base , usb chargelable..........Cons: little pricier , may sound bulky for few uses.

I was apprehensive when I made this purchase due to its unique design and whether I was gonna get used to it. Fortunately, I did. Using this mouse requires your thumb a lot which i wasn't used to but i wont go back now. The hand position is super comfortable with 0 fatigue for long hours. Plus logi options app provides tons of customization options that you can use to define what each of the mouse buttons do for each of your favorite apps. The clicks are super tactile and have a nice feel to it. This has an in-built battery that can be recharged with a USB type C cable, super convenient. When I bought it, the mouse was at 40% and lasted me a full month before I charged it so battery life is amazing.

Great Trackball, I've had and used many trackballs this one is been the best. I had an older version of this but this one is wonderful. First it is comfortable easy to use. Another thing i noticed that it was quite...yes quite the buttons don't make a noticeable click sound. It is accurate and precise, for doing detailed work.

I often use my MacBook as a true laptop and I’m not a fan of trackpads. I bought this to sit on the arm of my chair and it is great for that. I also started using it with my work machine as well. It is very east to switch betwen devices and it works great with the dongle and with Bluetooth.

I got the previous version too. the improvement with this model is the silent click. with this one you don't listen the annoying clicks. I like a lot this mouse. I strongly recommend. The removable base that comes with the mouse felt a little strange at first, but after 2 days of use it felt natural.

really helps put my hand and wrist in a perfect position with less stress to my arm . its easy to use and fits my smaller hand nicely but would accommodate any size hand . the track ball is effortless and has great optional buttons. The battery life is great. This is a must have.

I love using this mouse. It is the highest quality I can find of this type. I’ve bought it a couple times over the years because the rubber part eventually wears down and gets gross after a few years. This model has an additional magnetic base that raises it up, but I don’t use it because the magnet isn’t strong enough to keep it from slipping out of position. So I just use the thin magnetic base, which does have a strong magnet.

This mouse works well, connected easily, very pleased.

I absolutely love this mouse. This is my second purchase in over a few years so I have the new generation which has USB-C. Your hands and rest will thank you if you do a lot of work at the computer. I absolutely love this mouse.

This took some getting used to but, once you get over the urge to use it like a traditional mouse, it’s light years ahead of anything I’ve ever used before. My work flow has improved significantly, making it much more user friendly to edit my footage. A must have for anyone spending long periods of time on their computer.

Takes some getting used to but works really well for specific tasks. I wouldn't get this if you are expecting to use it to play games since its hard to get accuracy using your thumb.

I love tgis mouse! My only gripe i have with it is that the usb dongle doesent have a spot to store it in the mouse for travel like most wireless mouses.

So comfortable. I like the feel of the trackball though it is taking some getting used to. Has all kinds of nice options for button configurations.
