Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the premium feel, amazing battery life, and responsive keys of the MX Mechanical Mini keyboard. Many appreciate its compact size, making it ideal for travel, and find it easy to use and connect to multiple devices. While some find the price a bit high, the positive feedback on the typing experience and features outweighs this concern for most users. The keyboard's weight is noted by some, but generally considered acceptable given its build quality.

A Great Upgrade Over The Magic Keyboard

I've been using the Apple Magic Keyboard for about 3 years so I want to focus my review on how the MX Mechanical Mini compares to it. Overall, I prefer the MX Mechanical Mini as it's a better experience but there are a few things that I miss from the Apple Magic Keyboard. ***LAYOUT*** It took a couple of days to get used to the layout so don't feel discouraged at first. I was concerned it might affect my productivity but eventually, I got more comfortable with it and now it's a non-issue. If you look at my screenshot, you can see the differences between the two keyboards. Most notably, the keys on the Logitech are slightly narrower and the keys in the bottom right arranged differently. There were a few instances where I was hitting the wrong keys while typing but again, my mind got used to the layout after a few days. Some of the exclusive keys on the Logitech have been useful (screenshot, mic mute, home/end/pg up/pg dn) although the emoji key has been useless to me (I've remapped it to Mission Control). I do miss the forward/rewind and the brightness keys on the Magic Mouse but it's not a dealbreaker for me. Logitech's keyboard is backlit while Apple doesn't have one. I normally work in a well lit environment so this isn't a significant improvement for me but it could be very useful for your needs. I've also never been a big fan of the way the arrow keys are placed on the Apple Keyboard so the Logitech gets the win here. ***SIZE*** The Apple Magic Keyboard is not only a bit smaller but weighs less as well so it wins out here. I don't think it's that big of an issue unless you travel with your mouse/keyboard and your laptop bag is already filled to capacity. ***CONNECTIVITY*** MX Mechanical Mini easily wins here. I have a work laptop and a personal laptop so switching back and forth between the two with just the press of a button is so much better than having to turn constantly disconnect/reconnect the Apple Keyboard. ***TYPING EXPERIENCE*** Mechanical keyboards are generally superior for typing and the MX Mechanical Mini is no exception. I can't believe what I've been missing all these years! The MX Mechanical Mini has a pair of tilt legs (unlike Apple's) which puts it at a higher angle and feels better ergonomically. The feel of pressing the keys with the combination of the sound it makes also gives it a more premium feel and experience. Have I noticed an improvement in my typing speed? Not really but the better experience is noticeable though. The only thing that I prefer the Apple Magic Keyboard here is how it's quieter. Despite the MX Mechanical Mini being "Tactile Quiet", it still makes a bit of noise. This isn't a problem for me about 90% of the time but there are instances where I need to be more gentle with my typing in order to reduce the amount of noise it makes. ***PRICE*** MX Mechanical Mini is $50 more than the Apple Magic Keyboard and more expensive than other Mechanical Keyboards so this isn't an easy decision for most. I would say the MX Mechanical Mini is worth it if you: - Use multiple devices and want to switch easier - You spend hours doing heavy typing and a comfortable experience is a priority - Can take advantage of the extra key shortcuts and don't mind the lack of certain Mac specific keys like brightness and Mission Control.

    Great keyboard for the office

Such a good keyboard. I actually found some low profile keycaps and replaced them from the normal gray scale caps and it brings a new life to it (see bottom most keyboard in the picture). I felt the regular caps were just dull and dark which could be your vibe. Other than that the software works with their options software which works nicely with my Mx master mouse so it just works. I also like how it’s not rgb so it’s not a distraction as I use it for work and sometimes take it in to the office. I got the brown switches which work for me. Price is a little on the pricy side I will say and there may be better options out there but I have no regrets with this purchase.

I've been thoroughly impressed with my Logitech Pro X 60 mini so far. Initially, I was concerned about the price and the reports of loose sound keys from YouTube reviewers. To be honest, I shared those concerns. I was worried about the cost, wondering if it was worth the investment considering my budget constraints. As a video editor, I couldn't afford a Davinci Resolve controller or even a dedicated editing keyboard. I decided to opt for a gaming keyboard, hoping to find a good balance between customization and value. Since I wanted the flexibility to work anywhere, I prioritized wireless connectivity for its portability and versatility. Most importantly, I wanted to customize my keyboard with macros and hotkeys to streamline my editing and research workflow, ultimately saving me time. I appreciate the flexibility to create a profile for any app I want. Once set up, the Pro X 60 Mini seamlessly switches to the corresponding profile based on the open application. I really like this feature, as I also use color-coding to organize my profiles. To fully utilize the Pro X 60, you need to stay connected to Ghub, but it does offer three customizable profile slots stored directly on the keyboard, which can be accessed even when you're not connected to Ghub. I really like GHUB. ICUE is good too. Alongside the GHUB, I also value the G-Button's versatility. It enables me to tailor my setup with micros, actions, hotkeys, or any other desired feature, without sacrificing my function key shortcuts. I can reconfigure the entire layer as needed, without encountering any problems. Although I cannot create an entire layer of additional micros using the G-Button, I can assign any key to it. Moreover, I can create custom profiles for any application on my computer, and the Pro X 60 will automatically recognize and apply the relevant profile when an app is in focus. The typing experience is more about the tactile sensation than the noise level. It's not overwhelmingly loud, but it's not silent either. I enjoy the sensation of pressing the keys and the subtle give of the keys as I type, which is a pleasant surprise. The slight looseness of the keys doesn't hinder my typing at all. I'm thoroughly impressed with this device's design and construction. The volume control on the left side of the base is a thoughtful touch. What really stands out is how effortlessly it switches between my MacBook Pro and iPad - it's incredibly efficient. I've connected it to my iPad via Bluetooth and my MacBook Pro M1 via USB-C, and the process has been seamless. The connections and switching process are smooth and hassle-free. Before buying from Best Buy, I had the opportunity to test the Corsair 65 Plus Wireless, which boosted my confidence in making the right decision. I also tried out the Logitech G515 TKL wireless, the Logitech Mx Mechanical Mini Wireless, the Corsair K65 Pro mini Wired, and the Logitech Pro X TKL Wireless. Among them, my top choice is the K65 Pro mini Wired, which shares the same design as the Pro x 60. Since I couldn't find a wireless version of the K65 Pro mini, I decided to spend a bit more money, going against some YouTube reviewers' advice. Now, I'm a satisfied customer. I'm currently considering the Corsair K70 Core TKL Wireless, but I'm having trouble parting with my Pro X 60. Here is the rewritten text in first person: I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with my Logitech Pro X 60 mini wireless gaming keyboard, despite initial reservations about the price and reports of loose sounding keys. As a video editor, I was seeking a balance between customization and value, and prioritized wireless connectivity for its portability and versatility. I appreciate the keyboard's ability to create profiles for any app, which seamlessly switches to the corresponding profile based on the open application. I also value the G-Button's versatility, which allows me to tailor my setup with macros, actions, hotkeys, or other features without sacrificing function key shortcuts. The typing experience is pleasant, with a tactile sensation and subtle give of the keys. I'm impressed with the device's design and construction, including the volume control on the left side of the base. I've connected the keyboard to both my MacBook Pro and iPad without issue, and I'm satisfied with my purchase. I had previously tested other keyboards, including the Corsair 65 Plus Wireless, Logitech G515 TKL wireless, Logitech Mx Mechanical Mini Wireless, the Corsair K65 Pro mini Wired, and the Logitech Pro X TKL Wireless, but ultimately chose the Pro X 60 mini.

I've been using the Logitech MX Mechanical Mini for a few weeks now, and I'm absolutely loving it. It's the perfect keyboard for my needs, as a software developer who spends a lot of time typing. The first thing I noticed about the MX Mechanical Mini is the build quality. It's made of solid aluminum, and it feels very sturdy and well-made. The keys are also very responsive, with a satisfying tactile feel. I love the fact that you can choose between three different switch types, so you can find the one that's perfect for your typing style. The MX Mechanical Mini is also wireless, which is a big plus for me. I can easily move it around my desk, or even take it with me when I travel. The battery life is also excellent, and I've only had to charge it once since I got it. Another thing I love about the MX Mechanical Mini is the backlighting. The keys light up automatically when you approach them, and they adjust to the ambient light in the room. This is a great feature for late-night coding sessions, or when you're working in a dimly lit environment. Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with the Logitech MX Mechanical Mini. It's the perfect keyboard for anyone who spends a lot of time typing. It's well-made, responsive, and wireless. I highly recommend it.

Overall I've had a good typing experience. The key press sound is satisfying, smooth, and thocky. The battery life has been strong. The quality feels sturdy. Also, USB-C FTW. However, as much as I want to keep it, I will be returning it. I come from the Logitech G915 TKL and the Apple Magic keyboard. In comparison, the MX Mini has the deepest key press among them; it takes more effort to press a key down. This is fine for casual use but not for work. My hands quickly got tired after hours of typing. The biggest deal breaker is ghosting. I've witnessed on several occasions when key presses do not immediately register.

went form Mac tactile keyboards to this and enjoy it. Here are some perks of this keyboard compared to my Mac keyboards. -My Fn keys are assigned to trigger different apps so I like the separate volume keys on this one meaning I don't have to hold Fn just to change volume. -The keyboard lights up when your hands get near it so this saves battery life. There is a slight delay with them lighting up. Maybe half a second which is my only gripe. -The row of HOME, END, PAGE UP and Page Down is on the right end and barely takes any additional space while being easy to access for jumping though documents or websites. A full size keyboard would take up more mouse room and be located above instead of muscle memory on the side. -I can quickly assign keyboard to my iPad, MacBook, windows PC with one button. -The Logitech Options software is quite nice. You can customize some of the keys. I bought one of these but then bought another because I noticed the right side of the spacebar had a slightly different sound press. The second keyboard feels better. Test out all the key presses when you get yours to make sure they all click the same.

Bought this keyboard back on June 12, 2022. Been using it everyday on my Samsung tab tablet. Love it. Response time instant, comfortable to type and the people complaining about key press legnth bs, barely have to press the keys since they register so fast which speeds up typing. I even went out and bought the full size version a couple weeks later.

I am totally in love with this mechanical keyboard, I got the tactile quiet version of this Logitech MX Mechanical Mini 70% layout keyboard, it has a smart light feature that really impressed me, the lights turn off automatically on its default settings whenever is idle and the lights turn on again when you place your hands over the keyboard even before touching it! My previous keyboards having a feature to save power similar to this required to actually press a key in order to turn on the keyboard backlight, I dislike that behaviour but now with this smart lighting feature is just clever and great! I also love the sound and feel on pressing these keys (cherry brown swithches). The quality is solid and amazing, and I also love the design, I am literally loving and enjoying all about this keybaord!

I've always had interest in a compact mechanical keyboard but never could find a decent one that wasn't over the top with RGB lighting. While there's a few that checks a few boxes, I've chosen to hold off and continue to use the K380 keyboard that has been my daily for quite some time now. The K380 is essentially the perfect compact keyboard for my usage. Compact, long battery life, ability to connect up to three devices and easily switches to them. Logitech did come out with their POP lineup which almost checks all the boxes, but I wasn't a fan of the "themes" they had offered. I suppose it's to appeal to a certain crowd, which is fine, but I just wish there was a simple black offering. The wait continues at that point... till now... Behold... The MX Mechanical line up. Compact and full-size offering. I personally prefer the compact model due to the fact that I do not need the number pad. Like the K380, it can connect up to three devices with the ease of switching as well. While there's backlighting available on the keyboard, it only offers white lighting with different offering of settings. One of the best perks of the keyboard is that it is rechargeable! Mechanical feel, compact in size, excellent solid built quality and multi-device enabled. Excellent keyboard offering for the non RGB keyboard user. Thanks.

I am unsure how to write this review so I’m just going to put a smattering of my thoughts and findings below along with a quick conclusion. I like this keyboard a lot. It works well and feels good to use. However, I was expecting it to be a bit better for the price. But I’m not sure why. I use it for everything, enjoy my time on it, and it works on literally everything. It being a 65% keyboard with three swappable profiles is also excellent. Making it easy to be your main keyboard for multiple devices and on the go. The Bluetooth connection is also stable, and I notice no latency. • Solid build quality. The back is made of plastic, then in has an aluminum top plate, and the keys themselves appear to be ABS. On/off switch is satisfying and easy to toggle. USB-C to charge. Has a little LED next to the power button which will turn on when you activate the device and then turn off. Also, will blink and then turn off once charged. • Typing experience is good but not ideal. I find the keys have a lot more travel than I expect out of a flat keyboard. Additionally, the entire thing sits a bit higher than I would expect further exacerbating the issue. Overall, I’d say it is a combination between a normal sized keyboard and a laptop keyboard. Where I was more expecting it to be closer to a laptop. The keycaps themselves feel great. As they are slighting concaved pushing your finger to the middle of the switch. I got the tactile one and the bump is EXTREMELY soft almost to the point that they feel linear instead which I don’t like. Actuation force is on the heavy side which I also don’t like. I’d guess around 60 grams and have noticed my forearms getting a bit tired after prolonged typing sessions which is new. Guess I need to hit my forearms during my workouts a bit harder. Due to this heavier actuation and longer travel distance I’m averaging about 114 wpm with it over around 120 – 125. • I LOVE that this is a 65% keyboard. Allowing you to have a full function row, arrow keys, along with del, home, end, pg up, and pg down. With additional shortcuts accessed through the FN key. To me this is the perfect balance between a compact keyboard and full size keyboard. • You can have this device paired to three devices at a time. Pairing is very simple you just press FN (unless if FN is locked) and the F1, F2, or F3 key to go into pairing mode and then it connects to whatever device. I tried this on an iPad, windows machine, MacBook, and an iPhone and it worked perfectly on all of them. Switching is also very fast. However, you only have 3 profiles as the included Logitech Bolt wireless receiver isn’t a separate band like I thought (which would make it the USB Receiver + 3 Profiles) instead the Logitech Bolt takes one of the three profiles. Which I was bummed about. • They do have buttons for both Windows and Mac which I really like. But there is no dedicated globe key for iPads. • To customize anything, you need two different software’s the first is Logi Options+ which shouldn’t be confused with Logitech Options. And then you need Logitech Bolt. In the Logi Options+ software you have limited customizability where you can customize F4 – F12, volume up down, del, home, end, pg up, pg down to be whatever you’d like. • I found the proximity sensor to be hit and miss, registering my hand just as many times as it missed it. The lights also seem to turn off a bit too quick for my liking. I don’t have to look at the keys which is good but imagine if you need the light to see this can be frustrating and is exacerbated by the grey keycaps. If you bump the keyboard or press a key they will turn on but then quickly shut off. I wish I had a bit more control over the automatic back lighting. As I don’t believe you can make it stay on all the time or extend how fast or slow it will turn off. The white light is nice though. You also have 6 lighting modes which reminds me a lot of my gaming keyboards. All of the animations are very smooth. • I wasn’t able to test battery life effectively to say if it was good or bad. But from my testing I’ve used it a lot and have lost less than 5% out of like 3ish days of use. Which makes me think it should be excellent. • If you have caps lock on it will blink to remind you. • They report it is made from post-consumer recycled material, comes with paper packaging that can be recycled, and is certified carbon neutral which I think we can all get behind. • If you have the Logi Options+ Software enabled when you press something on the keyboard it will notify you of any secondary keys you are pressing which I like. • You can easily use this in a work environment as the keys aren’t very loud. • There is no storage for the Logi Bolt receiver for travel which is a bit of a bummer and I think is a miss from Logitech.
