Customers are saying

Customers regard the Orion Spectrum G910 keyboard highly, praising its build quality, RGB backlighting, and satisfying key feel. Many appreciate the ease of use and extensive customization options, along with the positive comments on the software and lighting effects. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the wrist rest, finding it uncomfortable or poorly designed. The lack of a USB passthrough is another frequently cited drawback.

This is such a cool keyboard. It changes colors and my son said it’s the best he has used for gaming.

Okay this is not a cheap keyboard. For starters is it worth it. Yes no question. The led backlight is impressive. Not too bright not too dim. And you can alter it up or down as you choose this does requre a software download for Logitech remeber that part. Its clearly marked for gaming and its vivid. The G keys alone make gaming much easier. There are many light flow patterns to choose from. As well as a mega number of color combos this will give an endless number of hours of enjoyment just watching the leds the software is a must for individual games as well. And the optional phone app is nice I recommend it. As you will be able to not only utilze music but also PC Stats important for any gamer or pro power user. Eaier to look at a phone screen than to constantly check heat stats via the pc. Let the phone do it for ya. Though the app lacks a little bit. But if I know Logitech they will update that with new features eventually. Game on

    Pretty good, but...

Good: The Romer-G mechanical key switches have a good feel, not terribly dissimilar to Cherry Red switches; the RGB lighting control software and keyboard configuration (including macros) is decent, if not always intuitive. The extra macro keys are a big plus. Less good: the key switches have a unique design, so no third-party keycaps are readily available. The wrist-rest is integrated; you can remove the surface of it, but can't remove it entirely, so no third-party solutions will work. The ARX integration sounds great, but doesn't integrate with much except a (decent) performance monitor for your phone, a handful of games I don't play, and Discord. Not good: While you can highlight your WASD keys in a different color for visual purposes, there's no texture or angle difference on those keys (and no third-party keycap support), so it's pretty easy to lose your hand position while gaming and have to look down to find it, rather than doing it instinctively as I'm accustomed to on other gaming keyboards.

Great keyboard - this version has "normal keys"

I started looking for a new keyboard, coming from a membrane gaming keyboard, and wanted to a more mechanical one, but without spending over $129. This was my first logical choice, but I kept finding reviews about it that said the keys were shaped differently and took some getting used to. I type a lot for work, so that was steering me towards some others but this is the one I really wanted. Then I realized that this specific version (Orion Spectrum) was an update to the original Orion that had the weird keys, and this one had more traditional keys. So I bought it. This is a great keyboard, the keys are fine, the RGB looks great, and the software is easy to use and lets you customize everything. If you're looking for an entry level mechanical keyboard that is still amazing, this is a fantastic value.

This is my first gaming keyboard. A majority of my keyboards are from Logitech and are of the wireless variety. This goes the same with all the mice I've had. I've since decided to transition to a wired keyboard and mouse considering my home workstation doesn't move and there really isn't a need for a wireless mouse or keyboard which requires battery changes every few months. Additionally, I built a new PC and wanted to swap out peripherals to aid with the "New Car Smell". This keyboard looks great, is responsive and I enjoy the way the keys sound and feel when using. This is a great feeling keyboard to type on and very responsive with gaming as well. Too add to this, the keyboard also has infinitely adjustable LEDs. This allows for high visibility in low light conditions AND customization. Definitely adds to the "cool" factor. All in all, I don't regret my purchase. If i had to do it over, I would purchase this again. Don't hesitate on this one. I also recommend purchasing the corded Logitech gaming mouse as well (G502).

    Amazing gaming keyboard

As a gamer, I've found "gaming" keyboards to be mostly all the same. They're definitely an improvement over your typical keyboard for gaming but after that there wasn't much differentiating the bunch. The G910 though is the bomb! The action on the keys is fantastic. They're mechanical and make a nice click clack sound when typing. As for typing, I wouldn't want to write thesis on this keyboard as the keys can wear your fingers out over long use since the amount of force needed to click a key is a bit more than say a mac keyboard as is the amount of space the keys need to move. But for gaming, this is great. There are no errant keystrokes. Once pressed, the keys are easy to keep depressed. The color coding ability is amazing. I dim down the keyboard to just barely viable then turn all my main keys into red, or other colors depending on use. It makes finding that one key you need right now before you die but never use a cinch. Love they keyboard. No regrets.

I have wanted an illuminated keyboard for a long time, but haven't been willing to pay higher prices. I finally decided to purchase this after a lot of research and I am fully satisfied with the product and the great software that accompanies it. You basically have full control to customize the keyboard color to whatever you want. If you wanted every button to be a specific color, you can literally program each button's color. In my case, I wanted a majority of the keyboard to remain dark while several groups of buttons maintain different color sets for gaming purposes. I have very important buttons marked RED for instance so I never lose sight of them. In addition the keyboard's software allows you create profiles based on what game or program you're running so it will automatically switch profiles when you switch programs (or you can choose to manually switch). I am amazed by the amount of customization allowed by this keyboard. I should note that it has full gaming keyboard features such as programmable buttons which you can even create macros on. The one minor thing I had to adjust to was the "feel" of pressing the buttons as I type. It's slightly different than previous gaming keyboards I've owned (I'm not sure how to describe it--it's a bit more sensitive I suppose). This resulting in me having to get used to the new feel which took several months actually. During this period I made lots of typos, but the "training" was worth it. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone. I really love it and rarely give five stars to anything.

This was a gift for my son who was using a lower grade 'mechanical' keyboard he found on Amazon for short money. That one was monochrome backlit LEDs, and while a good keyboard for less than $30, this new unit lit his eyes up like you wouldn't believe. The RGB functionality and programming variety alone on the 910 was like Christmas, but add in the 'G' macro keys on the side and top form customization, the smoothness of the Romer-G mechanical keys and the solid feel of the board overall make it a home run. Loved the slot at the top where he can place his phone and load up the Logitech app (he also has the Proteus 520 mouse, loves the pairing. We were able to get it on sale for $129, which still feels like a bit of a bargain. I own a Corsair K70 Rapidfire, and love it to death, but I can't say I'm not a bit jealous of this one. Logitech did right on this keyboard, excited that he feels like a pro gamer now.

Pros: + The tactile keys make it a pleasure to type with. + The keys are incredibly responsive + Plenty of customization + RGB backlights don't bleed out like other keyboards, which I like. + Comfortable to use +The app is much more useful than I thought it would be, and the dock for my phone is a nice little feature I moderately enjoyed. + Solid build quality Cons (Most of these are just nitpicking) - The G1-G5 keys on the left were good once I was used to it, but it took some getting used to. I would often hit the lower one instead of lctrl. - I would have liked a dedicated calculator button, instead of setting it up with all my profiles (nitpicking) - The large "G" at the top left and the G910 logo are not as customizable as the rest of the board. - The phone dock doesn't have an opening for a charging cable to get in.

Great keyboard, does everything it claims it can do. I went though a couple of KB's before this one. Those others were no comparison to the 910. One, only worked for 2 months, then quit. And by quit, I mean nothing worked. Not even typing. The 910 has preformed well since I have had it. It has programable buttons that work well. Typing on it feels like you are typing on a quality KB. It has nice tactile feedback when pressing the keys. It has a nice lighting setup. Three different setups that can be saved to the M1, M2, or M3 keys on the upper left side of the KB. I have had zero problems with the 910. It's a great replacement for my older KB.

I really like this keyboard, I could use it for all kinds of gaming, I don't... but I could. I really like the lights and that you can adjust them along with the roller volume control. The thing I like best about the keyboard is the little tray thing, there is a fancy name I don't remember, I can put my phone in and FaceTime with my son while we play games with each other. All in all, I'm very happy with it.

This is a really nice keyboard. I was looking for something that wasn't really loud when I typed. This one seems to be a good mix of relatively quite keys but still getting the gaming performance of mechanical switches. It is definitely not as quiet as a membrane keyboard, but I'm happy with it. All of the color changes are done via the software, so your keyboard will do the rainbow theme until you computer has completely booted up. It would have been nice to have the information stored on the keyboard itself, but this is such a minor issue, it doesn't take away much from the experience. The keys are back to a normal feeling, concave design which was why I waited for this model to come out. The wrist rest is also a bit more of a polished design than the older version. Most things designed for gamers go for garish these days, which makes it difficult for those of us looking for gaming capable, but refined looks. One thing that stood out as poorly thought out, is the ARX Dock,. It looks like you could dock your phone there and use it and keep it charged...NOPE, it's just a place to hold your phone while it uses up the battery. Your phone does not actually connect in any meaningful way to the keyboard via the dock, it's simply a holder.

    Great mechanical keyboard on sale

Got this on sale for $119 (down from $179). I was worried about how the Romer-G switches would compare to the coveted cherry mx switched. This keyboard is really fast. It is not totally quiet, but it is not loud like cherry mx blues. Totally customizable lights with no bleed around the edge of the keys. The clincher for me was the sale. I have never been let down by a Logitech product and this is no exception. The resistance to pressing the keys is very light, though, just resting my fingers on the keys can set them off. The fast action on the keys helped me clear through a trying level on a typing game (Epistory). The only thing I would like to see is this keyboard in an ergonomic version as I have spent most of my years with a Microsoft ergonomic keyboard, and going back to a standard setup is a bit of a learning curve. The fast keys and custom light setup make up for that shortcoming though. I don’t regret this purchase one bit

I purchased this keyboard on sale and because I don't care for the thin, compact, and lightweight keyboards that come with most PC's these days. I don't do a lot of gaming but love this keyboard for the customizable LED lighting, it's full size, and excellent feel to the keys, and I programmed most of the program keys to different email accounts, great shortcut when needing to fill them out.

Come from the G15, had it for over 10 years. This keyboard feels almost the same. PROS: Keys are very responsive/more sensitive then the old G15. Bright customizable back lighting. Haven't Used the the ARK dock yet. G keys are great for games and macros. Keys are not that loud, much quieter then the clicky. Keyboard height is about right, I have big hands tho. If it was thinner It would be preferred. CONS: I miss the built in USBs the G15 had. It was nice to be able to plug in mouse or flash drive into the keyboard. Would be nice if the keys were just a bit quieter.

Not many negatives to list here... I think my only complaint is the plastic panel at the bottom likes to come off if you move your keyboard around a lot. The keys are great, it's durable, and it's reliable. The software to control everything is pretty simple to use, I love customizing different color setups for various games. I know there's much higher end keyboards with more options, but I can't argue with it for the price and it's perfect for me. This is not a clacky keyboard, like something with MX Blue switches. I believe this keyboard is comparable to MX Red switches. Very nice if you don't want everyone hearing every dang keystroke you make.
