    Fantastic case for the price

This case is of high quality and provides decent protection to the Note Pro 12.2 tablet. The case is lightweight but strong. The keyboard is a perfect size and the keys have a nice feel when typing. The tablet locks right into place, nice and snug in the screen portion of the case. The magnets keep the case closed, nice and tight. I love everything about the case but my one complaint is the notch where you place the tablet to sit up, which is made of a hard plastic and will bend over time if you move the tablet around too much, so there are (and or can be) fitment issues where the screen won't sit up as nicely if the tablet wiggles back and forth inside the notch. This is my second case now since the price was significantly lowered and it's holding strong after a few months of regular use. I'm much more careful with this one so that the tablet doesn't bend the notch to hold it in place when I sit it up right. This is a great buy and terrific case for the Note Pro 12.2.

This is a great keyboard, excellent build quality, which is expected from Logitech. It really makes my Note 3 Pro 12.2 feel like its a laptop. I also love the keys hotkey shortcuts that easily link to different apps ie, music, internet, and email. This a great addition to your tablet so definitely consider this when purchasing.

Case is Nice, just one issue

I really like the case. The quality is nice. The only issue is how the tablet connects to the case. The plastic tabs are terrible. They do not hold the tablet in place at all. The tablet easily slides itself out of the plastic tabs. They need to place tabs at the bottom so that the tablet stays secured when closed.

    nice cover/keyboard but. . . .

I bought the new Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 not long ago and have been looking for a cover and keyboard for it. I debated on this one for a long time because of the price, color (prefer a white to match tablet), and the so so reviews. I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. I really like the way the case looks, being similar to the faux leather on the back of the tablet, and the keyboard is really nice. I had given it a 3 star for several reasons: (1) price, (2) comes with no instructions, and non available on-line, and (3) it leaves a permanent mark (line) across the whole length of the screen. It's from the edges of the trough that holds your tablet upright. Luckily I have a screen saver on but not sure if the mark had gone through. Now, I have to make sure I have something soft to lay across the keyboard and trough both. I haven't decided if I'll return this item or not.

Excellent keyboard until Samsung OS upgrade

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

i purchased the keyboard on July 6, 2015. The keyboard is of very high quality and worked perfectly well for almost a week. It has not worked since Samsung upgraded its operating system for the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. I've conversed with Samsung and Logitech and was told that Samsung would be implementing a fix. To date, 8/14/2015, the keyboard still does not work with the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 . This is the case even after Samsung guided me in rolling back the OS state prior to the upgrade. Incidentally, the keyboard works for my Samsung Note 8. If you decide to purchase this keyboard, I suggest that you take your tablet with you and make sure it works with our tablet before leaving the store. Otherwise, you would have what is a great keyboard that does not work with the tablet it was designed for, the Samsung 12 Pro. I plan to follow-up with both Samsung and Logitech again today. Hopefully, the issue is resolved very soon. So, frustrating, as it was a great keyboard. With this being said, I cannot reasonably recommend the keyboard until the issue has been resolved. If the issue is resolved, I would recommend it without hesitation.

Keyboard functional, retaining clips not so much

    Posted .

I have been using this keyboard/case for six weeks. Ii is a good companion to the Galaxy Note 4 Pro. The keyboard is decent, feel is OK, travel adequate. As a case it leaves a lot to be desired. First the good, the case is sturdy and the multiple ways it can fold works quite well. The angle that the tablet is at when the keyboard is exposed is comparable to the angle a laptop screen is held at.. The Bluetooth connection works reasonably well though not all of the time. It has to be reset or power cycled from time to time, easy enough as there the reset and the on off switch are readily accessible. A case is intended to provide some protection to the tablet. Its sturdy construction would do this if the clips that hold the tablet in were adequate, The two on the side seem to be quite workable. The clips across the top are just a little short and do not adequately hold the top in place. The result is that the tablet can fall out or flop forward unexpectedly when opening the case or refolding it. So far no disasters but the potential is substantial. There is also the inconvenience of having to re insert the tablet more than occasionally. If the clips had been properly designed I would have given this 4 stars. I checked that I would recommend this as it is a decent design but I would only recommend it with reservations.

    Best. Purchase. Ever.

I bought this a few days after getting my Samsung Tablet three months ago wanting protection more than anything. I find the protection to be substantial, but what I'm impressed by is the utility and integration. The battery life is really good...I've never exhausted it when connecting it to the charger every week or two...only when I think, "Hmm...it's been a while, I should probably charge this." It took a few days, but I'm used-to the spacing of the keyboard and quickly learned to use it in tandem with the touch screen to make navigation of the device feel natural and efficient. I'm very happy that I bought this cover for my tablet.

Ok so only have been using this keyboard for just 15 minutes & I HAD to MAKE an account on Best Buy to review this product!! I just bought a Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 & along with it I bought the keyboard. I can say I am VERY happy with my purchase!!!! While typing I do make VERY little mistakes. It has a nice feel, the keys have a contur to them so my fingers can find the keys, FULLY functional keys!! number, caps lock, shift control, volume control ect!!! It didn't work at first (b/c I didn't switch it on lol) I can control about 90% of my tablet thru the keyboard. One thing, there's no prediction text there must be a setting I'll have to find it. And there's no auto correct, but then again- there must be setting, I'll just have to find it.

Has a 2-year Shelf Life & Small Issues w/ Syncing

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I absolutely love this keyboard, however I only gave it 3 stars because I had to deal with it's problems with syncing sometimes. It feels like buffering issues because txt will not appear on the screen for a while and it struggles to keep up a lot of times (and that is when I'm typing things slowly like "lol" or "yw"). It might just be mine, I tried syncing and re syncing but the problem still comes back about once ever 5 uses. The main problem is, however, the left holder that helps snap the tab in place broke off from frequent use. Tapping on the tablet over a period of time causes wear on this and it breaks off. The "dugout:" that the tablet is placed in is also a bit narrow and the tablet falls on it's own and leans against the back support causing strain on it too. If you plan on using your tablet everyday like I do and you type and tap on it a lot, this will break on you. Otherwise, it's okay for casual use. I am looking for something better, or a separate blue tooth keyboard and holder.

Bought a new Pro 12 note tablet today with this Keyboard. It is no longer compatible. As soon as your tablet upgrades to Lollipop it will not work. Sorry but the keyboard should be pulled from stock!!! I now have to drive an hour to go to Best Buy and take mine back!! I did not know about the issue until I got home and the keyboard stopped working. First search on line showed the problem. I can't believe Best Buy is still selling this case/keyboard. :( NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER

It acts as a protective case for the tablet, the keys are very responsive, you can type while the tablet is detached. I have only charged it once in four months of ownership. For it's prices, there should have been back light.

    Very Unhappy With Problem

I bought the Samsung Note Pro tablet which I love I pretty much love anything Samsung I've had their phones for quite awhile and never had any issues! I needed something for simple internet searches or online shopping or information after my Laptop couldn't be used anymore something to use around the house or quick travel.I prefer to use a keyboard to type and I bought this as an early Birthday present for myself so I bought it in December 2014 I haven't even had this keyboard 7 months yet and I spent over $100 as I'm sure most other people have. This isn't a cheap add on what so ever and to not even have it a full year where a update on my tablet cause it not to work angers me a lot to spend that much money on something that should last! I think the company should do something about this even if its to give us 25 dollars off the spend to a new keyboard I think this is unfair that the two companies are keeping quiet and not willing to make things right!! Do not buy this product it was great while it lasted but not worth the money to have this happen!!

This is my first bluetooth keyboard case , so I have nothing to compare it to. So far this is a great case. The keys are as easy to use as my computer keyboard. Looks good on it too. Some are saying that it comes out too easy, but no problems here. Perfect fit.

    Non replaceable battery.

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This keyboard would be excellent except for the non replaceable battery. Basically, the battery is a tiny 140mAh Li-PO embedded in a non user serviceable package. Li-PO batteries require a very stable and accurate charge/discharge and protection circuit in order to operate for the expected lifetime of at least four to five years. My unit was changed once, and then when I tried to re-charge it, it failed to take a charge, The unit would work if plugged in, but was dead the moment the charger was removed. This has been reported on the web in several places, so I am not alone. I suspect there were either a batch of inferior batteries, or the charge circuit was overcharging the battery, or allowing the battery to discharge too low. It is either due to poor component quality control or poor design respectively. It is very annoying to have to deal with a battery issue when everything else is working fine. I discovered mine had failed just after the warranty period of course. A replaceable battery would cost less than the price to ship it back for repair. I would rather see a battery hatch on the top of the keyboard than to have the unit fail prematurely and have to deal with the headache of repairing or replacing it. These units really need to allow battery replacement like the Logitech headphones do. This keyboard is just too expensive to have to deal with battery issues. I'm giving it one star for the defect, bit if you get a good battery/charge combination, it is a really nice keyboard for it's thickness. Your experience may vary.

This Product No Longer Works with Galaxy Pro 12.2

Since the "upgrade" of the Android OS, this product does NOT work with Samsung Galaxy Pro 12.2 tablets. To to-and-fro over this issue is ridiculous, with most parties denying responsibility, and no timetable for fixing the problem. Doucmented here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-note-pro-12-2/551276-bluetooth-issues-after-5-0-2-a-3.html It was a GREAT keyboard/case (5 starts) before the OS upgrade and the ensuing nonsense from the vendors.

This was a great product. HOWEVER, if will be upgrading your NotePro 12.2 to the lastest version of Android (5.0.2) this keyboard will NOT WORK. That update came out a few days ago and the keyboard no longer works. Logitech support and Samsung support are not silent while the newsgroups are bursting with complaints.

I think best buy should be aware by now that this item will not function properly since the latest android update. Do not buy this product. It will not work. I really liked it until suddenly it stopped working. I am studying abroad in a 3rd world country. I can't go and buy a different bluetooth keyboard anywhere here. Even if they ever resolve this issue I will always question it's reliability. I can't count on it. To be honest, I am surprised Best Buy is still selling it.
