I bought this on a whim to use with my MacBook Pro with Touchbar (late 2016 version). Given the MacBook only has USB-C connections, the Apple dongle from USB-C to standard USB & HDMI allows me to plug in the narrow-sized USB connector that comes with the R800. I had problems plugging in HDMI and my old USB adapter for an older pointer because the adapter was too wide (see pictures). The R800 packaging also notes it is Windows compatible with no mention of Mac support but it did work for me using PowerPoint 2016. The R800 range is 100 feet vs. standard 50 on most other options. The green laser is bright and strong.

Nice upgrade from the original. Range seems to be improved on this model.

This simple device essentially does one thing: it switches slides during a presentation. There are some little things, like textured slideshow buttons and a green laser pointer that has an extreme level of contrast that works even on TVs. All in all, a pretty nice tool for professionals who want to make a good impression with a smooth presentation.

I liked the Logitech presenter because of it's small size and easy to use design.

The ergonomic design makes it comfortable in the hand. The intuitive layout of the buttons is awesome. The vibrating countdown timer is a great method of keeping presentations on track without a clock which can distract your audience. A great remote for anyone working towards their CTT+ certification.

This Logitech clicker has been a fantastic tool throughout grad school. I use it regularly to practice presentations and always bring it with me to conferences. It has even come in handy when the provided clicker at a conference wasn’t working—definitely a lifesaver. It connects seamlessly with Microsoft PowerPoint, and the laser pointer is clear and effective. Overall, it’s a reliable, well-designed tool that I highly recommend to anyone who gives frequent presentations.

I got this so that my wife could do presentations without needing to stand behind a podium or walk back and forth to her laptop to navigate her slides. She had originally asked about getting a laser pointer so I did some research and found this handy wireless presenter / laser pointer combo. It was quite reasonably priced compared to other alternatives I found so I was a little skeptical that it would work well, despite having the Logitech label on it. Installation could not have been simpler. Simply plug in the USB dongle and pull out the battery saver tab. I was able to start testing it immediately. The green laser worked great although I find the dot a tad fuzzy compared to other lasers I have owned in the past. It simply does not have as crisp an edge to it than I expected. However I may be spoiled having used some very expensive pointer systems in the past. Using the buttons to navigate the slides is intuitive and very responsive. I also like the ability to disable the display at the start or end of the presentation. That was a nice feature I have never had on presenters before. All in all it is a very well priced device that does the job very well. So if I have nothing but good things to say about it you may wonder why I did not give it 5 stars. The reason is I rate on a bell curve. To get 5 stars in my book something has to be truely outstanding, not just very good. Far too many people rate on an inverted bell curve which is useless in my book; you cannot truely get a sense for how good (or bad) something really is because _everything_ gets either the lowest or highest score every time. I purchased this item to use in a college class as part of my final presentation, being able to set a timer on it was extremely handy as well as the laser pointer and page turning functions. However my only gripe with it is the lack of clarity around the setting and using of the timer. As due during the timer setting being modified, the page turning function stops working. But determining this to other users who have not used one before was very difficult. Maybe a flashing light or haptic response of "edit timer mode" and then a timeout to back out of the function. Just my thoughts. 4/5 for great function when well versed in the manual, but for those who have never seen its literature, it can be a steep learning curve that can confuse some people.

I love this presenter! I use it for 6-8 training events and it definitly helps keep you on task. The laser is strong and even visible in highly lit rooms. Easy setup and no problem with Mac connection as some other reviews have mentioned. Great timer feature. Only downside would be the battery drains quickly when the timer is set for more than 30min so have extra AAA on hand.

For the presenter who travels to unknown sites for an event, this is the best. I bought two and recommended to colleagues. Comes in very handy for presentations when you show up at a hotel and they do not have what you need.

There are a lot of great things about this presenter and a few things that I wish were a bit different. The timer is great to keep the presentation moving along. I like the display, but wish it had a backlight so I could see it in darker areas (for example when I'm playing a video in PowerPoint and the room is dark). The buttons are big and easy to maneuver. One other thing is the batteries don't last as long as I'd hoped.

Laser pointer is great, Quality is great and it is durable. Super easy to use. Range is great and no connectivity issues. Love you have several feature to customize to what you need.

This laser pointer presentation tool is a must have tool for the professional salesperson, manager or senior executive. Do not waste your money on a red laser pointer (Red lasers do not show up on the screen at distances greater than 25 feet.). Bright green lasers are the way to go for presentations that require pointing out critical information. This remote’s forward and rearward buttons allow you to advance or go back to prior slides with ease. As with all presentation tools, practice with this laser pointer so you can hit the laser button only and not bump the advance/go back buttons. This presenter has a built-in timer to help you track your time remaining for your presentation. Great buy for the professional presenter, salesman or public speaker.

Easy to use. All functions worked correctly. Just FYI there is no pause button for movies playing in Powerpoint. Little expensive.

A bit more expensive than the 400 model of presenter remotes. This one had the green laser and timer, which are cool features, however I've found I actually don't really use it as I look at my watch or clock on the wall rather than the remote. I really wish Logitech made the USB adapter one of their Unifying Receivers so I could connect this to my wireless mouse and keyboard's receiver.

I really love this presenter. It is very easy to use, and I really like the green laser vs the red. I love the timing feature, I usually set it up to remind me when I have about 5 minutes left so I can wrap it up. It has a very quick response, you press the forward button and your slide immediately responds, there is no delay at all. The range is amazing as well. It is very comfortable to hold in your hand, and it comes with a very nice carrying case. I highly recommend this presenter.

Went into the store for a different wireless presenter but they didn’t have the one I bought before. Glad they didn’t, this one reaches across our gym, green laser is bright, timer is an added bonus.

If you are in school or are a professional who makes presentations, this is a handy clicker to always keep with you. I present occasionally for school and work, so having one of these makes any presentation perfect because you have a better interaction with your audience. Eye contact is always key, and by being able to be in front of your audience rather than glued to a monitor helps. This clicker has a green laser pointer for any specifics you need to point out, and green is cooler since red is so outdated. The clicker itself has a built-in storage for the USB dongle that must be attached to the computer. Best of all, it has a timer which helps when presentations must be timed and kept on a tight schedule.
