I really wanted to like Apple Smart Keyboard. However, the clacking of the keys when I typed really bugged me. I could just imagine what it would sound like if I was typing notes at a meeting when everything else was silent! The Logitech keyboard has many positives: quiet keys, protection for the back as well as IPAD screen, Apple Pencil storage, backlit keys, magnetic on/off with closure, multilevel tilt options. As for negatives,.the lock key is very close to ‘delete’ key, so it’s easy to turn off the screen. However, it comes back on with touch of any key! so I’ve since changed my opinion of it as a positive. Kind of a nice way to save battery when you are in between notes. I wish it was a bit lighter, but the all round protection it provides for the IPAD is worth the little extra weight. The 1/2” ‘gusset’ that connects the keyboard with the magnet on the IPAD make the connection floppy. However, it also makes it easy to simply remove the keyboard and hold the IPAD only using the back cover. The cost includes items I would have had to purchase additionally with the Smart Keyboard, i.e. a cover for the back and pencil holder. So, for me, the Logitech Slim Keyboard Case is a keeper and will complement my IPAD PRO 10.5” functionality, since I am not a fan of typing on the screen keyboard.

This is my 3rd or 4th keyboard for an iPad. Definitely worth the money if you want to type a lot. I use my iPad Pro 10.5" more now that I have this! LOVE the magnetic connection. LOVE the NO batteries, no need to charge! LOVE the light up keyboard. LOVE the keys. I can type pretty fast on this. I was thinking if you had big hand and fingers- maybe you wouldn't love it as much- go for the bigger one? I LOVE that you just pull it apart. I LOVE the stand/hinge- I use it on the couch all the time and I can adjust it to be in a perfect position. It is pretty much everything I have ever wanted in an iPad keyboard. -I would prefer the iPad pencil holder to be a rubber clip in type- like a different cover I've seen. But I like all the other things better. -Some shortcut buttons would be nice- open safari, mail, messaging. But that's okay. I never thought I'd want the bigger iPad Pro- but this keyboard almost makes me wish I had that- (If they made this keyboard for that size).

This is the best keyboard case I have ever bought. I set my Apple Air 3 into the case and it turned on the iPad and keyboard then I was going to pair it but couldn’t find the keyboard in the Bluetooth menu because it pairs them automaticlly Now when I open the case the iPad is turned on as well as the keyboard and work instantly with no delay It’s a little pricey but I was getting tired of buying a new case every couple of months having them crack loosing connection I think this one will pay for itself by not having to replace all the time

Love this back lit magnetic key board. Keys are not cheap and it closes tightly, time will tell for longevity but I expect it to protect my investment.

I purchased for my wife's IPad The cover is thick and bulky it makes the iPad heavier, however it also make it feel secure it is convenient to have tha case separate from the keyboard and a Ipen holder The keybord feels ok, overall my wife is happy and feels she can carry the Ipad anywhere with no worries

Purchased for my daughter's iPad Air. Fits &functions perfectly!

I am not satisfied with this time transaction.I got the item without seal tags. And when I came home and open it, my daughter said there seems like a scratch that been refurbished. Shows like the picture.

I purchase this for my son his fiat day of high school last August. And by January une of the keys of the keyboard fell off. Not even six moths after. I don’t recommend this product.

I purchased this along with an iPad Pro. I was debating between the Apple version and this one since they are the only 2 keyboard accessories compatible with the pins. I ended up with this one since it offers many more pluses such as built in light for keyboard, kick stand to hold up the iPad in different angles, a strap to hold the pen, and no need for batteries for power. The only drawback is that it is kind of heavy to carry around but I’m sure not a lot of people will mind this. The other issue, which seemed strange to me, was that one day my iPad stopped charging even when plugged in with power. I decided to remove the keyboard and voila the issue was fixed. The point is that there maybe something in this keyboard that draws power from the ipad or something else to the effect so Lee that in mind. You will not regret the purchase!

The things I like about this case is really good and the one thing I don’t like, to me is not so good. So I love that it uses smart connector so everything is seamless...no batteries, charging, or pairing. The keyboard itself, one of the nicest I’ve used for iPad-very responsive, not bulky, backlit. I also totally love the stand. Works perfectly in both horizontal or vertical. Now the one thing I don’t like is when it’s closed, it doesn’t feel secure, like it’s not closed completely.

I like this a lot. Like most Logi products it's well made and provides decent protection. It uses the smart connector (no bluetooth) which saves battery life. Plus when disconnected from the smart connector, it's disconnected. Pairing and unpairing from Bluetooth can be a real pain. It's also thin and provides a decent level of protection. Of a limited selection, this gives you the best value for your money. Would be nice if BBY carried it in blue in the stores.

I watched a ton of videos before I end up purchasing a case. They make so many and i hate to buy something that I will end up returning later. That goes for all cases (iPhone and cell phone). I haven’t used a tablet in a while. I didn’t want a laptop because I have a great desk top for things that I need to do. I wanted something that was a little easier to carry around and do random things on. I really liked the feel of the apple keyboard case, but I didn’t want to spend that amount of money. Some of the reviews didn’t seem promising either... I am not going to lie. When I first opened this and put in on, I really thought I was going to hate it. I was ready to hate it. I thought the keyboard and the case would stay to together. They do not. You can easly take the keyboard off and just walk around with the case. It really is nice. Most of the time I am not really typing and when I am, I just attach and do what I need to do and then take it off. My husband hasn’t tried to use it. I don’t know how it would work on big man hands. But I have pretty big hands for a woman and I find it quite comfy. I love that it will light up while I use it. I don’t have to charge this. Pair it. Nothing. It stays together great. Makes great clicky noise, but isn’t to loud. Feels good.

I first tried ZAGG - Rugged Messenger Book Keyboard Folio Case but not being able to seperate the keyboard from the iPad was a pain. The keyboard travel on the Logitech is good but I did feel the keyboard was easier to adapt from my MacBook's on the ZAGG. My only other gripe is that the magnet securing the keyboard to the iPad is a little weak and can seperate if you pick up the iPad too quickly.

The keyboard has a nice feel to it, and you don't have to wait for a battery to charge with it. I'm not sure if there is an option to turn power off and still leave it connected to the iPad, as at present I'm disconnecting the keyboard when I don't want to use it. The cover seems to provide decent protection.

I love the keyboard. The backlighting really helps and I love being able to remove the keyboard easily. They flexibility if the stand is great for all kinds of locations and angles.

This more expensive than the apple keyboard, but it’s totally worth it since a case is included with the keyboard. The case is pretty sturdy and the keyboard is detachable. Another nice thing is that the stand provides multiple ways of viewing without having to hold it up. With this, it works just like a laptop.

Every iPad Pro in the office now has one of these. Very solid and comfortable lit keyboard. Very sturdy build quality. Makes an iPad almost as functional as a laptop (minus mouse). Decent protection for the device. It can be a little finicky with the connection, but simply separating from the iPad and magnetically reattaching always does the trick. There are no other keyboard on the market for the iPad that come close to the Logitech case/keyboard. The only ding would be the price, but in this case you do get what you pay for.

Love this keyboard case. I use it multiple times each day and have only good things to say about it. I use it in my lap 99% of the time and have never had a problem with it. The connection remains solid and reliable. The kickstand is very sturdy. The magnetic connection is excellent with this case, so I also save battery life. IPad protection is very important to me, and I'm very happy with this case. The backlit keyboard with shortcut keys is everything I hoped for. This review is written with it. This case holds my Apple Pencil securely and provides easy access. Excellent cutouts and easy access to all ports and buttons on my iPad Pro 10.5. Very happy with my purchase and recommend this highly.

I was going to buy the separate keyboard, case, and Ipencil holder, but then I found this! It’s just what I needed. It keeps my iPad safe, has a detachable keyboard and has a secure place for your ipencil. The only complaint I would have is that when placing it in a bag the ipencil can easily get caught if there isn’t enough room. But otherwise great and much cheaper option!

This case is a lot more durable than the apple iPad keyboard case and the price is much cheaper. The only downfall I can see is that it is a little bulky, but I am getting used to it. I have only had it for a couple months, but seems to work great! I don’t like that when I remove the keyboard, that there’s no cover protection for the front of the iPad though.
