From an ergonomics viewpoint and for having precise mouse control this is one of the best mice I’ve used. This is the second one that I’ve gotten however, because the small contact switches for the buttons tend to wear out after several years of use. The feel of the mouse and precise control is so good though, as well as the low price (around $30), that I had to get another one.

Logitech Trakball (corded, index finger control)

I bought this as a gift for my husband. I was replacing a worn out much earlier version of this trakball so the design is just what he wanted. I on the otherhand prefer the thumb-controlled trakball and find this model very hard to use and just plain disturbing lol. Its corded btw, if that matters to you. He seems to like the new trakball just fine so I would call it a successful pairing.

I've used these trackballs for more than 10 years now. This newer model has added small left and right buttons that can be used for scrolling. That feature is OK but it requires a click to start and another click to stop. I would prefer a thumb wheel . The software for setting up the functions is very good. If using a mouse hurts you and you do normal computer navigation and pointing, make this trackball the first one you try.

Easy to use, and install. It is a reliable mouse, but I wish it was wireless.

I wanted to purchase a replacement mouse for the kids' computer, but it seems like everything I saw was wireless. The kids saw this device on the shelf and said they wanted it. They saw a co-worker of mine with a similar device and really liked it. The device itself is easy to setup - just plug it in and go, no special software required. The kids like using it and it is easy to use for left or right handed people.

This is an excellent trackball design. I've been using one and, after 9 years, one of the clickers wore out. I recently bought a new one and am just as happy with it. It's very adjustable and best used on a keyboard tray. (I have a negative tilt keyboard tray which improves the ergonomics even more.) I also find it easier to draw with than a mouse once you get the hang of it. Negatives: It obviously lacks a wheel. Although Logitech has a switch to turn the trackball into a wheel onscreen, I don't use it often enough. Also, they do not make a wireless model... yet. This is far better than the Logitech track ball models that require the thumb to drive the ball. Friends in graphic design have suffered repetitive stress injuries in their thumb joints using those.

This mouse is my second Logitech trackball for working from home, my other trackball is at the office. The trackball is great for setting on a small keyboard tray where there is not a lot of room to move a traditional mouse. I purchased the one for my office 12 years ago and it is still going so I have high hopes for this one.

This mouse is wonderful. The tracking ball has great precision and eliminates the need to move the whole mouse around. I use this mouse for more than eight hours a day and have no hand fatigue. It is also very durable. This purchase was to replace the same model mouse which I used for more than ten years. That's amazing!

I recently experienced tendonitis in my right hand and wanted a mouse that could reduce the pain. This mouse works super and quite honestly my pain has subsided since I do not have no keep my right hand in a awkward position all the time.

Only trackball I can find that functions like the very old one with the beige case and the huge red ball. These were popular maybe 15 years ago when Logitech first brought them out. They were many hundreds of dollars on eBay for a few years. I have three of them—all are completely worn out—and they eventually cured my carpal tunnel. This one is a replacement for the identical trackball I am now using. Wired is OK as my Logitech keyboard that is even older is wired. But I have two more of those KB’s left. Oh, yes. I have only ever bought Logitech devices for this sort of thing since they came out. (I’m 74, BTW.)

My son has been able to use this mouse easier than a regular mouse since he was 2. My husband has had this type of mouse for more than 8 years. Our old one just got corroded with a toddler using it. We made sure to buy the exact same mouse and are extremely happy with it.

Very inexpensive but very effective. I use it for a digital audio workstation where I have no space for a regular mouse but just enough to place this (not on a desk but on equipment rather) Works smooth and didn't need to install any software for Windows 8.1 to recognize it. Although if you want to change button operation you will need to install software. After I did, the software seems kinda glitch, automatically flipping tabs and kind of hard to dial in and get it how I want it. Would be GREAT if it had a dedicated button that would change the ball to a scroll wheel (hold down to activate)...for now I just have to click an hold on the scroll bar and roll it. Not too bad that way.

Size of product is perfect- very comfortable. Very good in small space like my situation using large laptop on pullout computer drawer in entertainment center. Just room for the tracking ball but no space to move a mouse around as needed.

This mouse is easy to use. Requires little desk space, fits well for finger placement. I use this for gaming because it gives me the needed buttons without overloading me with 99 options to confuse me. This is the mouse I always buy.

I have tried a bunch of different mouses over the years and this is the best one to date. Anyone that uses Photoshop this is a go to mouse for the ease and simplicity of not having to move the whole mouse just a ball.

Love using this mouse since I need to wear a brace due to carpal tunnel at work. I been using track ball for few years now at home while working with photo edit software. A lot easier to use over a standard mouse.
