These are the best 2.1 speakers I have ever owned, the sound is amazing, the bass is mind blowing, the quality is really really good, if you are looking for nice speakers while not breaking the bank this set will blow you away. Shame Bestbuy did not sell it locally, so I had to buy it from another retailer, If you are out there looking for a 3 piece set make yourself a favor and try these, you won't regret it, I can assure you that!

Got these babies earlier this year and have used it on my home desktop as an upgrade from an older set of 2.1s. Let me say the quality is unbelievable from every range of sound to every type of music. With bass turned all the way up with the right song you can literally shatter glass. Best part is no distortion, even at max levels. With the price it's a steal. I highly recommend for any music/movie lover. Works well with iPods too.

I bought these speakers to replace my old logitech x-530 and having listened to my friend's klipsch promedia 2.1 i was contemplating to get a set of those. however after months of thinking i purchased these z-2300 and they are simply amazing. My whole room shakes let alone the whole house. I will definitely not be returning these. great bang for your buck and worth every penny spent. you will not be disappointed

I'd read a lot of review on products while upgrading my dinosaur (read: 3 year old) computer. I'd grabbed this system based on the reviews coupled with a SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity sound card to replace my SB Audigy SE that had blown an audio decoder. Now, I used to have a speaker system that looked like (but certainly didn't sound like) the Bose Lifestyle speaker system, the cube-shaped ones. It was a good speaker system that served me well over the last three years, but since I needed a new sound card, I figured I'd make the Best Buy/HHB credit card combo happy and spend a little more money on new speakers. Oh. My. God. This setup is beautiful. While it doesn't have a treble knob on the "remote" that sits on your desktop (which I quite like, considering the old system I had required me to reach under my computer desk to adjust the volume), the bass adjustment knob coupled with the SB's audio adjustment software compensate for that and really isn't a big deal. These speakers are a dream. I've heard things through this setup that I've never heard before in my mp3 music that I normally listen to while doing homework for my graduate courses. This is the most crisp, impressive set of computer speakers I've ever owned. The music is incredibly brilliant. I would highly recommend using these speakers combined with a Creative SB X-FI-type quality sound card or above because you can't have a good combination without both parts being equally impressive. HIGHLY recommended.

I bought this system to replace a big bulky stereo I had connected to my computer. Going by past experiences, I didn't think computer speakers could produce sound similar to that of a sound system, but after buying this speaker set, I am totally convinced. The sound coming from these speakers are superb and the subwoofer produces bass that is loud and crisp. Overall this is great product for the price tag.

Primarily using this speaker system as an alternative to a home theater system and, secondarily, as a computer/mp3 player speaker system. For my 500sqft living room, at 1/4th volume, it's perfect for everyday use. At 1/2 volume it's good for movie nights and loud enough to hear over vacuuming. Easy connection as it only took the included RCA adapter and a male-male RCA (phono) cable, which was purchased separately at Radio Shack for $7, to connect to my HDTV's RCA audio out. Bottom line, (i) audio quality is well worth the price, (ii) good alternative for home theater system if for a small room and/or if money conscious, and (iii) they are great as computer speakers. Only con, minimum bass is good for listening when your neighbors are awake; however, even at normal volumes it will surely wake them if they are sleeping.

Works great with my dell xps m1710 laptop. Great for movies music and games. Sounds clear, but I'm not that picky. I was going to get the Z-5500 but they wouldn't work with a laptop, So I got these. I got the Two year warrenty from Best Buy just incease, always a good idea for speaker. If your looking for a cheap set of speakes with great bass them you found them.

love these speakers. i had some creative speakers before and these blow them out of the water. the adjustable bass ability is really nice as well to not annoy too many people with vibrating the walls. :) really easy setup and they are amazing for computer speakers. must get if you are looking for a great pair of computer speakers!

I read reviews on these that said the mids and highs were muffled or lost, and they're all wrong....they just don't know how to balance them with the powerful bass...these sound incredible!! You can't ask for louder, if that's what you're after, and the sound is awesome whether you're playing music (mostly with me), or gaming (sound is incredible). I would recommend these to everyone...especially with them being so inexpensive! The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars across the board is that there ARE better looking systems out there (check out how cool the Altec Lansing Expressionist Ultra MX6021 ones look!), and the subwoofer is HUGE! Other than that, these speakers are absolutely the best 2.1 speakers I've ever heard, hands down :-)

These are possibly the best speakers u could ask for. The sub hits hard enough to rattle my desk when turned all the way up. the only thing is if u want the real clean sub look at the bose companion 3 just $40 more if u want a crisp sound. but these are the ones u want if u want very good sound quality, witha sub that can blow u away.

the ultimate speakers. i had them for an hour and had the cops called for having it turned half way up and being outside. the guy that called them on me lives 5 houses away. just goes to show that these speakers kick. i would reccommend them to anyone and everyone looking for the a deep base with out sacraficing sound quality.

This system is a really must have, the bass is so good, you wanna feel bass then sit by this sub when it's playin a song, you wont change back to your old speakers. The sound quality is also very very good, I just got this system 2 days ago, and I'm already 100% pleased with it. I recommend it to anyone who wants powerful bass.

Was going to buy a set of bose pc speakers but the price was holding me back. After reading some reviews thought I would give these logitech speakers a try being happy with other logitech products. I have no regrets going with these instead of the bose I even listen to some rap becouse of th e good bass ( not too much)1

THX certified I'll buy it. I've never looked back. This system rocks, and I should know. I am a musician and I have an affliction with sound systems. I even have a built in system for my garage. The reason for wishing that I had control of the treble is because years of playing the drums have made my ears sensitive to certain tones. This system fills any space to its entirety. Movies on my mac are truly impressive with HD video and 2.1 logitech sound. It's hard to believe, but I have a 7.1 system and a 52" t.v. in the other room and I am just as happy with this system on my mac.

This speaker system exceeded my expectations. It sounds great! The subwoofer is a bit too large for my taste. It does provide great bass, but it's also about the size of a home theater subwoofer. If you have the space for the subwoofer, this speaker system comes highly reccommended.

This system offers the best of both worlds with outstanding bass, and crisp highs. There is no distortion, and it can get loud enough to rattle the walls, and doors in my house! No joke, and with the console adapter makes watching action movies another experience!!!!

Excellent Speakers. Work very well at normal and loud volumes. When playing soft music, bass gets in the way even when turned to the minimum. If you're looking for good quality sound while listening to soothing music... well, honsetly, you don't need a sub. These work very well for all kinds of other music. The bass is fantastic. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone who just wants to listen to music, maybe with a touch of bass.

This is the best PC speaker system I have ever had. The sound and quality is totally amazing. Easy volume controls, one for the sub, one for the system. Totally awesome system.

I bought these speakers to replace my old ones. I wanted speakers and a subwoofer because I love bass. After reading so many of these reviews I felt this speaker system would be the best for me. So after buying them and hooking them up I was surprised the bass wasn't louder,but maybe thats just me. Nothing sounds better than really loud speakers,which is a quality they entail. All in all I'm glad I bought them!
