This 4k battery is horrible and I’m on my way to return it day, it’s been 3 days and the battery went from 100% to 60%. Also it never connects to the lorex app remotely. This is the 3rd battery that I tryed and all lorex products are not good. Best Buy should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a horrible product. Not to mention lorex’s immigrant, foreign outsourced customer service barely speak English! Do not buy lorex !

I’d give it zero stars if I could. I have other Lorex devices, which is why I went with this one. However, the battery life is horrible. It only lasts a few days while my 2K are working great. I contacted Lorex because the viewing of the camera only shows the middle 1/3 of the screen and only vertical and I was given a file with the different ratios of the different doorbells and it’s just the way it is. I’m not impressed at all, and this is a huge disappointment. Unless there is a software fix coming out, I’ll use this as a paperweight. I’d rather buy another 2K Battery doorbell than have to charge this every three days.

I ordered two of these, one for the front and other for the back doors. The front camera consistently loses connection to the WiFi and is unable to get a camera view, cannot answer through the app, nothing. The back door camera connects, however the battery drains too quickly.

This 4k wifi video doorbell is useless, i am mortified at Lorex knowing that they are in the video security bizness for such long time. Doorbell video and motion detection is horrible. Worst doorbell ever

I have a lorex system and all works fine except for this one it failed miserably. The battery life wont last for even 4 days just beware if you are not planning to use the AC power.

Marketing email from Lorex says I should get about 180 days of battery life. I get a week tops with the resolution dialed all the way down and maybe no more than 5 motion events. I RMA’d the first one thinking it was a battery issue. Same deal with the new one. To actually run on 4K I probably wouldn’t get more than a few days until I have to recharge.
Great idea but back to the drawing board with this one!!

I bought this because i have lorex cameras outdoor and the quality of the videos are good, the only issue here is the battery, it lasts only for 3days, so you need to recharge it which is really hassle for me. I hope lorex company will do something about this.
