Great Surround Headset for Gaming and Beyond

The headset is a gaming headset, but the looks sleek and quietly stated. The result is a headset that looks cool in and out of the home and fitting for any location. Set up for the LS41 is very easy. The headset is wireless via an USB dongle connected to a console or TV. The 7.1 is provided by connecting to the optical out port and connecting to provided USB dongle with the cable that comes as a part of the included accessories. The USB dongle can also be connected to a computer for stereo sound. The range is easily 30ft or more from USB dongle. The LS41 headset can also support Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic if used with a Xbox One system. The cost is just right for a durable headset that has plush earcups with built-in cooling gel that keep you comfy during short and extend gaming sessions. The sound is announced via the voice prompts (3 modes for stereo or surround depending on the connected source) and welcomes you to epic clarity and plenty bass. Sound is awesome for games and the movies you may watch via console. The chat is clear whether using the attached mic or the mic built into the headset. The game volume and chat volume are each controlled via a separate dial on the earcups and can each be silenced by pressing in the earcups. If you have mic attached, it is has indicator light to inform you if it is muted. Battery life is strong at 15+ hours, so it can keep you going through multiple gaming sessions. Whenever you need to take a break, the headset band can be placed on your neck and earcups turn and flatten inward. The LS41 is an amazing surround sound gaming headset that will easily become the preferred method for hearing audio during gaming sessions.

Great sound ... but....

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though it can connect to the XBOX via usb dongle in the front Via optical cable to the back and connect the 3.5mm to the Xbox controller to the headset.... the chat and volume controls to be easy to figure out but for If it had a noticeable notch to help find the middle ground of game and chat volume cuz it’s not instantaneous, gradually goes up and down .... BUT for $200 .... in 2020 .... “HEADSET WITH NO BLUETOOTH?!?” Really?

Miss leading product summary.

Basically overpriced stereo head set out of the box. Requires Dolby Atmos decoder inorder to use it. Also headset only works in 7.1 on PC or mobile (where decoder is installed) does not work on PS4 (stereo only).
