This is a great single player game with tons of content. There's so much to do, and I was so happy with the fact that the developers didnt throw in a half-baked multiplayer mode just because thats what everyone else is doing. One of the best games I've played in a long time.

If you don't have this in your games library then shame on you. Graphics are great, atmosphere is spot on, cars look true to the world of mad max. Only thing that it doesn't have that would have been great is random encounters with other people playing the game, sort of like how they did the multiplayer in the crew. Other than that....a must buy

Overall the game is a reincarnation of all the great WB games like the Batman Arkham series and Shadows of Mordor with the addition of car customization and combat. The story line is kind of weird and its definitely not in cannon with the Fury Road movie but fun none the less. WOO!!

If you're a fan of cars & an open world, then this is a must have purchase. Upgrading the car is so much fun. Taking out clans of bandits is top notch fun as well. Any fan of the Mad Max series will enjoy playing this title. Especially the PS4 version, which has exclusive content

The game recreates the tone and look of Fury Road very well. The combat is fun, especially if you're already familiar with the Arkham/Shadow of Mordor strike/parry/counter-type systems. The missions and side-missions are fun, but there are a lot of them, and they can get a bit stale if taken in during an extended play session. The upside is, there's plenty of upgrades to Max, his car and his stats, all of which feel useful and welcome additions to the various arsenals with which you're working. I recommend digesting the game in smaller chunks than one might indulge in whilst playing other sandbox-type games.

I am a huge fan of the Mad Max series. This game is very true to that storytelling saga, mixing then combat system from Shadow of Mordor with an engaging racing/vehicle usage. The story itself is a bit simple (like the movies, honestly), but it's gorgeous and the world is huge. It boils down to being a big sandbox that is fun to play in.

I don't understand the negative reviews from most of the review sites; this is a pretty fun game...while the control and fighting scheme is taken from games like Arkham and Shadow of Mordor the world and environment of mad max is gorgeous. I think this game is worth playing.

If you like driving around destroying things with a car this is a good game for you. If you have played Batman or Shadow of Mordor, you will like the hand to hand combat. Everything looks like it is right out of the movie. The game does get a little repetitive at times.

Love this game. Did not take me as long as I would have thought. I only got hung-up on 1 part and found out it was because of software issues. If you did not do a few missions in exactly the right order it would glitch. However, the game was fun and loved playing it.

Great game a lot of side missions to do. Reminds me of like borderlands meets fallout meets the last of us. The only downfall on it was for me the ending other then that I loved it. Some top dogs caps were hard but level up your character to make the battles easy.

    Glitch and Repeat

The first few hours of Mad Max were a fun mix of open world exploration and leveling up. Almost everything that followed was a disappointment. The game lacks for variety. By the four hour mark the only new or surprising things left were glitches. Sometimes Max would just die (once will sitting in a car, another time opening a chest). The game only supports auto save, so you're at the mercy of the system there. The fast travel function in the game ocassionaly breaks forcing you into long drives to engage in some repetitive task you've performed a dozen times before. Some have compared the combat in MM to that of the Arkham series, but that's inaccurate. In Arkham the camera pulls out to give you a sense of your surroundings, in Max the exact opposite happens. The camera moves infuriatingly close to Max during melee encounters. You know there's some enemy off screen but you don't know where until he smashes a pipe across your skull interrupting your combo or should you make the mistake of moving too close to a wall you'll be thrown into even more disorienting/useless first person perspective. For completionist there's the added downside of a faulty collectibles counter that can spaz without notice costing you trophies or forcing you into another playthrough. The lone bright spot in this heavily flawed game is the vehicle combat but that alone cannot redeem the numerous glitches, idiotic A.I. and boring mission structure.

It's very simplistic and repetitive in how the gameplay and progression works but there are some elements that are done quite well. Car combat isn't perfect but it's the most fun car gameplay wise in years and feels refreshing. Story is honestly not that good.

While the game is a times a little repetitive, this is overshadowed by the sheer beauty of the art design and fantastic dialogue. The controls can be clunky, but no more than Batman and other Warner titles. And look out! Those mighty dusters will mess you up!

This game may be getting over shadowed on release by MGS but it's definitely worth playing! Made by the guys who created Just Cause 2 you know this game has been put together well. The fighting, vehicles, customization and open world area's are very well done!

The perfect example of a "good, but not great" game. I love that you can upgrade both Max and his car, but the repetition of taking down camps gets old fast. Nevertheless, the game looks great and there is fun to be had so it's definitely worth picking up.

Very fun game! Surpringly great story, even without George Miller's input! Great graphics, fantastic environment! The only things I didn't like is the combat system is kind of meh, & there isn't much music played while driving. But overall I loved this game!

While the game is glitchy at times, it a lot of fun. The best part is that you can undertake a short mission when you don't feel like investing the time, or long story missions. This keeps you glued to the game to get "one more thing of the checklist."

Mad Max is a huge open world sandbox game such as Fallout, however this game is severely underrated. If you like an old school combat but yet beautiful sandbox and story line with kick butt graphics pick this game up! This game is underrated because of the other bigger titles that launched in September of 2015.

It's a decent open world game with a Mad Max skin applied to it. If you're a huge fan of Mad Max, this game should satisfy pretty well. If you were just hoping for a chaotic open world action game, you're probably better off getting Just Cause 3.

Very entertaining game from start to finish, the environment was created beautifully to give the feel of post-apocalyptic Australia. There is a lot to do in the game and the driving and fighting mechanics are awesome. Overall a great buy...
