Customers are saying

Customers commend the fun and engaging gameplay, expansive open world, and realistic driving mechanics of Pre-Owned Mad Max. Many also enjoyed the game's story and action-packed sequences, though some found the controls challenging and the experience repetitive after extended play. A few players noted difficulty spikes, while others questioned the replayability. Overall, the game is praised for its immersive world and exciting action, but potential buyers should be aware of some control and pacing issues.

The game has lots of features as far as driving , looting and upgrading both the cars and max himself. Lots of terrain to travel across and lots of extras as far as the game play goes.

I played around 20 straight hours. But it gets repetitive after. Fun game but needs a little bit of a change in the middle

This game has a big open world to explore for hours of game play. I enjoy using the cars for weapons more than my fists.

If you enjoy open world games, this should satisfy you - though considering the license, there mgiht be a bit TOO much to do. Mad Max's world is supposed to be a desolate one, but here you're running across people (most of whom want to kill you on sight) and locations on the regular. But there's a great variety of things to do and taking out convoys is basically like being the director of the Road Warrior climax. Worth playing the game for those alone.

If you enjoy open world games, and liked the movie Mad Max Fury Road then do yourself a favor and pick this game up! You can tell this game was crafted with the care of a developer who really respects the Mad Max franchise. Good open world. Good combat (like the Arkham series). Driving is fun. I enjoyed developing my vehicle a lot. Fun game! Hoping for more in the future.

It is unfortunate that it released the same day as Metal Gear Solid, because Mad Max is fun in its own right. Think of Just Cause with great car combat. You can harpoon cars! The missions do get somewhat repetitive (especially in clearing out towers), but it still is a blast to pick up and play. If you aren't into the apocalyptic setting, stay away, but if you are okay with the over-the-top styles and violence, you will be in for a fun ride.

If you enjoyed games like Batman Arkham Knight, Shadow of Mordor, Assassin's Creed- then this is a must play! You have an amazing open world that really lets you explore the gritty dirty post apocalyptic terrain of the Mad Max world. Fans of Fury Road or the Original Trilogy will not be disappointed! The game plays very similar to those that I mentioned but with the unique element of vehicular warfare. You can completely customize and tailor the character and his vehicles to your style. A must play for both movie lovers and fans of open world games.

Car racing and combat is top notch and is the best part of the game. The developers did a really nice job capturing the aesthetic of the film. The environment is filled with mood and scenic moments. Story has some interesting moments with some memorable characters but is never really captivating. While the open world adds a nice feeling of being a lone wander in the Wasteland, it really messes up the pacing of the story( this is a problem other open world games have but I felt it was way more prominent in this game than others I've played). The Story missions often blend with side quests and range from fun exploration to downright tedious errands. Usually the best missions involve a car chase or something like that as the ground game play is lacking. The ground combat is borrowed from the Arkham and Assasins Creed games. Its a tried and true formula but where as a game like Shadow of Mordor improved on the game play with combos and fluidity. Mad Max instead keeps it pretty basic and adds a couple of clunky game mechanics that take away from what the formula does best. As a whole though Mad Max is a mixed bag but is definitely worth a play especially if your a fan of the series. It just probably not worth $60, more like $30.

I am a fan of open world and gritty atmospheric games so this seemed to be the perfect mix. The game is fun, the vehicle combat is exhilarating, and the missions keep you invested in the game. The only problem I with "Mad Max" is that the driving in the lonely wasteland can get boring. At least they made it where you'll fight off a few war boys or convoys while driving to keep you entertained until you reach your next mission.

    Fun Game-Holds true to Classics

I felt like the game managed to hold true to a lot of the classic old Mad Max stories, and that made it much more awesome. Gameplay is fun and adds a touch of realism to some of the fighting. My only complaints are regarding the inability to climb everything and go anywhere. The world is expansive but there are limits in some areas and you can only climb upward in specified yellow marked spots. There are also a couple of spots in the geometry of the desert you can fall right through, but I am sure those will be fixed in an update in the future.

Loved this game, I think I logged a total of 80 hours on it. The story itself is fairly short if you go straight through it but there's plenty of side missions, races, and other things to do. If you're like me and an obsessive collector in games, this game will keep you busy for a long time. There's so much to collect and explore it's a little overwhelming but it's a fun game and I never got bored. It's essentially like Shadow of Mordor with cars and without the Nemesis system, but I liked this 10x more than SoM. A+
