I have had microwaves last me 5 to 8 years in the past This lasted 22 months....

I bought this to replace an identical unit we had bought 13 years ago which had all of sudden failed (no power). We liked that the unit was all stainless steel look & finish to match the rest of our appliance. And the size and power are ideal for our needs. The other thing we liked which is hard to find today is the pull handle vs. button release for the door. The new unit was identical except that the pull handle had a shiny chrome finish whereas the previous unit had a stainless steel finish. If the new unit lasts 13 years, we'll have more than gotten our money back.

It is exactly like the original microwave.. It was built in.. Looks the same, feels the same, but it is much louder... We are trying to muffle the sound with acoustic tile, but who knows?? Otherwise, it is a very stylish microwave for a very reasonable price.

This microwave surpasses our expectations. Very clean well made microwave. We like the handle, the ability to see inside while it is heating and the fact that it runs so quiet. So far we are very satisfied with the ease of use and how easy it is to clean.

The food gets hot quickly . Very classy design . Happy with purchase

This Magic Chef microwave Cooked fine for two days. Then started to make a grinding noise that got louder for the next four days and was vibrating, but it continued to heat the food. The warranty covered an in home repairman (for a $25 fee) but before the repairman could come, this micro made several very loud crunching noises and then settled down to quietly function as it should. It has been working just fine for the past week. So the jury is still out. Right now, it is all I hoped it would be. It has apparently fixed itself. I love the stainless steel interior and the handle. It's so much better than a push pad opener.

Solid microwave, had all the features we wanted and I'd say slightly exceeded expectations. The 1.3 CF size makes for a large microwave, but that's pretty typical for this size.

This is the second time I purchased this item. I had this exact same model before and it just stopped working after 6 years. I was VERY happy that the same model was still available after reading reviews on other models. Some models no longer have an interior light! You got to be kidding me!!!! This model did everything we needed it to do until the day the last one died. :( Very happy to get this replacement. I ordered online and it was at the store in a few days. The new microwave is quieter than the old one. Other than that they seem to be the same.

I had the same microwave for 2 years and it went out so I bought it again cause we liked the way the old one worked.

I had this same model built in under the counter in my kitchen for 9 years and it provided such great service that when it died one day recently, I bought the same model again and expect many years of heavy use. Great value for the price..

I had used this same microwave at a relative's house while living with them for a while. I liked it so much that when my other less desirable microwave went kaput, I bought a Magic Chef. So far so good.

Very happy with the looks of this unit and ease of use. Happy with size. Would highly recommend for purchase.

I love it and it is exactly as described online and by people. very easy to you and just the right size for my counter. Love all the new cooking choice selection buttons.

Our old (9 year old) microwave was pausing when defrosting, so I replaced it with the same model.

I actually bought this microwave oven as a donation so I am not actually going to use it. I know the name Magic Chef as a good company for ovens. It has good options and seems to be built well. It is a mid sized oven so if you don't have that much space in your kitchen this would be a good one to consider. This oven has a good price for for what you get especially considering the power it has. There are larger ovens that don't have as much power.

never could get the microwave cooking feature to work. Only the timer came on when it should have cooked. Took the microwave back and got a cheaper one at Costco for half the price that works great. Would have traded this out, but it took nearly two weeks to receive and had already been out of a microwave for nearly 1 month by this time.

looks and works great! Easy to clean interior too.

Everything worked great right out of the box. Quiet operation and easy to use controls. Everything was coated with a very thin plastic coating to eliminate scratches.

The microwave we received had to be returned. It kept shutting off and turning on by itself. The clock had to be reset each time. After calling Magic Chef we returned it to Best Buy. This one had an electrical problem. We won't take a chance on another one.

I bought it for my moms small counter in her kitchen, she loved the sleek look of the chrome and the size was just right for counter top. She loved all the options it had and it was great price.
