The Apple Keyboard is a good choice for anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use typing experience. Its sleek design and lightweight build make it a perfect companion for both home and office settings. The functionality is impressive, providing a smooth and responsive typing experience that enhances productivity.
However, there are a couple of downsides worth mentioning. Firstly, the lack of backlighting can be a bit of a drawback for those who often work in low-light environments. Additionally, the keyboard is quite thin, which might not be ideal for everyone. Lastly, the absence of an adjustable angle , potentially affecting ergonomics.
Overall, while the Apple Keyboard shines in its design and functionality, it could benefit from a few enhancements to improve user comfort.

Excellent Quality: The build quality is outstanding, as expected from Apple. The keyboard feels durable and well-constructed.
Key Travel and Feel: The key travel and tactile feedback are just right. Typing on this keyboard is a pleasure, with just the right amount of click sound

The Magic Keyboard with USB-C is a game-changer for Apple users, combining seamless connectivity, a sleek design, and an ultra-responsive typing experience. With its backlit keys and scissor mechanism, typing feels smooth, precise, and comfortable, whether you’re working late at night or on the go. The USB-C port allows for easy charging and passthrough capabilities, keeping your workspace clutter-free. Its sturdy yet lightweight build makes it perfect for portability, while the multi-touch trackpad enhances navigation, making it an essential companion for iPad productivity. If you’re looking for a premium keyboard that enhances both efficiency and aesthetics, the Magic Keyboard with USB-C is a must-have.

Unfortunately, the only game in town if you want Touch ID. It is a perfectly acceptable keyboard, key travel is a bit short but they feel good and don't misfire. Battery life is excellent, love the addition of USB-C (finally), but why on earth is the black version $20 more than the white version?! Ooof, Apple. I also do like that the fn key has ben moved.

Very happy with this keyboard. My dislike with prior Apple keyboard was the white keys. No matter how careful i was, they seemed to always look dirty. Pros for this keyboard are the USB C port which aligns with all my other Apple products and the touch finger login that is perfect when using my Mac in “clam shell” mode (displaying on an external monitor with laptop closed). In addition, the black keys are very attractive with the silver base and compliments my Samsung Smart Monitor which I also purchased from Best Buy.

Keyboard has a nice feel and is easy to type on. Overall, a very solid build however there are serious limitations when you don’t have macOS 15 Sequoia installed. If you are running an older version of macOS say version 14 or lower you will not be able to use the touch ID functionality or the FN keys. I specifically purchased this keyboard to use with my work MacBook M3 Pro. Unfortunately, IT limits the macOS version to 14.7.1 due to security tests and as a result this keyboard is basically worthless as a $180 generic keyboard. Definitely not worth the investment if you don’t have the newest version of macOS for that reason I chose to return it. It is very clear that somebody at Apple HQ realized a compatibility issue with the USB-C versions of the trackpad and the magic keyboard with touch ID and just chose to quietly update the specifications on Apple’s own website without a solution. I can understand not being able to work with Intel chipset Macs but as a general rule and customer experience standpoint, the keyboard should just work out of the box no questions asked.

This was apart of my new setup that I got from Best Buy and figured if I was going to go ahead and get a new Mini Mac might as well get the whole ecosystem. I am very happy with the way the keyboard works and types, plus I am a sucker in having a numerical key pad and Touch ID. Overall, easy to use and setup and really like how thin it is.

I prefer the numeric key pad and the Touch ID saves a lot of time. It is expensive for a keyboard. I have another one on another Mac that is 10 years old and still works well except for the cap lock which gets stuck at times.

The keyboard has a nice tactile feel and most importantly has not lost connection with my MacBook Pro, unlike the bluetooth keyboard I had previously.

These keyboards are great in so many ways. Keys feel good, nice even layout. However, they need the ability to be elevated a bit more on the back, which is my preference. That is why it loses a star ... and the price.

Excellent keyboard, matching the black MacBook. I like the numerical keys and the finger print reader feature on the keyboard. It's a small thing, but much easier to enter passwords, etc. right from the keyboard.

I love having a wireless keyboard on my desk. I really prefer the touch and response of this keyboard over all others. And I love they added the fingerprint reader to this keyboard. It's not a cheep keyboard, but it's perfect for me.

Worth it for the touch id - I use it in clamshell when I'm home, and to just have everything i need plus a numeric keypad is good. Ergonomics could be better
