    This works great to transfer vhs to dvd and to record your shows from tv to dvd. I have successfully recorded my shows multiple times. Love this device.

    I needed another DVD/VCR combo so I could not only record, but copy some of my VCR tapes to DVD. This unit worked fine. I recommend it, but you need to note it will not copy protected media.

    At first it's hard to learn about the device you have to have the right discs for it. The specific type is DVD-R it will not dub on any other type. Its as easy as enter the vhs tape enter the DVD hit Dubbing see the red dot recording and let it finish..Now my memories are stored on DVD forever!!!..Get it it is worth it!!

    The VHS to DVD converter works well but the VHS player is not as good as others I have had. During rewind it did not stop and the VHS tape came off the spool and I will have to take it apart to fix it.
