Aside from the great looks of this speaker, the sound the Marshall Stanmore Bluetooth Speaker produces is amazing! The ease to operate via aux or bluetooth is an added benefit, and I would highly recommended this small speaker that packs a large punch!

Lovely addition to a little record player setup. Vintage styling, sturdy switches, and size are absolutely perfect. Sound is very good, but not great. My sonos one sounds better for modern hip hop music. Nevertheless, the aesthetics of this piece are unmatched.

I think I'm actuily at show the show I was watching funny car drag racing and it sounded like the front row if you buy one these products it's well worth the money

I originally looked at the typical portable bluetooth speakers with lithium batteries. After listening to several, I was very disappointed by the sound quality, even for the speakers that were getting really good reviews. Because this Marshall Stanmore was in the same area of the store, I listened to it and found it to be far superior. The Stanmore has bass and treble controls to allow you to tweak the sound to your liking, something that is missing on most other small speakers. It also gets fairly loud for being so small. It terms of sound quality and volume, it will blow away the competition. While this speaker is portable and not that heavy, it is not small enough to put in a purse, and it does not come with a carrying strap. It also does not have a lithium battery, so it needs to be plugged in to be used. Having a lithium battery allows use away from an outlet, but the battery will one day fail, and most portable bluetooth speakers do not have a lithium battery that can be replaced, or easily replaced. So, when it fails, you will need to replace the speaker for most models. Also, lithium batteries need to charged and depleted periodically to maintain them. In any case, if you want something for the beach, the Stanmore is not what you want because it does not have a battery and is not waterproof. But if you want something for a lake house of ski cabin and you are driving there, the Stanmore is perfect. In terms of bulld quality, the Stanmore is very solid and high quality, way better than most portable bluetooth speakers. The Stanmore is between the Marshall Kilburn and Woburn in terms of size and sound quality (the Kilburn is the smaller, and I think it comes with a lithium battery that can be replaced). The sound quality of the Kilburn was less than I was looking for, and the Woburn was too large, which is how I ended up selecting the Stanmore. Marshall has some other small speakers for home use, but I have not seen them. In summary, I found the Stanmore to be small, but provide great sound for the size. I preferred the fact that it did not have a battery for my planned uses.

I had a pretty nice sounding stereo system in my shop and this little powerhouse replaced it nicely. I just wanted something that took up less space and didn't need anything portable or with a battery. My shop is 600 square feet and this more than does the trick! The classic look is something I appreciate as well. You get what you pay for here without paying for extra useless features. Sound is crisp and superb and you can adjust the treble and base knobs to your liking. For a single standing speaker, this thing is amazing!

I had been looking for awhile to replace my Denon shelf system. It had mission speakers and I think 70 watts... but what once was compact was now bulky and cumbersome. WIRES FOR DAYS. So I read a million reviews and narrowed it down to a few choices, the Sonos play 3 was one and the higher end Marshall unit. The Sonos really does the job well and blends in any environment and the Woburn Marshall had a few low points. SO... I went with the Stanmore and it is worth every penny. The style and build quality are top notch and way cool, the sound, the bass, just wow. To top it off you can plug a turntable into it. Go get one now.

A creative timeless piece of art and mine is cream that makes it dreamy. That’s enough for looks. Let’s get to the soul of the matter and that’s the spirit of the Marshall Stanmore, paired with my iPhone EQ and its a match made in heaven. Sound quality is excellent. The Stanmore is in a class of its on. The next step up is the Woburn which I returned, maybe mines was defective, it was very unstable. The Stanmore is well balanced. I can get use to this, like forever after. Read the other 5 Stars reviews for more in depth details for me it was love in first sight and music to my ears. It’s a Bestbuy.

We use this in a large living area. It is attractive enough that it adds to the room, rather than detracting from it. Bluetooth syncs up great, no issues with various devices. The sound quality is good, although maybe not as good as I expected. It has enough quality volume to fill a very large room loudly, or to give background music for multiple rooms throughout the house. We have a Bose Soundlink mini speaker, and relative to it's diminutive size, it sounds better than the Marshall-stanmore. I would speculate that a comparable Bose of the Marshall-stanmore size would provide slightly better sound quality. We were sold on the reviews, the look, and the ability to connect old cd, cassette and turntables (wired) on this unit.

I loooooooooooove this speaker! amazing sound quality, crystal clarity, very loud, superb quality, very well made which is rare these days. The bass is amazing! I've owned $5000 PA setups before and this blows them away, especially for the size. Retro yet modern look, everyone that comes over loves it. The rose gold accents really make it pop. I use it for my computer as computer speakers instead of going with logitech.

After doing a lot of product research I purchased this stanmore speaker by Marshall for my husband for Christmas. We love it! We purchased it online and shipped and was at our door in two days. Very convenient. After plugging the speaker in, (Yes it has a plug, so not portable) and testing the sound we were blown away. This speaker cranks it out, with great quality sound and bass. Another thing I was happily surprised with it is Bluetooth capable but also comes with a cable to hardline connect which is nice! One thing I was left desiring, which maybe Marshall will consider for the future, would’ve if they included a USB port in the design. Since the speaker plugs in you think it would only make sense to have a spot to charge your phone. However, I did not take off any stars for this because that is just my personal preference, and not an actual issue with the speaker.

this is my 2nd marshall purchase, I also own the Kilburn. This speaker is phenomenal. sounds great and it can get loud. I use this in the living room for parties and personal use and everyone loves it. I'll use this when I tailgate at football games this season too. I love that you can adjust the bass and treble for each song. the sound is crystal clear and there is no distortion. it looks very classic too. it's big and heavy, but it's what you would expect from a speaker of this caliber. I also have a 5 speaker bose acoustmass system set up to my receiver but I prefer the sound from the marshall for music. Get it, you wound be disappointed.

Dont let the little size of this speaker fool you. It has all the rich sound of a speaker double or triple its size. Very comparable to my Bose speakers. I had no problem connecting my bluetooth to it. It is small enough to carry around with you. Quite simply its awesome in all ways.

Rich bass, great volume, easy to use! Be aware: This speaker is NOT battery-powered and is too big to haul around a lot, but if you want big, rich sound and just a bit of 'cool', this is a great speaker! Easy to connect, simple controls, and blast-em-out volume!

The speaker is a best value buy in its category. The bass and treble are perfect for the day to day music which we listen to. The sound output is high and fill up an entire hall with its thumping and crisp sound. Look is also a USP for this product. It has a retro feel with the knobs and toggle switch which are too hard to ignore. No other brand provides such a coll and retro looking product. Its a must buy!!!

Sounds great out of the box. Bluetooth works really well. Walked into the house from the backyard to grab a drink with my phone in my pocket, never lost signal. Has individual amps for each speaker which was a major selling point for me. Must be plugged into an outlet which might be a drawback for some but i knew that before i bought it. Looks like a marshall guitar amp! This thing is a cool conversation piece for when people come over. Wouldn't recommend this thing if you want portability but i assume if your willing to fork over the $350 they're asking for it your probably not going to take it places where it risks getting damaged.

Love this speaker sounds so freaking awesome bass is deep highs are clear only thing I'm not a big fan of is it doesn't have a battery but understandable since it gets loud!!!

Sitting at my work desk toiling away at the mundane and then out of the blue, there was rock. The sound came pouring out of my new Marshall Bluetooth speaker enveloping my poor existence with the memories of a lifetime ago. The sound so clear and pure, the bass so full and embracing. I quickly jumped from rock anthem to rock anthem and then to ballad my head was spinning with intoxicating buzz of 80's hair band love. Suddenly as quickly as it started the musical world in my room changed. My teenage daughter walked in the house and my beloved glam rock turned to something new and strange but not all together bad. The beats were crisp and clean and the voice soar to the skies. My world had been invaded by a Grande an Ariana Grande and I liked it.

The quality of this speaker is top notch with that classic Marshall amp style. It goes to 11 with no distortion. More than loud enough to fill a large room with sound. Bass is tight and highs are crisp. And better yet, no batteries to go bad one day and render it useless. Buy it, and crank it up!!

This tabletop speaker has very nice tonal qualities & does not distort even at full volume. In addition because of the simple adjustment knobs it’s easy & quick to adjust the bass, treble & volume of whatever music you are listening to your requirements. I’m more then happy that I purchased the Marshall Stanmore Bluetooth speaker.
