I bought these for my RV because size and weight have to be kept down while traveling. Having said that I am no newcomer to home audio and they sound tremendous. The highs are definitely Vivid as advertised but I was surprised that the low end was warm and present for the size of the enclosure. I do have them set up with a SVS subwoofer and it's like I'm hearing my music for the first time for the amount of nuance and accuracy my setup now has. I also bought a Martin Logan slm for my Center Channel and couldn't be happier.

I wanted great sound at low volumes in my office. My Martin Logans in my home theater are great, so checked out Magnolia to see what they had. These speakers don't break the budget and with ny center speaker and subwoofer I could work all day! Great mid frequency, small size and extraordinary finish.

Got the open box with a really great price, don't have to think twice. Speakers are really nicely built. The black cherrywood color is really nice, looks better than the black one. I really like the sound of the speakers, the details on the high is amazing and it's not harsh, very clear and transparent. Low frequency is OK, due to a small driver, but for what I need for a small room it's good enough. If it's for a bigger room, a sub is recommended. The overall sound is better if you get the big brother, the Motion 35 XT, if you have room and the price is not an issue. It has a much better bass with the bigger driver. The speakers are very easy to drive due to high sensitivity. I connected to my old Denon stereo tuner from the 80s, the sound is really good. I am sure it will be much better if connected to higher-end good quality amps. I use the speakers for pure 2 channel audio. I compare it with my old floor standing from Wharfedale. I know it is not a fair comparison due to the size. The ML is more details and it gives a wider sound stage. Of course the bass on my Wharfedale is better because it is bigger with 2 drivers just for the bass. Due to the high sensitivity of the Motion 15, I can keep the volume level lower on the amp. Compare with the Wharfedale that is less sensitive, I have to crank the volume up more to get to the same listening volume level. Good speakers need to be connected to a good 2 channel amp for true Hi-fi and will upgrade my amp in the near future and it will not be a multi-channel receiver for home theatre.

The sound is very clean; sparkling highs and the bass isn't too bad unless you are looking for booming lows. Be sure to run the setup on your receiver; it improved the sound drastically. The cherry wood and the craftsmanship are just beautiful.

Use a pair of ML Motion 15, a ML Sub and ML Atmos speakers for movies, vinyl listening and CD/MP3 playback. Great all around speaker.

I cringe at the thought of a single speaker in excess of $300, but I have to admit the sound out of these little things is impressive. Combined with their goods looks and the obvious build quality, I'd say they're worth every penny.

Had these with motion 60xt front, motion 50xt center, dynamo 1000 sub, power by a pioneer elite sc 89 receiver. A great setup, pretty expensive for the average person but it is worth every penny. I highly recommended to anyone who wants a great set for under 5k.

I happen to be using these as surrounds with MartinLogan Motion 40 towers and a Motion 30 center, and they do a great job, but before they were relegated to surround duty I did run them as my fronts for a day (just to see how they handled the more intensive role). I found them to be quite capable (as long as you have a subwoofer to handle the lower frequencies), pretty balanced, and very clear. Running them as surrounds with the other MartinLogans provides a very cohesive, enveloping sound that is very natural and enjoyable. Overall, the Motion 15s are very good speakers that sound more expensive than they are.

I replaced my old Bose speakers with these Martin Logan speakers and I could not be happier!! The sound is awesome and these shelf speakers take up less floor space than the Bose. I absolutely LOVE them!!!
