Marvel vs Capcom has always been a stamp for fighting games since the times of the Sega Saturn, with a huge roster of character and fighting combos it made it a very fun game to play. This entry introduces more of the same but sadly with the disappearance of tons of characters from previous entries. The collectible itself is nothing to write home about, the statues look nice but are not highly detailed and the infinity stone look plasticy specially once turned on.

The statues look great and the case is sweet. The gems do look like eggs and they can not be removed.

Purchased this on a discount for $50 and pretty pleased with it overall. The game is fine and the four statues are pretty nice. The actual stones in the box are terrible though and look more like easter eggs. Still for the steep discount I got it for it was worth it.

This is more of a review for the items in the collector’s edition than the game. I liked the 4 statues and the fact you can put them together. I know people complained about the Infinity Stones looking like eggs but I actually liked them. Good deal on clearance.

Ok i have not played the game this is my thoughts on the collectors edition and i must say its awesome the figures are really well made the steelbook is awesome the only bad thing are the infinity stones but hey i got this for 41 dollars not bad really grear deal feel bad for people that pay full price because if they would have waited they would have gotten this amazing deal

The gift set is amazing!! Loaded with Statues and the gems make this a must buy for the kids!! Game is fun also and make this purchase a very happy collection

This is one of the best fighting games I’ve played all year even thou it looks horrible

The statues look good. The stones may noy look as good as expected but they light up and overall its still a cool item. The game is good if you like mvsc games then you will not be disappointed. For the discount price this is a nice buy.

could not pass up on having the the ultimate edition for marvel with the figurines included. Big collector so great piece added to my collection

I recently picked this bundle up after originally just buying the Deluxe edition. This edition is well worth your money if you are interested in the figures. They each stand roughly ten or twelve inches tall (sorry I don't have them next to me to measure exactly) and and incredibly detailed down to a texture for the material on Captain Marvel's costume. Iron Man is perhaps the most realistic looking figure as his suit has it's signature shine and proportions. Mega Man X also looks great followed by Chun-Li and Captain Marvel. The only parts of the figures that don't look as great to me are the faces look ever so slightly off, but still look good. Aside from that the game is packaged in it's steel book that is sealed in shrink wrap. Inside is the base game and DLC codes for the Season 1 DLC (all additional characters) as well as the exclusive PS4 Captain Marvel costume. The game plays great in my opinion, though with it's limited roster isn't up to what past games have been. Hopefully the game is picked back up and revised with more content at some point soon as the title implies "Infinite". If you find this on sale, I can definitely recommend picking it up like I did.

Statues are great quality and it's hard to find such a deal on four high quality ones. I got this item on clearance for ~$50, which is a steal. Only thing to worry about are the Infinity Easter Eggs. The stones look horrible.

If you are considering this version of the game, then you already know what to expect from it. In terms of the collector's edition, the figures are decent, but the Infinity Stones look like silly eggs. Also comes with the deluxe edition, which comes with the upcoming DLC characters. If dioramas are your thing, go for it, especially if you are a fan of the series.

I bought the collectors edition for a friend of mines who loves capcom games, marvel comics & movies & video games in general. Very happy with my purchase. The game is quite entertaining & the statues are beautifully made. My only gripe is that why couldn't we get this kind collectors set back in the 90s or early 2000s.

I like the statues but the gem were sort of silly.

I got this on clearance price so it’s not terrible. The game is good and the statues are cool. Like others have said, the “stones” look more like eggs. Which is a little disappointing.

Love the game and the SteelBook it comes in. The statues are pretty good quality too. The infinity stones on the other hand, look more like Easter eggs than infinity stones.

This is a very fun fighting game. I'm not a big fighting game fan, but I love these two franchises and enjoyed playing through the story mode. The collector's edition statues are sturdy and pretty detailed, so I thought is was worth the extra price.
