I held off for so long, waiting and hoping for some sort of complete edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man, and my patience paid off. Friends told me that it was worth paying full price for, and it truly is (but I waited and got it Black Friday weekend for cheap, so that makes it even more rewarding). The gameplay is excellent, very fluid and you really get to feel like you’re Spider-Man. The animation is excellent, as is the voice acting and score. As the game progresses, a lot of the side missions do get very repetitive, which is the danger of an open world sandbox game like this. But c’mon, it’s amazing to see New York rendered in such amazing (no pun intended) detail. Can’t wait to play the Miles Morales game and the inevitable sequel!

In short, this game as an open world experience is a love letter to fans and distant viewers of Spider-Man media. From the story having some beats that got me off guard in where they would go. Admittedly with some predictable things that were still thrilling to see. Speaking on the main game as a whole I would say this is a must play for anyone with a PS4 with even a passing appreciation for Marvel properties. Now. Where game may lose some like it did me was the DLC, While it does raise things up it definitely feels more contrived and not as satisfying as the main story from beginning to end. Regardless it does provide more types of play and more of the tightest and most satisfying gameplay I have had my hands on in a bit.

This is a really fun game, mainly because swinging around New York as Spider-Man feels amazing. It's easy to pick up and satisfying to master. Combat is pretty challenging. Stealth sections are a bit boring. Getting 100% completion of the game also gets repetitive particularly when you are trying to complete the crimes part, but that's forgivable. The game also has great graphics and a wonderful story. They really nailed the personalities of the characters. This version comes with a code to download three DLC story missions. They're quite good and add new enemies and challenges. Overall, I recommend this game to any superhero fan.

Great game. Great graphics and controls are spot on. So many different spidey moves. No slowdown when playing with all the action happening so fast. Cool spiderman story and missions

This is an outstanding game. Honestly, Spider-Man is one of the most loved and charming super heroes there is, so it would be fair to say I'm a little biased--at the same time, there have been some bad super hero games and unabashed cash grabs of low quality. Insomniac's Spider-Man game does a fantastic job. Swinging through the city as Spider-Man is really an immersive and cool experience--and beyond the thrills of acrobatically webslininging through the city, the game's story and combat are enjoyable too. If you're a Spider-Man fan, this is a must own in my opinion.

This game is pretty cool. Plays a lot like the Arkham series. The complete edition comes with 3 different DLC that add about an two to three hours per. Well worth the price!

Very fun. Lots of different Options for difficult! The graphics are great and the storyline is soo fun to interact with.

Well I just got the Spider-Man Game Of The Year Edition last week online for Black Friday loving the game so far great open world game, graphics are sick, the gameplay is so good this game is the only reason I ordered me a PS4 Pro just to play this Spider-Man game.

Love this game! Got it day one with my PS4 Pro and the graphics are amazing, gameplay is super smooth, and the controls are great! This game truly makes you feel like you're Spiderman AND Peter Parker. The story sucks you in and makes you feel and care for other characters. The combat is great, especially how you can approach situations multiple different ways. So much opportunity here with sequels as well. They could add more Villians, other hero cameo's, you name it. It's an incredible world with endless possibilities. 10/10 recommend!

Excellent story , graphics and gameplay.The gameplay is very engaging, Even when you are doing nothing, it is insanely fun to swing around the New York skyscrapers. The controls are fun to use and in hard-mode, it provides a fun and stimulating experience. The combat and skill tree were very interesting and had a lot of abilities that changed the gameplay quite a bit, providing new experiences even towards the end of the game. Insomniac made everything better.

The Marvel's Spider-Man Game of the Year Edition - PlayStation 4 game is really fun. The graphics on this game are out of this world. One of the best graphics on a game i have seen in a long time. It is quite fun to.play and I finished it in just a few day. I enjoyed playing spiderman. One of my favorite cartoon characters to play on a video game. Overall its a really good game to play for hours of fun. I would definitely recommend.

This worth it on the DLC alone. Even if you're not a comic book fan, the story and gameplay is great.

Bought this game and started playing it and when I tell you I have never had so much fun playing a game. This game was amazing mission after mission the story got better and better I 100% recommend this to anyone who hasn’t played it yet

Major props to Insomniac for delivering on the best superhero game of all time. Everything about this game from the characters, story, gameplay, etc. was on point. Past superhero games felt like they were just made to tie-in with a movie so it had no soul. But this game, you could just feel that the staff cared and wanted to give the fans a real game. This is the one folks.

Great value, especially if you can get it at under $20. The web-swinging, crime-fighting action is great. The DLC is a nice extra if you found the main game fun, but are not necessary to play through. The main story however is engaging and I love how Insomniac studios was able to make their own Spider-verse that is original and works well even with the better known MCU Spider-man out there.

I'm not even a spider-man fan and this game is amazing. It's no wonder it is "game of the year" and received many praises. It is fast paced and the graphics and gameplay are amazing. You can tell a lot of love went into creating this game. This is a MUST HAVE game that's worth paying for.
