They really enjoying playing it amongst themselves and their friends. What I don't like about it is unlike Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots the combatants are not contained in an arena, so when they get knocked off their pedestal they tend to fall off the table (7 and 8 year olds can only reach so far) and hit the floor. Hard.

Fine for 4 years
