I got a new washer so I needed a dryer to match. This one got my attention because of the simplicity and turn knobs. No computerized frilliness to short out and quit responding. This Maytag dryer is a winner!

This Maytag dryer replaced another one that was at least 30 years old. The motor finally went on the first unit and wasn't worth fixing, so I got this as the modern equivalent. Doesn't have any fancy features, which don't matter to me anyway (e.g. steam drying). I like simple, and this does have some nicer features (light inside drum, more efficient and faster drying). Durability is especially important, and only time will tell how this unit compares to the old one. But good so far.

I recently purchased both a Maytag washer and a Maytag dryer. It reminded me why I have always liked this brand so much. The dryer had a large capacity, a bright inside light and several heat settings to choose. In 45 minutes the medium setting delivered soft, wrinkle free laundry. It's a winner.

Nice machine. Drys quickly. No complicated controls.

We have always owned Maytags, so that was an easy choice for a brand. We like the simple model because we are older people and didn’t want to go to school to learn how to operate a complicated machine. The less things to go wrong with. The only thing we would rather it had was the dryer lint screen be inside the door! We fold clothes on top of dryer & with the lint screen on top it gets lint all over!

My other dryer died on me so i decided to buy a new washing machine and dryer. I liked the dryer, it's basic which is all I need. It's simple to use and does a great job. I like the light inside, that was a requirement for me. I also find that the laundry don't feel overdried, that they feel just right when taking them out.

The dryer is easy to use, clothes dry quickly, quiet and large capacity.

I’ve been living in an apartment using quarters to dry my laundry. I didn’t need a dryer with a bunch of bells and whistles. This dryer is great quality at a great price. I’ve had it for about 3 months now. My only gripe is that the door is a little tough to close. I have to push pretty hard. It’s not the worst problem to have. I think it will loosen up over time. I was surprised that the dryer has a moisture sensor in it (mainly because it’s pretty basic as far as dryers go). This helps cut back on cycle time, and saves me a little on my utility bill. I’m happy with my purchase, and no longer have to stockpile quarters!!

This dryer is great. I love the light that's in the dryer and dries very well. This dryer replaced 2 new whirlpool dryers that I had to exchange before I bought this dryer. It works far greater than the 2 whirlpool dryers ever did. I guess whirlpool don't make dryers like they use to. My old dryer was a whirlpool and it lasted for 15 or 16 years before it wouldn't dry very good just like the 2 replacements I had to exchange. I am very pleased with this new maytag dryer.

Old time integrity! Nothing fancy but works like a charm. Highly recommend

We purchased this dryer to replace our old one. We chose it because we have a Maytag Centennial washer which has been great, reviews were positive, and Best Buy had it on sale. We've been using it for 2 months now, and we have no complaints. It's a simple, basic dryer that works - and that's what we were looking for. We do like that the drum opening is large enough to easily put in blankets or comforters and that there's a light in the drum. We don't like that there may or may not be a minor rattling somewhere (we can't determine where yet) when it's running, but this is intermittent and not a big issue for us.

A great improvement over the Samsung I had before.

this dryer is very quiet and dry our cloths very well it has different settings and always does the job, plus comes with a 10 year warranty, cant beat that.

Purchased the Commercial series and have been very happy with it's ease of use. The size is great I can do very large comforters ect\... I really like the auto level setting for washing my clothes

I had traded in an upgraded dryer for this simple one. This is very easy to use and efficient. Now I don't have to spend a lot of time figuring out what setting I should use for each load. This is simple and wonderful!

these are NOT digital/high tech machines. Exactly what we wanted. Glad Best Buy carries these Maytag models with dials and knobs and they work great.

This is the companion Maytag dryer to replace the same one I have had for some years and I did research to locate it. I was very happy that Best Buy was offering it.
