This MEE audio-Connect Hub audio Transmitter and Receiver was hooked up to our TV entertainment system to allow us to use our Bose wireless headphones alone or in conjunction with our Sonos system. My husband has hearing aids and while watching a movie, he finds listening through the Bose makes the sound clearer allowing him to enjoy the movie more. I also use the Bose headphones alone (by turning the sound down on our Harmony Remote) to watch TV after he goes to bed. The tech who hooked up our system needed to connect through our cable box, which remains on all the time; so we would not need to turn on the hub every time we wanted to use the headphones. We have it sitting on top of our Sonos bar to ensure the signal remains constant regardless of where we are sitting.

Works as it should. This Blue Tooth system is basically a plug and play for your home stereo. It can feed your Phone Bluetooth directly to your stereo source system input using supplied cables, or collect from the output to transform your stereo into a Bluetooth device to send your stereo records or CD’s to a Bluetooth device or Speakers! Great for home systems! Not one of the cheap battery powered systems that only plug into a Microphone Jack. Great little solution to get your music out of the phone and into your home! Highly recommend!

Great when it works. But if you have bluetooth devices on in your house it will auto select any one of them. I spent many night's cause my significant other cant sleep with the tv on trying to get my ear buds connected. I know it wasnt my ear buds because i tried with several different pairs. Tou would have to do a complete reset on the device and initiate the process every time.

This item may be a bit pricey, but in my opinion, it is worth the money. It provides excellent dual bluetooth connectivity for my bedroom television, and its low-profile design does not light up the room.

This Bluetooth transmitter works great for hooking up headphones to the tv while I exercise! Or just don’t want to bug others while watching tv! simple to use, three ways to use it! I'm using the optical hook-ups for my LG TV.

Excellent product although a little pricey. Comes with everything needed for most hookups. Easy to setup and use. I'm using this on a receiver in a secondary room for occasional use. This unit has built in voice prompts. I would buy this product again.

This was easy to set up and use. For some odd reason, only the audio jack worked on my 2010 TV. The RCA and the optical jacks didn't. I found the sound to be good and the lag time to be only a fraction of a second, which didn't bother me. Some reviews complained a lot about the lag time. It depends on the speakers used. They need to have Qualcomm® aptX™ and aptX™ Low Latency Bluetooth audio codecs in order to have exact sound sync with the TV. I think it could be sold at a lower price, though.

    Bluetooth audio adapter

This unit has tons of features, most of which I haven't tried and probably never will. I just wanted to stream music from my TV to wireless headphones but ran into an issue with the first bluetooth adapter I purchased - my TV only has a single audio output connection, an optical port, which is already connected to my soundbar. I found a bluetooth adapter with an optical connection on Amazon, but quickly learned that I would have to swap the optical cable back and forth between the bluetooth adapter and Soundbar every time I wanted to go from using my headphones to using the soundbar. I really wanted to have both working at the same time, a conundrum I presented to a Best Buy tech, who recommended this unit. Back went the Amazon adapter, and a few days later I had this one in hand. What makes this device work well in my situation is the fact that it has both optical input and optical output. The input is connected to my TV, and the output to my soundbar, so I can have sound through both the soundbar and my headphones at the same time. Because I already had my TV set up for the other adapter, installation was plug and play. I did have a switch set incorrectly at first but playing with the unit for a few minutes set me straight (the unit talks whenever a button or switch is used, telling you what you did). Once set up, the bluetooth headphones reconnect automatically and the soundbar always works as long as this device is powered on (which is always). Range is good, sound quality is good, and most importantly I have the freedom to use my soundbar without undoing any cables. Great solution!

Glad I spent a little more. Premium quality product. So very easy to set up. Be sure you let it charge up for awhile after you plug it into your power receptacle.. No lag and excellent sound transfer. I use it with a small Bose Sound Link and the sound on our TV is now amazing. Highly recommended.

I wanted bluetooth transmitter for my tv so I use my headphones when I use the Smart apps, Chromecast, satellite and my blu ray player. But I also wanted to still use my soundbar with optical cable. This allows me to plug in my sound bar and my tv. The sound is awesome by using the optical cable. You can also use it as a receiver for a stereo and etc. It does verbally tell you that you are connected or disconnected. It was very easy to pair with my headphones.

Finally, two people can control their own volume

I hear much better than my wife, which means the TV volume was always extremely high so she could hear the dialogue well. We tried three types of soundbars to better isolate the dialogue, but none worked well enough. Our TV only had one Bluetooth out channel, so using a headphone setup worked with one viewing, but not two. Now, my wife can listen through her Apple earbuds, and at the same time I can choose to listen through the TV speakers OR with my own headphones. We've used it this way for two months and are very pleased. We did buy an optical audio splitter to give us a little more flexibility to have almost any combination of TV speakers, soundbar speaker, and up to two headphones all at the same time depending on who is watching.

This device was easy to pair. It was significantly more expense than the options I found on Amazon, but the two options that I did purchase were not easy to pair. In fact I still can’t get one to connect. This device quickly recongizes the Bluetooth devices and confirms the connection audibly.

We were looking for a device that would split and transmit audio signals from either our projector, DVD player, computer, or phone into two sets of AirPods. This little guy does the job beautifully! The operating buttons are easy; and the voice command prompts (which can be turned off) flawlessly guide through the process of pairing devices. Usually, we simply plug in the audio source via 3.5mm cable, then pair one set of Bluetooth ear buds, then the second one. We have tried a range of 20 feet without problems. However, transmitting through walls or even closed windows quickly becomes a challenge. Excellent product; highly recommend.

Easy to connect, easy to use, and performance seems excellent. Sound quality through the link and headphones is far superior to the sound coming out of the TV. I have difficulty understanding speech particularly on sports programs. With this device (and a good set of headphones) I can understand every syllable, and my volume is independent of the TV speaker volume.

Transmiter 1. Connected to my tv optical out to device hub in, then optical out from hub to soundbar...works great! 2. Bluetooth pairing up to 2 bluetooth headphones is fantastic! Reciever 1. Paired my smartphone to the hub to hear my stored tunes & SiriusXM through the soundbar, and, again works great every time the hub is paired as either a transmitter or a reciever. TIP: Use optical connection, if possible, as the sound is cleaner and seamless to devices such as a soundbar, etc. The RCA analog connectors are ok in a pinch, but optical is the closest to HDMI quality sound....Oh, it supports various audio codex for great fidelity. Hope this helps in a small way.

Great for bedroom TV use when the significant other is going to sleep. Super easy to set up and use. I was a little hesitant at the price but after reading what issues there can be when trying to use low latency head phones with a non-low latency transmitter, it was decided for me. No audio lag and very good sound quality in my Sony over WH1000mx2. I am currently connecting it to to my TV by optical cable since my soundbar and Chromecast occupy my HDMI ports.

I bought a cheap Black Friday TV and didn't realize that it didn't have bluetooth capabilities. I bought this device so I can connect my headphones. I specifically wanted this model with the passthrough function since I use a soundbar as well. It works great for my needs and was easy to set up. Once plugged in, it stay on all the time so I only need to turn on my headphones to connect and don't need to press any buttons on this device. I have 2 headphones paired to it and they both work at the same time. The only downside is that it seems like there is a half second delay between the picture and the sound. I'm not sure if that's due to my cable or if this device causes a lag. But its not too noticeable so I can live with it. I can change the lag on my TV but it will then throw off the timing with my soundbar, which I use more frequently so i don't mess with it.
